It's because I read with an open mind and can use my brain that's why I am able to see beyond this scam of a story.
You probably are the type that believes witches can turn to birds and that a man can wake up one day and sees loads of cash on his bed, sent by a holy spirit.

I have made reference to the prisons having farm settlement outside the prison yards in contrary to your thought that the farms mentioned are within the prison yards.
I have not said anything about the profit in millions mentioned.
We all know that is an exaggeration from an overzealous staff wanting to impress on the little progress they might b making with the prison/farming program.

Pls, take it cool.

Story for the imb eciles.
How big is the prison yard farm? Not that big because the prison itself isn't that big.
Even at that not all the proceeds go to the prisoner, just a fraction, more like labourers wages.
I don't know what they intend to achieve with this story but they should know not everyone has a cattle brain.

Read with open mind,
The farm settlements ain't with the prison yard.
There are established centers across the country where the prisoners are transfered to based on recommendation from their respective wardens

Chief. If i say I understand that picture ehn. Na lie i lie.
What i'll advice is this.
1. Write down your odometer just before refill.
2. Refill your tank to full tank.
3. drive the vehicle normally till that low fuel light comes on.
4. Note your odometer
5. Refill again
6. Drive till light comes on.
7. Note your odometer reading.

So atleast we'll have 2 test results to work with.
That way we can get an idea of your mpg. Though not actual but close to it.

There is also anoda method i came across. Lemme see if i'll see it

Converting that to MPG, my usage is abt 13-14MPG.

I bought a tokubo Toyota Camry 2003 about 4 months ago, but I notice that the fuel consumptions seems to be on the high side.
I use about 13liters over 60km drive daily. Mixed of city and highway driving.
Attach is the history of my fuel usage. Found this application online and use it to monitor my fuel usage.
Please is this normal.
The consumption is measured in Kilometer/ litre.
From what I checked online (28mpg- 35mpg) the consumption shouldnt be DAT high.
Please what could b the problem

It's one thing to be "THE BRAND", it's another thing to "MAXIMIZE PROFIT" from the brand.
Facebook, for example have still not figured out how to maximally monetize whatsapp

Monetize whatsapp in what sense.
If you mean people subscribing to use the platform then they might end up the like hotmail and onebox.

I could remember vividly when the internet was just becoming the in thing in Nigeria way back 1997 and cybercafe was the only place you can use the internet.
I use to have a hotmail and onebox account while my yahoo mail was just Secondary, then Onebox and hotmail came up with yearly subscription and gradually people move from the two to yahoo.
I still use my yahoo acct 5hat was created in 1998 till date while have totally forgotten about onebox and hotmail and you can hardly find anyone using either of the two anymore.

Is block the only component in building? And you think that you’ve asked an intelligent question in public?

All the nonsense that you wrote doesn’t negate the fact that the services of a QS is a complete waste and a sham in small self builds.

You type this nonsense as if you can calculate to the last bucket of how much sharp sand to order.

Keep fooling yourself.

Lolz

I don't know this is the kind of person you are,
Sorry I don't engage low minds like your who resort to insult when they don't have anything to back up their baseless claims.

When you are done misleading people for your personal gains they will realise.

This is for those who really want to know and build but not in the construction industry or know anything about buildng.

Please take precautions.
For the building design above you can't spend less than a million to achieve it to final finishing so why just run the risk of investing such without a professional advice.
The service of an experienced student QS or fresh graduate QS will go a long way at a every minimal cost say 25k. And you will get your material schedule and even a bill of quantity which will service as your guide when you buy and negotiate with artisans.
Thanks

Quantity Surveyor is the most useless profession in small self builds.

I encourage no one waste their money on such nonsense.

The cost to hire a quantity surveyor can be used towards the project.

PS: I’ll be waiting for the associate members of Nairaland QS to respond with their typical hunger induced vitriol grin

Lolz,
Hmmmmmm

Is block the only component in a house?
The cheapest component in building is the block works and yet it occupied the most space so if you think you have made great saving doing your block calculation yourself.
Then be prepare to pay more because the artisans (bricklayer, painter, electrician etc will milk you) when you start wall plastering and floor screed, because I bet you can't do those calculation yourself.
Are you go8ng to do the calculation for roof carcass (timber), roofing sheet, paint and electrictical material yourself.

Please be guided a lot is involve in putting up a building even for a small 2 -3 bedroom bungalow.
If you skip the service of a Quantity surveyor you will save little money but end up spending it on material cos it's either you under buy and have to spend extra on transport When you have to buy the quantity left or you buy far more than is required. Then by the time you add up all this little extras it will be far more than what you will have paid a QS to do a proper Bill of quantities (BOQ) or material schedule for you.

Be wise and not be penny wise pound foolish

But in a way i think luck shun on him, cuz imagine if he had gone ahead to aquire the company with thousands of staff, a meager 6000bpd production capacity and the crashing oil prices of 2013-2017.
He probably wouldn't have sailed through

You missed why he wanted to buy the company.
It is simply because it's an European Company, that will make it easy for him go get contract in African oil&gas industry and exploit the greed of african politician to make money.

At the end the company might be more of a portfolio company that is struggling to survive in the home state but raking in millions of dollars in Africa.
