Àbí fuel matter dey go round? I just changed mine yesterday after it started misbehaving on Wednesday. Na toks my rewire bring. Sometime last year my parts guy shipped new one for me from China, the thing no last 2 weeks.
Since Saturday, I noticed some slow movement while accelerating + car not starting on the first attempt until I turn it off and roll it again before it starts (aka hard starting).
Today, we checked every possible culprit till we got to fuel pump and noticed fuel pump pressure was low. So, I decided to replace the filter as well.
This will be the first time I am changing the pump and filter.

BTW, is it that person no fit get the genuine original brand new fuel pump ni?
When I wanted to change my shaft then, na this tokunbo my mechanic say we go buy.
Is it that we can't get original brand new car parts in this country ni? angry

I used to rate northwest before but there fuel isn't like before anymore, I stopped buying from them, I think I will just be buying 30k fuel from MRS alagbole before setting out those people's fuel is very good, imagine the 12litres I got from them since they finished ringing my car, i just came out with it and I went to Buena Vista at orchid, went to VI from orchid with the serious traffic today, still went to lekki phase 1 n the reserve didn't come up until I took a trip to Nike art gallery.
They're number 1. ✅

Bought fuel at AP Admiralty over 2 yrs ago, I have never returned there again.
NNPC falomo, MRS ahmadu bello, or Mobil Ahmadu bello/Sanfill if I had no choice.
For mainland, Northwest Gbagada/Maryland, MRS Alapere, NNPC OGUDU or NNPC Alapere if I had no choice..
MRS still remains number 1.
Back then when I used to drive all the way from alapere to palm groove to get fuel at the MRS.
When MRS alapere resumed operations, I never bought anywhere else. Except once in a while I dey buy at mobil.
MRS has the best fuel, followed by Mobil, then others.
You see that NNPC, Total, Conoil, AP, Eterna... dem be scam. angry

Not even upto 85%

From my own view, I will say 70%, map that can make you go round sometimes just to locate a street, for instance, if you're going to any street around Pedro, map will never take you through that charlie boy, it will take you through gbagada phase 1 or Iyana oworo and if you rely solely on map in Lagos, you and rider go fight tire...

But you still need the help of map though, just try to understand the lines on the map and you will be able to tell when the map is taking you through longer route...
You mean gidigbo like this?
I'm interested. grin

I took the rider to Eastgate hotel. The traffic was madder than it used to be onto say they have already started expanding the road and demolishing some parts of the buildings.

Took my first trip on indrive today, didn't pay attention to the Map instructions when going to pick up the rider and while dropping off ... burnt fuel like kilode.... The rider was nice but my fuel just dey burn, price on indrive can be ridiculous. Still a novice bit I don't know if I have the willpower to continue yet.... Fuel of 20k no reach anywhere for Meter and it's burning fast. The money I got used it for fuel back ....no gain yet o , trial and error moment , moment of Truth kiss cry cry
This part is damn funny. grin
Btw, by the time you master indrive, you go find the peace that's hidden on it. Though, it might not come easy because fuel price of today is times 6 of when I started learning about indrive.
But from what you said here, the mistake was from you (not indrive).
Keep using indrive once in a while, by the time you get the grip, it would be like eating pap and milk with warmed moinmoin.
God no go shame us.

So, as development don hit Orchid road now, make dem complete am asap. That road is long overdue. cool
I sympathize with victims of the expansion, but the road deserves peace.
Orchid is one of the best positioning spots in lekki. Always hot for trips.

MODIFIED:
Abeg, shey na me dey stubborn ni? Anytime I take a trip to orchid road and confirm the location to the rider, I pronounce it as "or-kid", but riders always correct me by pronouncing it as " or-sheed".
But wetin me I know be say the oyinbo wey get the word no get anything like "or-sheed", na "or-kid" be the correct pronunciation.

it doesn't dissolve like sugar.
It stays in your food like particles, though better than any sweetening additives. Same as honey.

My brother looking for brain box, God will help you. He's your strength!

With all these ridiculous prices and drivers are rushing them. The same prices when fuel was 585.

I just dey watch sha!

Bn out here since morning. I have not worked. Why? Can't pick these prices with fuel at 1100 and with Camry muscle 09/10. Nah I can't. Bolt isn't even trying too.

It is well.

The kind of trip I've been seeing since morning. Almost an hour for 7k and drivers are rushing it 👇
Agba. 🙌
If na me get this exotic Camry (for e-hailing), the only days you go dey see me hustling na Friday-Saturday-Sunday (strictly).
Even with my yanmayanma big daddy, I only hustle Thursday-Sunday now (4 days), then use the rest of the week for something else.
I dey look into establishing a laundry business by next year. This Tinubu era is obviously a negative flame on everything.
I wan reduce my e-hailing to 3 days (Fri-Sat-Sun) only with a net of 100k min as always.
We must move and God no go shame us.

This matter has sworn not to die in this thread.
If there's any common ground or a constant suggestion I have observed, it is to have an exit plan depending on Ur objectives in life.

E-hailing can lead u to Ur final destination (plans).
9-5 can also lead u to Ur final destination.

Let all man find his way. Let's stop arguing back and forth, or try to demoralised each other.

I hope this argument won't enter 2025 again.

Well I don’t know much about exit plan. XGhost said something that really catchy yesterday. And when I analyze the 720 ABO… omo e no reach anything. Big man, big problem… if such make one to think he has arrived, he won’t even understand how everything is moving fast.

Why I said I don’t know much about exit. All it takes for me to feel like driving is being idle, not survival. Especially on Sunday’s.

Picked one woman and her daughter in the morning who were obviously going to church. Though I have a playlist of gospel songs, but I played this song below first and the woman was like, "Jesus! What's this?" 😁
I just quickly switched to the normal Christian songs before they run out of my car.
It's a hymn song that the theme is like when these illuminati cabals are performing rituals.

Can one make decent earnings doing just short distance ride. I assume the best way to earn is long distance Trip like mainland to the island etc but is it possible to still make a decent earning driving short distance only.

I am on alimosho presently, does it make sense just driving around egbeda, ipaja, abule egba, towards toll gate axis. Ikotun, isheri, down to igando

Pls enlightened me someone
These are horrific areas. Doing short trips within those axis is going to be an unpleasant experience.
I avoid those areas like plaque.
The best place for short trips still remains island (VI + Lekki phase1).
