northbird: Infact, I was there when he made that call. I would have doubted it if some else told me. No be small thing. I heard they're even done with the Suzuki, that they're going to be dealing with another brand. I think maybe because of the outrageous price. Those who got it when it was soft are lucky, once they're done paying for the cars, na flexing remain. It is well. Much respect, sir. |

Omoapena: Did you say no vehicle is expensive for ehailing?
You're kidding right?, you will advise someone to buy 10m+ car for this hustle cox its 4plug? Me, I would gladly buy it. Or, is there any reason why one can not buy such ride for the hustle? I would make my money back in 2 years with soft work. Much respect, sir. |

GoAbroad25: Hello everyone, I am a first-timer here.
I have seen a lot of GAC vehicles being used on Lag Ride, and it got me curious about their suitability for ride-hailing platforms. How does it compare to Toyota, Honda , Suzuki & Kia for Uber/Taxify? How is the car's performance, durability, and maintenance costs?
Thanks for your response. Those GAC vehicles of LAGRIDE are very suitable for the hustle, that's why they are being used for it. The fuel economy of both the SUV and Sedan is the same as that of Corolla and even more economical than the latter. The only thing is the parts - our Corolla and Camry kazeems can not be trusted with GAC parts cos they can mess it up by using different brands just to fit in. Anyone going for the GAC must know their service centres and make them his/her go-to for anything. No idea about their parts' prices, might be cheaper or more expensive, but the vehicle is very rugged and smooth drive issa pleasure. GAC is a luxurious vehicle for the job and suitable. No vehicle is more expensive for e-hailing as long as it is 4plug and not more than 2.4Ltr. engine. If I was asked to choose one car among the ones you listed above, I would gladly go for the GAC. That ride is a beauty both interior & exterior, I've driven it before. I am someone who values aesthetics. When you show up to your riders, they should feel good entering your car. But the car is very expensive. You know how much the midget Suzuki S-Presso is now? Mad oooh. Much respect, sir. |

Can someone use EOD or Honda Accord DC or Camry 2002 for part time driving on bolt and indrive?
Most civic of 03-05 I see are badly used and ridiculously priced @the bold; I dey see am, too. Be like people have now been rushing to it due to its fuel economy hype and cheap parts. You know, when a car demand is getting higher, the price go follow am climb ladder, just like the Corolla. To your question, both are suitable for the hustle, but I would rather opt for a clean and well-maintaned DC. Much respect, boss. |

Pearl1910: See, most times renters earn more than car owners. Car owner is responsible for repairs and maintenance while a Renter will call his partner to send money for repairs. Except u are blessed with a car that will not give u a single issue month in month out. I agree. No doubt. Much respect, sir. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Glithronix: 3:31pm On Nov 28, 2024 |
CheerfulGiver: The major difference between a car owner and a renter is just a psychological difference. If a car owner nets 200k weekly, and a rental guy nets 200k weekly, apart from the remittance the rental guy pays, what's the difference between the two? From a car owner's angle. However, from personal observation, 90% (or above) of drivers making contributions here are owner-drivers. I no dey see rental guys contributing. It's either dey come and lament once in blue moon, or they stay silent as ghost readers, or show up when they see giveaway. Na why I just kuku put my point in the bracket of car owners. And yeah, rental guys can make the same, I concour. Anybody can make it definitely. Much respect, boss. |
