Politics › Re: NIN Should Also Be Synchronised With Voter's Card VIN by Globad(f): 1:10pm On Dec 17, 2020 |
BluntNigerian: Since we are in the era of synchronisation with the NIN number: For instance; BVN synchronised with NIN. JAMB synchronised with NIN. FRSC is seeking for the Driving License to be synchronised with NIN. Now, our phone numbers are undergoing synchronisation with NIN. What is then holding INEC to also seek for the synchronisation of the VIN (of our Voter's Cards) with the NIN too?? Good one. Start a hashtag #VoteWithNIN #DumpVotersCards |

ecolime: Bro, this is all a charade.
I personally feel these guys are only looking for an opportunity to fine the Telcos hugely. Telcos cashed out big time this year so NCC sef must chop.
Is it realistic to enrol over 80 million people in less than 200 centers within 2 weeks? The Tele-density of Nigeria is high and there is a still a pandemic.
Why not use BVN since most people have that already? How many people have BVN compared to those who have NiN? |

Fahdiga: Considering the antecedents of this present Junta, I wouldn't be surprised if they removes Obaseki through a kangaroo judgment but they should prepare to face backlash from the masses Did you read the facts of the case? It's not about any junta. PDP also wanted Obaseki prosecuted on the same issue in 2016 but the case suffered a setback and expired. The same PDP fielded him in 2020. Look at the facts and not let your political bias affect you. |

Authority1o1: Okay...
Aren't we done with this?
Osagie wants Obaseki to be cancelled out as if he is a better replacement. If Obaseki has done well so far, let the court, for the sake of the betterment of Edo, overrule the petition.
Obaseki might be crook, but definitely not as Ize-Iyamu.
Should the books be opened against Osagie, there will be reasons for his total disqualification. Then open the books against Ize Iyamu rather than say that the court should leave Obaseki |
Politics › Re: Most Almajiri In Northern Nigeria Are From Chad, Niger Republic – Ganduje by Globad(f): 6:21am On Dec 08, 2020 |
Arrewa: Fact...
90% of those Hausa speakers in the south claiming Nigeria are all from Niger republic.
I spend few days in enugu when I went for conference at UNN.
I was shocked that almost every Hausa speakers they're referring to northerners there are all Nigeriens.
And those guys are claiming Nigeria... Most of them even heve national ID card. Claiming Sokoto or kastina .
Majority of those people you are calling ndi Hausa are not Hausas. They're foreigners which Happens to speak Hausa because Hausa once dominated them before colonialism. They have their own language... Most of them can't speak their indegenous language any longer because Hausa language has become an official and general language in that part of the world.
An average Hausafulani man from northern Nigeria hardly travel to the south. Unless those in military, navy, civil servant and those that are into agro Bussiness.
Those Nigeriens are the ones enjoying one Nigeria! Even if you ask them... They will tell you that they're from North... They would never tell you that they're foreigners.
It's only we from the north that can easily identify them... By Their look... The Hausa they speak is quite different.
Niger is a very great country with abundant resources... But France and their wicked set of politicians would never allow them grow!
If you come to he north we have thousands of them doing menial job here.
Islam is paving way for them... The north see every African Muslims as our own.
It doesn't matter where you come from or the Tribe you belong to.
Sadly... It's now affecting us! Criminals from other countries now migrate to Nigeria to cause social vices.
Our leaders must wake up!! We must tighten our borders for now! To enable you tighten your borders well, also carry out a reliable census and let everyone have an ID. |

Politics › Re: Why Have Nigerians Abandoned Marina District In Lagos? by Globad(f): 8:29pm On Dec 03, 2020 |
Aconomist: It's senseless. With how high rents are in Lagos, why wouldn't someone just renovate the building and make some nice apartments that could easily rent for $2,000 to $6,000 a month? We like to blame government for everything, but reality Nigerians aren't thinking. We are just stangant people. If not for the lebanese, I doubt lagos would look much different from Ibadan in terms of a skyline. Can you pay $5,000 a month ($60,000 per annum) for a residential apartment and be wading through and struggling with traffic, noise, area boys, traders, etc? With that sum, you would get something far better elsewhere in terms of tranquility, beauty and security. |

Djamel: I love your fancy write up... However Is it necessary? The charge or penalty i mean ? What is it for? That I want to steal from my empty account or I want to steal from CBN? I can remember times I thought I had 20k in my account.... Without knowing I Spent 4k on something I didn't remember, I spent that money on... I walked to the ATM,pull out my debit card, Hit withdraw 20k.Then I get a transaction error kind of message and then get charged for it..... Is it fair on my part and many Nigerians I'm sure pass through such a couple of times? Yes! It's foolishness on my part, for not knowing I had used 4k out of the money... But these days... Money come and go.Always having many needs to meet, yet always short of meeting them. All I'm saying is, charging Nigerians for something this harmless, like transaction error, isn't a right move.No matter how big or tiny the charge might be May be it's the way the headline is but this does not affect the example you gave. |
