Politics › Re: Hundeyin Replies Akpabio: Authorise MTN, Airtel To Release Voice Records by Globad(f): 1:58pm On May 14, 2021 |
zabimaru: For all the doubters! Telcos already started recording conversations a long time ago, only that it wasn't mandatory so they can choose which period to record and which period not to as it was based on their discretion. This posed a challenge when the Telcos were ordered by a Court to provide recording as most of them couldn't hence the need for NCC to intervene.
It's like how an ATM operates with footage.
All calls are being recorded and archived currently, any Telco found wanting would be sanctioned accordingly.
However, getting a court to request a recording is not also an easy task as they have to scrutinize the reason, aim and relevance of the request properly. Records of daily calls is DIFFERENT from recordings of daily calls. The first is a mere log of calls while the second is an actual recording of conversations which is legally not allowed and operationally expensive. Imagine what it takes to keep the call recordings of 1 million subscribers in one hour. Also, if telcos start to do it, it will weaken or kill their business because people will lose confidence in them. |

ngadaAwo: honestly if war starts in this country the media is to be blamed. the way they manufacture news ehhh.
here are some facts you should know about the truck of ammo
I'm giving you first hand information because the incident happened right in front of my house. I visited my residence today even though when I arrived everything has been evacuated but let me get things straight.
1. the supposed ammo are cartoons of short gun cartridges and not automatic riffle bullets.
2. for those that knows the area it's just a 50 naira keke or trek to the biggest market in west Africa which is onitsha main market.
3. the goods are own by a licensed seller that sells short gun ammo to licensed private securities and vigilantes including private individuals licensed to carry arms.
4. this is not the first time such shipment arrives in main market if you're convenient with main market you'll be seeing such shipments on daily basis.
5. it's not a new thing to the police because the owner is a licensed seller. we have many of them.
mind you I got this information first hand because it was right in front of my house and fortunately I visited today from my unknown location to my town which is onitsha.
So my Anambra people no cause for alarm it's just a normal random accident that happens to trucks conveying shipments to main market. it happens regularly.

Christianity Etc › Re: Adeboye On Death Of Son, Dare: I Cannot Complain, Blame Or Question God by Globad(f): 9:38am On May 09, 2021 |
urchcoded: Fair enough. Even tho I don't celebrate anybody's death especially a good man but Why is it that Naija church people always believe that only them have monopoly of olodoness and mumuism?
Exmaple: When a Juju priest who claims he has power over death, loses his son at an early age. Church people will be saying: God has caught him, he thinks he can play God, he thinks this his juju nonsense that are from the devil will save his son. Jesus has showed him that he alone is God and he alone has power, his juju is rubbish, juju that he can't even use to save his son. . bla bla bla.
When a famous athiest dies or loses a loved one. Church people will be saying things like:
"It has just started, he hasn't seen anything yet, God was just looking at him, you can't mock God, we've been telling him that God will deal with him and he thinks we are joking, return to God or face more death, pains and disappointment in your life, your life will remain in crisis as long as you are without Jesus. You have no life without Jesus, his yeye belief is of the devil, God will surely deal with him more" bla bla bla.
Famous Pastor that always says he talks with God, drinks tea with God, tells people that the secret to long life is by paying tithes, tells people that they will never die early as long as they pay tithes, tells people that they will never bury their children when they pay tithes or believe in his God, claims he has the power to extend peoples lives amidst other yayaya yama yama talk loses son:
Christians will now start telling atheist and traditionalist to exercise caution and not mock the pastor because it's bad to mock the dead bla bla bla.
Why do you guys ALWAYS HATE THE TASTE OF YOUR OWN MEDICINE ? WHY ? The point you're making here deserves a separate thread. |
