Common sense tells us that people who have any strategy for making quick easy money hardly share their secrets with others. If all the people promoting this forex craze were making money in forex, they would be too busy to tell you and I abt it.Forex is real and indeed you can make good money in it. But for every one individual who makes money in forex, there at least 15 others who have lost everything. That is why it has always been the exclusive reserve of financial institutuions, professional money managers, hedge funds and mutual funds who can afford to lose a million dollars today, tomorrow and still come out on top at the end of the week simply because they have an inexhustible supply of money to recover their losses . The same is not true for individuals who have very limited resources to trade. No matter what strategy you employ, you are bound to make more losing trades per day or per week than winning trades and if u dont have funds to back you up when you are in the red, then margin calls wipe u out. Be warned! Forex trading is not the answer for unemployment. It cannot be a full time job for individuals. If your trading forex with less than $100,000, then you'll find urself in the poorhouse sooner than you think. Many lives have been ruined. We never get to hear their stories because they are too ashamed to speak out, |
Use their escrow services or make sure that the company is registered with alibaba for more than two years. If it says first year, then forget abt them. Also, google the comapany to see if there has been any fruad complaints against them. or better still, get an agent in China to get ur goods from the company and ship them to you. I know a reliable Yoruba guy resident in guanzhou if ur interested. |
@rabbits207: Search for bulk electronic wholesalers on ebay. Or check your yellow pages for Caprice electronics Inc. They are at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. I lost their phone number. I used to buy a lot of new and used electronic items from them. There are many used electronics wholesalers at the Brooklyn Navy Yard In New York. But like I advised the other fellow, its very hard to make a profit on items purchased in the US right now unless u hv your own retail outlet. If you hv ur cash at hand, then i suggest u take a trip to Dubai to buy New or used electronics at cheaper prices. Or if u have enough money and time, take a one or two weeks trip Shenzen, China. That is the electronics capital of the world right now. Also dont forget the issue of voltage(110v and 220v). Good luck. |
for Rabbits207: Call Impex in New Jersey. They are very reliable and cheap for shipping items from USA to nija. 732-698-9007-8 |
Hey buddy, unless u hv a retail outlet in lagos or abuja where u are going to sell ur laptops, you are probably going to lose your money and end up frustrated. The market for laptops is very very competitive and almos all the vendors import from directly from hong Kong, Dubai , singapore and china where prices are cheaper than USA. Aslo, yahoo boys and money launderers flood the market with very cheap prices. If U dont have ur own retail store, u are guaranteed to lose. I know, because I used to Bring laptop and pcs from the USA. That era is gone. ALL roads now lead to China. |
I am going to prophesy that Oyedepo will pick billions of more naira from the pockets of poor desperate Nigerians this year. |
If you hv N1m to N3m, then you can start next week. export is easy. drop ur email and I'll send you a proposal. Or you can read my post titled " invest in export business". |
Sorry, I disagree with the last poster. If U buy computer or computer parts from the USA to sell in nija, u will surely lose ur money. I used to be in it. Infact, there is hardly any product u can buy from th usa and make money in Nigeria. If you want to import, all roads lead to China. |
Call Impex in NJ. Their number is 732-698-9007-8. They are very good and reliable. |

Hello, I am in the food Business. I import Nigerian Food products into Canada and sell to African grocery stores all around Canada. I have about 30 well established retail customers. The products are always in demand. This business is very lucrative and is still one of the few businesses than can earn you 300-400% returns every 4 months. The products are Egusi, Ogbonu, Crayfish, Gari. Beans, Yam flour(amala) , knorr and maggie cubes, ukazi, bitterleaf and ugu vegetables, peppersoup spices, suya pepper etc. Nija provisions like golden morn, indomie noodles, etc. I also add hair products like xpression hair braids and weaves . I have been doing this successfully for abt 3 yrs now by air cargo. I am seeking an investor for a full 20ft or 40ft container. A 20ft container will carry goods worth about N2.5 to N3.5m. 40ft container will carry about N4.5m to N6m. The expected returns are as follows: a 20ft conatainer of these items can yield about $70,000(wholesale) in about 4 months. The 4 months period includes buying the products in nija(2 weeks), shipping to Canada(30 days). packaging, Selling the product and collecting payments(2 months). I can send a complete breakdown of the entire business including the buying cost and selling prices of all the items to any serious and interested investor. A small air cargo shipment of N1.250m(N900,000 and N350,000 for air frieght) can convince you. $23,000 returns within 1 month and half maximum. And 20ft or 40ft container thereafter. |

The products are in demand everyday and all year round. This business is very lucrative and is still one of the few businesses than can earn you 300-400% returns every 4 months. For example a 70kg bag of Egusi presently cost N45k at Oyingbo market in Lagos. After packaging and labeling, the same would yield $1200 at wholesale. The products are Egusi, Ogbonu, Crayfish, Gari. Beans, Yam flour(amala) , knorr and maggie cubes, ukazi, bitterleaf and ugu vegetables, peppersoup spices, suya pepper etc. Nija provisions like golden morn, indomie noodles, etc. I also add hair products like xpression hair braids and weaves . HEY NAIRALANDERS, I just wanna add my wo cents. Some might call it bad belle or whatever else. I have observed that the car market in Nigeria is greatly saturated and is actually a buyers market. In other words, buyers have the advantage. A lot of cars are actually cheaper in Nija than you would buy them in USA and Europe after shipping ang clearing charges are added. Yes , I mean what am saying. Lets say you want to buy a 2005-2007 Nisssan Pathfinder for example. Dealers in nija are asking N3.5m on average. The cost in USA is about $12K to $17. Shipping is abt. $1200 to $1500 and clearing is about N400k to N600K. You do the math. Now consider that if you have , lets say N2.3m cash in hand, I can gurantee that u can get this tokumbo car in Nija with a week or two of searching in Lagos.Yes. Try and see. Just target the car of your dreams, hold abt 60 % to 70% of the average dealer price in hand and then begin searching for your dream vehicle. I gurantee you will find with one to two weeks in Lagos. The reason is simple. There are so so many cars for sale in Nija and not enough buyers that some owners have to wait for six months, 1 yr and even two years to have their cars sold for a reasonable price. At some point, many owners will get frustrated and will need cash for emergencies, projects , debts and other financial commitments. In such situations , profit become secondary and sellers are willing to sell at cost or even at a small loss just to get soem cash, This is where you, the buy steps in to create a win win situation for both you and the seller. I just dont see any reason why anyone would want to buy a tokumbo vehicle abroad, ship it , and clear it and still think he or she got a good deal. The good deals are in Lagos. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa |
Nija, especially Lagos is aflush with cars , new, tokumbo and used and for every budget. i just can't understand why anyone would travel to Cotonu with all the inherent risks to buy a car and then drive or smuggle it into to nija. How much can anyone possible save to warrant so much risks. If cars are so cheap, why wouldn't the smuglers use their own money to buy and smuggle the cars into nija and then sell and make their big profits? It seems so dumb. Thats my opinion. |
