wow! ppl dey vex for here oo.
I have experienced both sides, i've dated a girl who had a proper job and lived low key in Abujaand was never demanding, things just didn' work out. on the other hand, i was in Abuja on business sometime ago and a freind took me to some bar.

Some chick who was there with a guy kept giving me "the look", as the guy go loo, trust sharp Lagos boy i walked up to her and asked to speak with her outside, i rapped her a lil' bit and let it drop that i was staying at Sheraton. I asked if she wanted to go back to my hotel with me, she said yes and asked to excuse herself from her date and also grab her bag. She turned round at the door and asked "How much are u going to pay me?' i was astounded, i thot i had been spitting game, I went on with it and asked how much she wanted, the babe said 25k, i said no way, i have far finer girls back in Lagos who would do me for free or at worst just for a good night out. I offered 5k, she hissed and promptly walked back into the bar.

Alas, i slept alone that night and wondered what kind of ppl pay these girls so much money, she had better be Agbani darego or Beyonce.

Lol. That's the great deception in this thing we call 'game'. Most of the time the so-called game is really not half as important as what we have to offer (money, 'levels', fine car, etc.). Even if she had agreed to go with you for free, the fact that you lodged in Sheraton - coupled with the other 'levels' itibits she saw/heard would have played a huge role, not just the superficial talk that most of us call game. The day I see a poor boy 'spit game' to a hot exposed city chick and take her home (on okada or Keke Napep) to his one room shack and have her eating out of his palm 'ontop nothing', then I'll know that 'real' game is alive and well in this materialistic country, lol. Here, half the game is having money or/and the things it can buy; otherwise all the empty 'sweet mouth' would only fetch a guy low class or green-horn chicks, not hotties. That's Naija for you. . .lets not get it twisted.

It is good you mentioned that you were staying at Sheraton, because it enabled the real motive for her wanting to follow you to come out into the open, just the way typical Abuja girls are.

Greedy and money-conscious! And to think we have some girls here who were justifying such behaviour.

I live in Abuja. And I'm better than a girl who lives in Abeokuta. Go figure.

All these people complaining, you get what you want. Some of the best females I know (Morals, good character and every good thing) live in Abuja. So where did their husbands/boyfriends find them??

Unfortunately, I cannot read through 9 pages of this post, but I get the gist. All these loose men with zero morals complaining like they are any better! Abeg jare, make we see road!

P.S: I do acknowledge that the "Abuja-girl Syndrome" does exist.

Chikena!

Cherechy:

I'm an Abuja girl through and through but not in the sense that it has been used throughout this thread. I have lived here 21 yrs and i know not every abuja chic is out for your money. I pity these men that come to abuja and think if they throw money around, chics will fall like flies. There are girls, then there are girls,

I recently escorted d secretary in our office to an INEC commissioners office in maitama. Mind u, i'm nt her friend, she recently got a new car, thanks 2 dis same commissioner, and being a learner needs someone in her passenger seat, cos of them VIO guys.
On getting there, despite d crowd waiting outside his office, he told his PA to bring us in. Lol.
Wen d man started eyeing me, n asking who i was, d chic i went with quickly told him 'this one is not like that, she's d bookish type'. Wow, i dnt want to tell u hw good i felt.

This chic i'm talking about has a well furnished apartment in Zone 6, uses two blackberry fones and recently got a car. What does she do? A secretary in a Law chamber.

Another day on a trip with her again, at d court of appeal car park, one mugu lawyer gave her a blackberry bold 2. Complete with d 80k receipt he bought it for, in d nylon bag.

As an aside, she usually tells me, that i'm wasting in abuja. Lol. And gives me gist of hw many of her friends she's hooked up wit big guys. Her clientele includes zenith bank managers, INEC comm, big lawyers etc. Does she evn have time to go to clubs n wiggle her Bottom? no. The new technique is, get a decent job, eg PA or secretary and then hook up with big men through d job.
Imagine d opportunity of meeting men as a secretary in a law chamber. Always filing this n that in court, serving court processes on large corporations n organisations, rich clients coming to d office etc

i'm not in anyway encouraging what she's doing but these girls abound in abj lots. But, not all abuja girls are like them. There r decent chics trying to ekk out a living, hopping green bus every evening and competing wit these same girls that storm abj in d name of NYSC thrice a year. Trying to manage on your salary and keep your head up. Not that u don't get these opportunities, but deciding to be firm in your principles.

BTW, our visit 2 d INEC comm's office ended wit him dashing us 20k for lunch. I remember her telling me on d ride back, that if he could dish out 20k just like that without knowing me, i could then imagine wat i'd benefit if i was bleeping d guy. Smh
even told me how he gave her 400k to make up d cash she had n get her car.

My being in abj this long has opened my eyes to a lot. And i tell u, half the guys here are jst pretenders. Probably have one rich friend, they all living off. Borrow his car, follow him to club and pretend it's your money that is being spent, take d chic to your friend's house, so she assumes it's urs, meanwhile that same guy is managing a one room apartment in one boysquarters in EFAB estate or asokoro or nyanya in filthy conditions.
The real abj guys with money dnt even have time for wat d poster here is narrating. And even if they do, they almost always have a steady girlfriend they cater for.
Those that go to club to spend money n pick girls in abuja are d ones just managing. Get money once in a while and club hop friday nyts lookimg for cheap lays. The girls in those club leave nyanya, mararaba, kubwa, deidei for maitama and asokoro weekends to seek men jst like d poster. They r abuja girls wannabe's. Dont let them spoil the good names some of us have tried hard to cultivate.

This is serious shocked shocked

Nope! Not because he bragged about his money. I've got mine too so I can't get carried away by a man's money! I just like d way he analysed everything and finished her. Guys dat have dough don't trip me, it's those who have intellect that trip me cos when money goes someday, d intellect remains forever and one can then use d intellect to control things. Got it?

@ topic,
If you guys had personalities to die for, then I believe Nigerian girls would have something to search for in a partner. Until then, money will reign.

Money has wings.

Rich today doesnt mean rich tomorrow.

People choose armed robbery and scamming as their occupations for a reason which is cash flow and bigmanism ie keeping up with the joneses.
