babakb: Do you know that Poland is part of Shengen zone? Do you know that you have 90 days every year to move within shengen zone freely? Do you know how many business connections you can make in Poland and the rest of Shengen zone? Do you know that after 7 years of living as a legal resident in Poland and ability to speak the polish language you can apply for citizenship? Do you know that poland is becoming an industrial hub for Shengen zone? Do you know that you can learn very important skills trade in Poland within a short time? Do you know that Poland has one of the best and affordable education in Shengen and EU zones?
I can go on and on, so fvck the CV, start your process now before it becomes difficult for Nigerians. Poland is like the Nigeria of Europe, considering their huge population, which is a very good economic index. I have been foot-dragging all the while, thinking about working for pensionable years in my current job, however, with these potentials lying ahead, I will definitely proceed with the process. Thanks for the ginger bro. |

Newbietraveller: There is no job guarantee as I was told. Anything can be gotten. To get a skilled Job is difficult.. I think someone I read here was a Nigerian Doctor who went there and got a Job as an Ambulance driver. So no chance of choosing one. Once person i know got picking mushrooms another got dispatch rider, some meet choppers, some scavengers etc.. so just none skilled jobs. It is well. These jobs can not be added to one's CV/resume. Anyways, there is dignity of labour, as long as money is earned. It is just an avenue to have a travelling experience |

Newbietraveller: Until I collect my paper in hand I no sure.. But please lets keep the charges talk aside... just read the thread all through, there is a guide as to how much is ideal. Also visit the ministry of Labor office website. The Job I got is Kitchen oriented.. It has been said that 400 Euros is the ideal charge. However, I saw 800 Euros as charges by some agents I saw on google. Did you choose your job option? Can I get job in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/production company? |

Newbietraveller: So today, I was sent confirmation for my 1 year work permit. They said it will be ready by 30.06.21
I have called the Office to confirm the application number and it has all checked out.
I will always keep updating till the end.
Please let us all share progress so that everyone can have hope and make progress..
Please this confirmation is for those who applied 1 year work permits. If u applied seasonal work permits before it was stopped 2 weeks ago, u cant have the proof of confirmation. Ask your agencies.
We will win.. Congratulations!!! This seems legitimate and prompt. Please how much were you charged and what is your job? |

Pertaining the bank balance, I hope you are working and earning salary at the moment, you can borrow cooperative money to top-up your account to 600k or more. You can also borrow from friends and relatives and return to them after your visa grant. Everything should work out fine. |

icontact: When I got my visa last year not sure I had up to 10k balance in my account. I just printed 6 months statement from my fidelity app. But was because I was moving to a while collar job. Same company I worked with in 9ja. So it is not a factor of how much you have in your account. And also the lady at the consulate is just to collect the required documents. Any questions she asks na just routine. Your visa decision is based on documents submitted as they will verify and check with the company who requested the work permit. Please let me know if there is vacancy in your Polish branch of your company. I hope they pay well. Thanks. |

DeParadise001: For those asking what I was asked. In general I'll say information about you. Nothing else. But try and study your documents very well.
Questions like
Your occupation Your hiring company name (In Poland) name call it. The address of the company. Distance of your accomodation to the company. Why you chose Poland. Departure date. And explain to them that you'll leave their country when the permit expires.
No go de tell them your plans to prolong your stay. No FEAR. God bless.
Please as an information, I wonder why people will already have their Permit and still be asking me what agent I used, I don't understand. We need to be moving forward. I also heard that Sergienko Lawyers are frustrating people ooh. People don stay reach 3, 4, 5 months no signs. A member here just told me that in my mail and he's saying that a girl here too was scammed by the people.
Anyone facing that challenge should inform others so that they don't face the same challenge. HELP YOUR BROTHERS.
Have a great weekend Congratulations once again bro. Please what were the terms of payment for the agent, was it prepaid, postpaid or instalmentally? How much were you charged by the agency? |

Tonnyb12: Source : https://punchng.com/passport-issuance-resumes-may-31-aregbesola/ Tell us the official price and make the payment possible online. Both renewal and new applications should be eased and only data capturing should require physical presence in your premises. This would prevent corruption of your officers and alleviate the stress on the applicants. |

DeParadise001: I want to use this opportunity to talk to some guys here. We're all male lemme not say men cos me I'm still a boy. We need to be understanding and always ready to switch in search of better chances. Even though I wasn't happy with what happened here with some members attacking each other here which will warrant we Nigerians taking millennium to love one another.
Go to Instagram and Facebook and Instagram, you'll see communities of people, Indians, Chinese, Philippines etc in Poland. This people are always there to help one another.
No matter how big you live in Nigeria, bro you have no right to talk bad about a Danfo conductor or if you're a banker in Poland, you shouldn't despise a menial labourer.
On the issue of replies, you have to know that many information many people voluntarily give you here, they got it from someone and many people giving you information are emotionally drained due to pressure of trying to get permit, verify and apply to Abuja coupled with the degrading security lapses in Nigeria.
Let's be understanding please. It's not easy for anybody. If you text someone he didn't reply you, exercise patience or talk to others, they may even hav more information than the person "ignoring you". I know how many times I emailed many members, including our my Boss Modupe without reply but later some replied and I got info from others too.
Let's come together and help each other. Nothing de for life. We'll all succeed.
And please, soon I'll be leaving to Poland, anyone that wants to ask anything, PLEASE PLEASE drop the question here, I'll try and reply, if I no reply, someone else can help.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS Congratulations bro and I wish you success all along your new journey. Please, what job were you offered and how long (hours/day and years) will you be working? How long will the permit be valid for one to work? Is it renewable? How much were you charged for the work permit and how long did it take to be processed? I know you may not want to write the agent/agency's name here, but I would be glad if you can be reached through your email via Nairaland private messaging. Thanks so much. |

I am yet to tell HR because of this cold feet. I have been in Qatar for 2years now and I think its best I move since I cannot marry and bring wify here.
The German company is paying for my flight and accommodation for 2 weeks but I am still having cold feet. The process is cumbersome.. I just realised I need health insurance to make this move. Where can i get such in Nigeria. Congratulations!!! Please share the process involved in applying and securing the job? It's normal to have such feeling when one is about to leave a comfort zone for an uncharted terrain. Do not hesitate to move. You can ask your employer about the health insurance. |

Lithuania.
Estonia.
Latvia.
Through study route with valid documents then she can move to bigger EU countries with good economy (Germany, Netherlands, Brussels).
Good luck. How easy is obtaining visas and travelling to these countries? Do they have embassies/consulates in Nigeria? Are good jobs available there as well? |

Prettiepearlz: Hi, not all provincial nomination requires job offer. Some provinces pick from the pool. What's your NOC? Check to see if it's in demand in any of the provinces. Yes for the federal skilled worker, you are too old but that shouldn't stop you. Look out for provinces, you can also consider French. But look out for the provinces first before considering French. Wish you all the best. Thanks so much for this info. I have a Bachelor of Pharmacy and a MBA. I've been really confused whenever I try to read for IELTS, whether to write the general or academic, because of the uncertainty of the surest route to Canada. Thanks once again sister. |
