I applied on 27th October ( Priority Visa)
Biometrics for myself and dependents done on 2nd Nov.
Non - straightforward mail for me, my hubby and my son - 4th Nov. ( My daughter did not get the NSM)
Non-straightforward mail followed by mail requesting evidence of my work history or study in the last 3 years, same day.
Decision Mail - 15th Nov.
Passport Collection mail - 15th Nov.
Passport collected for all of us 16th Nov.

VISA application: October 19 -20
Biometrics: Abuja TLS October 26 (standard) (walk in for the 2 children. We couldn't get the same date for them)
Non straight forward mail: November 1st (4 of us)
Request mail for more documents: November 1st (main applicant only)
Requested documents submitted: November 4th (main applicant)
We waited for one week and nothing happened we had to send paid mail asking for progress of application.
Paid mail: November 11th
Decision mail : November 12th (about 20 hours after sending paid mail)
Dispatched from TLS on Friday 12th (same day as decision mail)
We waited anxiously for DHL to deliver but they didn't because of weekend.
We got our visas yesterday evening finally.

It wasn't an easy wait o. If you have money, pls pay for priority because High BP is real o. We endured a lot during the 3 weeks wait.
This journey started early 2020 and I have been reading this thread everyday religiously.
I must thank everyone on this forum for all the helpful contributions. I gained a lot.
My advice is for everyone to try and read far and wide, use Google a lot and ukvi sit (gov.uk) has almost all the information you require as well as your school website and course page. Don't also shy away from asking when you hit a brick wall too.

You can do everything all by yourself and it is far better because you are sure of what you submitted.

Another piece of advice: if you come across any information you feel might be relevant to you during the process of application, screenshot and keep it in your picture gallery. It is better that way because sometimes this information may be difficult to search for when you need them most.
Over this 2 years I have over a thousand screenshots from nairaland alone.

I am that person that uploaded my degree cert instead of waec cert, as I didn’t realize on time that my CAS stated waec not degree certificate.
Despite this, God still showed up for me and my family.

Submitted VAF for me and my family on 4/11/21 (priority visa)
Did biometrics on 5/11/21
Got non straight forward mail for my dependents (husband and 2kids) on 9/11/21
Didn’t get any for myself
Got collection mail for all of us on 12/11/21
Visa granted
It can only be God

I and my husband did the application ourselves. We also opted for self upload. All the information we got was from this platform. And we r so grateful for all the valuable insight & info this platform provides. Thanks to everyone. I pray you trusting God for yours, shall share ur success story soon��

My visa was approved the following day I sent the documents.

God has been good! I’m on my way to work and decided to share this post to encourage someone to believe, be intentional and put in the hard work! My husband and I came in July to the uk, barely a month he got a professional job as an electrical design engineer. 3 months after I got a professional job as well as a mechanical design engineer. My company allowed me work 20 hours till after my masters then I can work full time with them. Wow can you believe it! I got a job while still at Uni. Infact 3 months at uni. It’s only God!
It wasn’t easy but God did it and He will surely do it for you!

I found out that my course Msc In International Business in huddersfield is no longer accredited with Chartered Management Institute, while the related course Msc Management with International Business & Msc Management are both still accredited. I already gotten an offer which I have accepted and conditions met except initial deposit, which deadline is Dec 3. Please gurus in the house I have emailed the school about this but what do you guys think. I need that CMI for career progression. Should I go on with the offer I have with the mindset I change the coursewhen I get to the school in uk.

No, if your account was opened with valid ID card

Valid ID and utility is applicable to all banks, most account that witness this are opened with invalid ID like student's ID card. Fidelity bank usually do this to all their savings accounts even when opened with valid ID card.

They call everyone on the list. Some that have earlier appointments wouldn't be available yet, so you'll enter with the early birds and do your thing.

You can print the email. However, they already have their own list except there are issues of confirmation of date.

BRP mail received - 25th Oct

I became worried, cos for some reasons, I didn't want the delay NSF will cause. But I refused to panic cos I knew I did everything right. There was no previous visa denial. I felt it was the bank. So on 16th Oct, I called the bank. They confirm that enquiry was made by UKVI on the account on the 13th and they replied them same day. I sent a paid mail to UKVI on the 19th and they confirmed decision has been made on the applications. I waited until 22nd Oct yet applications were still @DMC, so I emailed them again. On the 25th Oct, I received their BRP letters in an email. Next day I received their collection mail. Thank you Jesus.

I will keep giving all glory to God, cos It has all been by his grace.

To all who are awaiting for their Visas. Do not panic as long as you did everything right. Trust God. It will end in praise.

Not so short that they now desire you! Except for those in health field, and of course there's a condition - pass the exams convincingly, then start the job hunt. If you are lucky to get all these done within 2 yr post-study period, good for you! Else, find your way back to square one!
