Omo hardluck its not easy to hear such beating n sametime to browse on nairaland respect to u,unfortunate u committed an offence for them to carry u to barrack, soldiers are not that wicked the way civilians reason n have that perception of them.
if u didn't committed any offence no soldier will punish u just like that excepted u committed.eg on nairaland we have mods,no mods will ban u just like that excepted u committed an offence on nairaland.
If a soldier stop u as the op said keep ur cool and be respectful in your conversation n body language bt if want to proof that u know your rights n know soldier work pass the soldier then u go see otherwise and trust me no lawyer can save u.

NYSC is a service to the nation. So are people allowed to choose where to serve? If yes, then it is becoming more interesting.

If you a female, go to Kano and enjoy being called a Harlot when you wear your NYSC kit

In as much as i condemn the woman's action, you can never tell what the kid did to push the woman to that level of anger.

Children can be very stubborn at times, go and watch the movie "ITORO". I am in no way applauding the woman's action. Different people's have different anger management.
Unrestrained anger is bad.

it was meant for them both to die. Fate
May not be true but some people are wicked even at death. My friend told me of a woman whose father told not to attend his funeral but she foolishly disobeyed and went for the burial. She was stung by an insect as she alighted in front of d father's compound and died after a week.

A wicked world.

according to ur story, whose fault? he should have waited to explain to them instead of running. If you are to be the policeman, what would you assume? Meanwhile, RIP to the dead.
T police man might have acted on impulse, that doesn't justify the action.

I don't wish them evil but considering the Nigerian Police Force, payment of entitlements has always been an issue.

That notwithstanding, their mother should have endured instead of commuting suicide. They may eat better meals as orphans but then.....

I noticed similar thing in my brother's house. Cooks after coming from market, washes beans for moi moi, washes clothes for a non working wife (house wife). I decided to have my peace since he has not complained to me.

At times they do it for the sake of peace in their home.
Watch them & don't interfere yet until you have a genuine reason to vibrate like the day the opportunity came for me.

The worst be say once these women call their husband "honey" they start behaving abnormally. Papa Emeka no fit try am now. Nna na there you go see African man level. grin

It is sad becos our women practically turned their husbands' brain to that of a goat to remain in marriage while they have other men outside. There is nothìng you can do about it, not even fasting and prayer. Just ask His grace to be upon your brother so that he does not die before his time. Ojindu, are you very sure your wife is not doing same to you? I doubt it.
Am smelling something here grin

Fulani this Fulani that. I don't hold any brief for the Fulanis but the rate at which many attacks is reported to be caused by the Fulanis of recent is so appaling. Whether confirmed or not, the Nigerian media both online and offline accuse the Fulanis. This is bad
Just pray they don't come to your village. We chased them out of my village years back when one of them raised a class against my mum for cautioning them against destroying our farmlands. We are not anti-fulani, my late father though an Igbo man, speaks and read in Fulani.

Those people are heartless.

Is raping of females a crime in Islam? They use it often as a weapon against the infidels. Though I think it's a lie but they enjoy it when Christians are raped by their terrorist husbands.

I & my hubby have been in this train for 15yrs and it is still moving.

I won't tell you that it was easy in the beginning. We had issues initially because he allowed his siblings to intrude much into the marriage. What with 5 adults and young adults living with us?

We have come of age and like old wine tastes better. We've learnt to stick together & be for one another. We love, respect and support one another. Though we live thousands of miles apart but infidelity has never & will never be an issue between us. I have his trust even in d earlier years when I was Ajala because of my job, he had no doubt about me. He will be with the kids while I will be away for a month or so. He also have my trust.

I learnt to go along with his dreams & aspirations. We are both FCAs with masters in different fields. God blessed us with 5 kids who had not witnessed any fight between us. We settle our quarrels without allowing it get out of proportions even if I want to drag issues.

I give my hubby the credit for taming me because I stubborn ghan ghan but for away match count me out.
