Ursino: I wash all my pads before tying them inside a black and translucent nylon bag. I have heard a lot about some weird things people do with women's used pads. In secondary school then, a fellow student opened up on her role in a cult group. Her mission was to go about picking people's used pad for their god/master. Thank God she confessed and was delivered. So friends, beware! Things are happening. Wash and flush off your blood, then you can dispose the pad properly. People are really evil |

TheBossLadyK: For me I put mine in the toilet or the suckaway that is the best place to put it I use to flush mine also, but I stopped because the last house i stayed, my pads blocked the sewage system and they had to call a plumber who had to bring out all the pad I ever used since i entered the house, to say the least it was embarrassing and since then I stopped flushing and throwing it in the soakaway is not possible becos the soak aways are all sealed |

I tap into your testimony, am really hoping on God to bless me very soon with a better job with good working conditions, a place where i can grow and develop myself. dazzle101: I always hoped my first topic on here would be one where I eventually share this testimony!! Alas, here we are, it is finally dawned!
Couple of months back, I had commented on a post about how I quit my job cos of the hitches I had to pass through in the name of working in a bank!!!
Anyways all past now, today I have been made an even better offer and I'm just here to put out a word of encouragement or two:
- if u ever feel choked, if you ever feel the job is working for you no more, no value is being added to your life, you're not shining like the star you feel you should, the job conditions are becoming life threatening and above all no clear cut career path or destination ur headed for and if u as an outlier do no want to see urself being just the same in a space of years, then by all means, take a leap of faith, take a bold step, do the needful, make a decision n stand for it! It might be a tough one considering our Nigerian scene but I know this; all things worketh for the good of them who believe... Never stop believing and never give up hope u'd find an even better deal cos u eventually will... just trust in God, cos with Him nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible...
I wish all the very best and thanks to all the mods and everyone who makes it a point of duty to post genuine job adds on here...
Thank you Seun Osewa for this forum.... It has helped lives... |

niggi4life: In those days our Mothers carry what i know as Hand Purse, very small and light, I still remember what my mum had in her purse. 1. One small eye pencil
2. One red lip stick
3. One small container of talcum face powder
4. Handkerchief
5. One small mirror and
6... Well Folded 50kobo and One naira Notes (which i get to steal sometimes when she gets back from an outing)
But now, u see Girls carry a BAG that can contain a Full Grown Matured He-Goat and you wonder what is always inside... I was so curious to find out one day, so when Angela came to my place some years ago, i opened The Almighty Bag and i was surprised that as Big as it looked with so many openings, there was absolutely nothing relevant(at least for me) What i saw included
1. One Big mirror(Almost same size with the one we hang in the bedroom)
2. 4 Different types of facial powder
3. Lipsticks of various colors,, (i counted 15)
4. One broom stick, about the size used to make Ewedu (I still dont understand why she carried this)
5.7 different colours of pants and One extra Bra
6. Toothbrush, tooth paste and bathing Sponge and sanitary iPads
7. Different types of make up( i just didn't recognise their names, they were too much and too colourful)
8. Passport photgraphs and also phone chargers, (Pin mouth charger for nokia, Iphone charger and BB charger )
9. I saw a Wallet inside the bag so i opened the wallet and hoping to see what normal wallet usually holds but.............
10... When i opened the Wallet, i found "NO Money" inside but scattered sticks of toothpick with one faintly used Chewing stick What is broom doing inside a lady's handbag? The toothpick inside wallet part got me laughing so hard..I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING. |

glowzy: Weekend is that time of the week we all look forward to and can't seem to hold ourself from rushing out of the office the minute the clock strike
on the closing time....TGIF.
Anyways Its been a long week, and even till today 29th day of the month it has not ring bell for some employers to pay the deserved monthly
salary.
Somborry must enjoy the weekend salary or no salary, after all you don't have to pay visit to Silverbird cinema, Shoprite, Spa, Salon, Garden to
have a great refreshing weekend. Here are fun things you can do without spending a dime.
1.Exercise-first activity on your saturday to-do list after waking up from
the long saturday-harmattan induced sleep to observing your morning devotion.
There can never be a better time than this to burn out the accumulated
calories packed from eating Iya Basira food during the week.
Early work resumption time and late home coming due to the unavoidable
traffic does not give one enough time to exercise before and after work.
Exercise can be fun and relaxing when accompanied with music, and
de-stresses both your body and mind while giving you a trim and shapely
look for the new week.
-Dance the salsa, kukere, etighi, makkosa whatever rocks your boat for
5 minutes this is to stretch and prep up the muscle for what comes after.
-Follow with 15 mins of cardio exercise like jogging on a spot, skipping
imaginary rope, this burns out fat, keeps the blood flowing, and eliminate
waste products thru sweating.
-Tone and trim your body with 15 mins of muscle building and weight training -
squats, planks, press up, push up, lunges firms up targeted parts of the body
-Flatten and tighten up your stomach muscle with 15 mins of abs work-out,
spread out your mat or blanket now ready do the side crunches, leg raise,
squat side twist, sit-up.
-Stretch out your muscle for 5 mins, you will feel exhausted in a good way at
this point and really sweating, refill on water...not cold water if
possible have a warm cup of green tea perfect for fat blasting and don't
forget to feed on a protein base diet to build up muscle.
2. Organise all the week's clutters - shoes, clothes and make-up items
littering your space, clean up the room...spread your favorite clean
bed sheet...spray room with your favorite air freshner
(vanilla smell takes me to cloud 9) hang up your window drape to
let in natural lighting into the room....soften the atmosphere with a
cool music playing softly (my fav is KennyGee).
Pick up a really funny novel....relax read and laugh out to your
heart's content after all its Saturday, you won't realize how
fast the time is running while you are having a good time

Every one who just finished NYSC should expect this scam, they get your personal info from the corpers batch book with your pix, phone number, name and location of outgoing corp member, using this they make it seem like they are your ex corper friend. I also experience something similar to this while I was still searching for Job after my youth service, I happened to be among family members whom i opened up to about what was going on, they advised me not to pay any money to anybody that it was a scam. |

1/2 cup of ogbono - 200 (the type that draws very well is more expensive but little of it is enough)
Iru - 20
crayfish - 50
Cameroun pepper -50 (you only need quarter of it, keep the rest to spice your indomie or for another day's soup)
Oziza leaf - 50
Bitter leaf - 50 (it leaves a bitter-sweet taste when you drink water while eating)
Beef - 300
stock fish - 200
Dried catfish - 200
Pomo - 100
know maggi - 10
palm oil - 50
1 mudu of Gari - 120
you still have up to 100 left as change |

Aside facial features, body shape, the hair of a woman is also used as determining factor for rating her beauty and its good to see that recently an improving number of women are realising and embracing the beauty of their natural hair. But natural hair care products and natural hair salon maintenance cost a buck and most times discourage intending afro-naturalista,like my friend would say "natural hair maintenance no be beans" (meaning natural hair is expensive to maintain). How about the coily tangling texture of natural hair can leave one with headache, fustration and an unkempt appearance if effort, time and resource(good hair products and good salon cost) are not put into hair-care. Afro-natural hair sisters working in Corporate Organisation will understand better the feeling of panic attack on sunday evenings when hair is not in good corporate condition for the new week. It also leaves one wondering how ladies with long silky and voluminous Afro-hair maintain their hair. Read on http://ebonytalknaija..com.ng/

Business › Factors Affecting The Cost Of Setting Up A Business In Nigeria by glowzy(op): 10:14am On Jan 13, 2016 |
By Steve Azuka Sunday, December 20, 2015 Doing Business in Nigeria is not easy and it may even get harder considering recent events, the devaluation of the nations currency, the gradual drop in crude oil price which is greatly affecting the nations economy, and the incoherent policy of the present administration towards the development of SME's in the country, this article will try to explain the factors that influence the start-up capitals of small businesses in Nigeria. 1.National Economy: Businesses operating within a Nation will be affected by the nations economy, if inflation is high in the nation then the cost of doing business in that country will increase because with high inflation comes an increase in the cost of raw materials that is needed by small businesses. just like other developing Nations Nigeria inflation rate is high rising from 6.8% in January to 8.7% in October 2015. This mean that SME owners will have to pay more for raw materials in order to keep their business going. When running business in a country where there is rising inflation business owners are faced with the uncomfortable dilemma of either increasing the cost of their product and services or accepting a reduction in profit and interest from sales. 2.Lack of Infrastructure: The lack of good roads, electricity, water, communication, internet facility and other basic infrastructure. Every business needs at least one or all of this infrastructures to function properly so in a situation where this is not readily available in the country or at your business location you may have to expand your business start-up capital to make provisions for this basic infrastructures, take for example if you were not planning on buying a generator set before you may need to make arrangement for that when planning to set up your business in Nigeria because of the very poor electricity distribution in the country. If you are setting up a business that is reliant on constant supply of water you may have to make private provisions for that too, and of course if your business will need the use of internet connection then you will have to make private plans for that while calculating your start-up capital.
