I also live in the UK and considering surrogacy but my concern is how to bring the baby here. There are several hospitals and agencies that offer surrogacy in Nigeria and I have contacted a few of them including St Ives, Nordica, AB10/fertigold, meet the surrogacy mothers et c.

Also there is a lady I'm following on tiktok who lives in the UK and did surrogacy in Nigeria ( handle is lifewithpatuchi) and she is sharing her surrogacy journey but she is yet to get her baby's document the last time I checked. You may find helpful tips on her page.

Honestly, na better thunder go fire some account officers, they are very very useless and part of our national crisis, they are frustrating retail investors from investing in treasury bills and other fixed income, they will play every trick in the book to delay or convince you to fixed your money in their useless deposit..

I am going to the village right now, to report some of them to my village people, some account officers will not see 2026, their own is getting too much....

Good morning, I’ve just come across your comment and I might have fallen for the same trick. My investment attained maturity yesterday and I reached out to my account offer to go through what the rates are and as well as re investing; he immediately responded;

His job is on the line and there is pressure to close the year well. He pleaded that I delay the investment till early next year or late December. He also mentioned Investment rates are usually lower towards the end of the year. And that he would advise that I invest the money around the end of the month or early January.

Is this a trick; He’s just been assigned as my account officer and yesterday was the first time I communicated with him.

I would appreciate if anyone is able to share their experience so I’d know what I’m getting into!

Any information would really be helpful please. I did my first IVF in UK and it wasn’t successful, I then had another one in Lagos which wasn’t successful as well. However for the second one in Lagos I paid for two cycle. I am considering going for the second cycle as I still have frozen embryos, but then I’m considering exploring surrogacy. Hi everyone, My account officer has just sent me a message that my TB is successful, I have also had confirmation email from my bank, he has however re invested the interest. This was not the plan, nor was it stated in the request email I sent to the bank through him. I am upset as to why he has done that without consulting me or asking if I wanted the interest investment or paid to me. During one of our calls I mentioned to him that once successful I should be credited the interest as I need it to sort out something this week. My wife's graduating in June/July and I wanted to check what her chances is as regards visa approval. I spoke with someone and they advised, she needed Six months bank statement for visa application, I'm not too sure how it works, I feel like we are covering her expenses and would be taking care of her while she's here, she earns 150,000 monthly and I have been told the salary is too small and it won't fly! First off, what's Ur current situation in the UK? Are u guys/a spouse schooling or working there at the moment or on holiday? Are u planning to apply to the US from within the UK or coming back to Nigeria to apply? Are u professionals and what kinda jobs are u into in the UK (if any)

Can u get jobs in the US from the UK and use that to apply or do the companies u work for in UK (if that's the case) present u as intra-company transferee to the branch or HQ in the US thereby qualifying for L1/L2 visas?

Or do u want to travel there on a visit (B1/B2 visa) and end up staying (Japa-nese)? The doctor Ur talking to can help if he has an establishment and willing to do all the wahala/trouble of convincing DOL (Department of Labour) that in the whole US, there is no one that can do that job. If not, he can only support u emotionally and materially (cash).

So many questions needing answers.

You can use either account for yourself since the money in her/your account is enough to cover what you need and meets the 28-day rule.

Good afternoon everyone. I have a question, my wife and I are applying together. And we have our proof of funds in both account. But the Thing is, on the 8th of December, someone advised I transfer my own proof of funds to her account which I did, before then and until now she has always had hers own money in her account which is past 28th days already and can be printed anytime. Although I still have money in my own account which can cover for my proof of funds and it’s past 28th days as well. The money I transferred to her which will be sufficient for us to use her own account to apply matures 6th of January. Here’s where I need to make a decision, I got date for biometric 4th of January and she got hers 10th of January. If I wait until 10th of January to do a walk in with her. We would be able to submit her own account only and not have to need mine but if she does a walk in with me THen we’ would have to submit both account, please guys advise me on what to do. Good day everyone, my wife is the main applicant and we intend to submit our application next week. I’m confused on the POF, reason being. She’s had 13.2 million in her account untouched for over a month, and about two weeks ago. I sent her 4.5 million just so the money would cover for me being her dependant. So the total money she has is 17.7M. Although I have money of my own as well in my personal account which covers dependant, matured that’s also over 28 days. My question is while applying, can we apply together or it’s advisable she apply first then later I submit my own application cause the Extra 4.5M I sent her wouldn’t have matured for me next week.
