No atheist on nairaland. Those who are claiming " i am an atheist" are not really sincere, they have conscience that is always giving them the second thought. As far as i am concern, anybody can claim to be an atheist on nairaland, but inwardly it is another thing entirely. When things are moving on well, they are always quick to say " i did it through hardwork and scientific reasoning " but if there is a big problem, that is beyond them, they will quickly remember God. Has anyone ever heard of D.I.Y? D.I.Y means do it yourself. MFM is a do it yourself ministry, where your hands are trained to war and fingers to fight spiritual warfare. Atimes, You do not need to go to the church, you can always do personal deliverance, YES, it is possible. This way, nobody will collect money from you. If that is what is making you think they are fraudulent. Another thing is that, it is only God that make the deliverance to be possible, if you pray and God said No, what are you going to do? Nobody has any right to charge for deliverance, if they do, then it is no longer a deliverance process, but a deception. The disciples had already become a follower of christ, they are practically candidates of heaven, but to sit on the right and the left hand of Jesus was not yet determine, because the Kingdom had not yet come, that is why Jesus said" it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared". Only God could decide. It is also in harmony with the second coming of our Lord Jesus christ, Mark 13:32." But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no,not the angels which are in heaven, neither the son, but the father" which means that The father had certain rights that the son did not have. The second statement had already been explained by Joagbaje, you may not undestand, the paradise here is the one in the lower part of the earth, not the one in the third heaven, it is true that if one went into this paradise where the righteous went before christ captured them and took them to heaven, he would also go to the paradise in heaven. The truth is that you can learn a great lesson from those people that have smoked marijuana before, and you have seen their various contributions.
One thing is clear, you need what we call spiritual purging of your spirit, soul and body. This is only possible, if you can surrender your life to JESUS. What is life? Life is full of trouble. Life is a battle field. You cannot run away from challenges. Job said" man that is born of a woman is of few days, full of trouble" Job 14:7. Now, tell me, what are we living for? To eat, drink, marry, have chidren, build houses, ride the latest car. what else? You can never be satsified in this world. Even if you are so rich as Bill gate. Money does not give you everything. Money can give you mansions, fame and the rest, but money can not buy peace and sound health. If death knock at your door, you can not give Mr. Death money to bribe him. It is not possible. You see, people do so many things to acquire wealth, they steal,kill, rob, lie, forge, cheat,just to be rich. Then what happen at the end of the day, the money they made, now turn back to bite them like a serpent. So, what is the meaning? VANITY UPON VANITY. Everything is completely useless. Even if you make the money in a righteous way, that does not stop you from encountering problem. That is why the last chapter, the last two verses of the book of Ecclesiastes said: LET US HEAR THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER: FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN. Anybody, i repeat anybody that neglect so great salvation offered to us by God though our Lord Jesus christ, has come into this world in vain. What shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeit his soul? The day of death for those that rejected the great salvation, is the beginning of sorrow, as soon as they die, they have started another phase of punishment, but for those who cherish the great salvation, it is a day of Joy in heaven. This is a good question. Prophets are custodians of God's secret. Amos 3:7 " Surely the Lord will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." My brother, there are people in Nigeria, that have already seen the future events of year 2012. Predictions may be accurate but prophecy reveals more and it is always accurate. if we have leaders that are wise, these people should be chosen to be among the members of the advisory council. This way, before Boko haram plant their bombs, the true prophet of God would have seen it and raised alarm, because one of the responsibilties of the prophet is to be a WATCHMAN. Ezekiel 3:17" son of man, i have made thee a WATCHMAN unto the house of isreal: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me." The question i want ask is that; was there not a prophecy on the eve of 2011, that this current bombing will happen in the year 2011? The answer is a sounding YES. ( some of their prophecies are coded for some reasons, except you have a great insight, you may not understand those prophecies). Men of God from various churches gave prophecies concerning the events of 2011. It is now the responsibility of our leaders to ask questions from the true prophet of God for solutions. Alas! It did not happen. I may be wrong. The reverse is usually the case. In the bible, it was the king that inquired from elijah or elisha, but nowadays, the men of God prefer to go to Aso rock. I stand to be corected. I am not blaming those men of God, they may have a good reason , but what benefit will such visitations be without giving the Government a permanent solution to the current crisis. The problem of fake prophecies are also there. I believe prophecy is not a rumour but in every rumour there is an iota of truth. The Government should watch out for such prophecies for the coming year, and seek the opinions of those prophets whose prophecies are always accurate for a permanent solutions to this recurrent crisis. No, we should BE SOBER. Yesterday, i saw one or two Redeemed churches holding crusade, this is what we should be doing. I got home late yesterday from where i went for an Evangelism crusade. Christians seem to have forgotten that we are not of this world, our citizenship is in heaven. Seek first the kingdom of God. Let us celebrate christmas in a way that will please the Lord. God can use anybody, anything at any point in time. He is sovereign, you cannot say, this is how you want him to move. Paul was speaking to women that were not walking in the doctrine of the Apostle, the same new testament, Acts2:17-18, you will see how God promised to pour his spirit on all flesh, it says "your daughters shall prophecy". The moment you begin to hear from God, progress begins in your life. It is a remarkable day in your life, when you can discern the voice of God clearly,plainly and on daily basis. The truth is that we are created to fellowship and talk with our creator. As christians, we are in a better postion to hear from God. Hearing God's voice does not come automatically. The reason is that our Adamic nature is born deaf to the voice of God. What we need to know is that the principle of hearing from God has to be learnt. In fact, the only way to all God's blessing is hearing and obeying his voice. Let us examine these vehicles of divine communication. 1. The Bible; 2timothy 3:16 2. Dreams; Genesis 20:6 3. Annointed messages; it conveys the mind of God. 4. Annointed counselling Exodus 18: 14-23. 5. Conscience; Your conscience the policeman of your soul, approves you, condemn you, judge you, guide you, convict you 2 corinthian 5:11.

In my group in the church we have similar problem concerning a particular sister with the stigma of barreness. We keep on encouraging her, we told her to go for higher couselling, she did. The problem was still there. There is always a way out. We cleaved on the mercy of the living God. MERCY, MERCY, MERCY is a powerful word. God said" i will have mercy on whom i wil have mercy" it is a sovereign declaration. One is only entitle to it, if you can be merciful to other, the book of mathew says: he that show mercy will obtain mercy. Mercy is needed when we are guilty and the enemy is using it as a legal ground, for hindering our prayer, We should combine it with fasting and prayer and sow a battle seed into God's kingdom and let us see the movement of the hand of God. There are battles and there are battles, strange battle require strange prayer. Mysterious problem require mysterious prayer.At this jucture, i would like to recommend this book PRAYER RAIN by Dr. D.k Olukoya. It is panacea for all problems. Se.x is more than what we can imagine. It means what i have, i give to you, what you have i take. It is a spiritual transaction, that lady knew what she was looking for, and she took it. Virtues are exchanged during se.x. It has to do with soul. During se.x the every part of your body take part in the action. Your spirit, soul and body are all involved. Remember, we are warned in the bible that every other sin has no great penalty like fornication and adultery, anybody that committed this sin, has sinned against his own soul. It could lead to instant death. The only approved se.x by God is one man, one wife in a holy wedlock. A man of God told us in a christian conference how the herbalist told a barren woman that the only way to have her own child is to touch the private part of a particuar male child and used it to rubb her belly, that way, she is guaranted a child. How did it happen. A neighbour confided in her to take care of her baby while she proceeded to the market. This woman look left and right to make sure nobody was watching she did it. Immediately this was done, the spirit of lust entered into the life of the baby. It took about 3 days of fasting and prayer for the baby that has now become a pastor to be delivered from this evil spirit of lust. My advise to everybody on this thread is to watch the movement of our chidren, baby or adult. Star hunters are looking for stars to steal from careless chidren. @ joagbaje, many christians failed to know that the children of the generous man will never know sorrow, the same way we have generational blessing, afflictions and poverty are also generational. We need to know that givers always get, and keepers always loose. Fasting and prayer are very effective in spiritual warfare, the question is: what are you going to plant on the farmland you have cleared? Prayer and fasting are also good for those people that are facing strange problem, but it will be an additional warfare tactics to go out of your way and be a blessing to other. Moreover,some christians give what they do not need, they give out of plenty, while they still have more in their bank accounts. I have shared this before, i will share it again. A man of God in Nigeria gave this testimony during his sermon. In one of his missionary journey abroad, a white woman came to him and told the man of God that her husband has been having this suicidal thought, the white woman said in her husband family, the father died of suicide, the greatgrandfather also died of suicide, and now her husband has been entertaining the thought of suicide, he would take fork, knife just to kill himself,she had to be watching him. The man of God told her to bring her husband. She brought her husband to the man of God, man of God told the husband to first surrender his life to christ, the husband did, then the man of God gave him some prayer point to pray, while the man of God left him to attend to other people. After sometime, the husband scream" i have seen him, i have seen him" The man of God rushed back to where the husband was praying, what happened, what did you see? The white man said" i saw Jesus, he opened my brain and brought out a rope and closed it" the man of God observed that the look on his face that was gloomy had suddenly changed to joy. The white man said, after the spiritual rope was removed from his brain, all the evil thought of suicide disappeared. In conclusion, there is every possiblity that this evil thought can be traced back to the sins our great greatgrandfather had committed that is now having a stronghold on anyone that want kill himself , therefore, deliverance through the blood of Jesus is the ultimate solution. It is normal to feel like this, but i will say when it comes to the issue of marriage, you have to be extra careful so that you will not rush in and rush out. This way, it becomes abnormal to be desperate. You will never know how lucky you are until you are married. It is an abnormal thing to enter into an ancient institution called marriage without contacting the creator of this institution. I mean the God of new beginning. The ancient of days. The i am that i am. The one who know the beginning and the ending. He is the one who can determine, how far you will go in life. You see, the heart of man is desperately wicked who can know it, so says the Bible. Do you know that you can marry your enemy? God forbid! God is the only one who can see what is hidden in the heart of men. Men may be smiling, but the intention is to kill. Men will pretend to be born again, but inwardly, that man, that is so caring today, will turn out to be ravenous wolf after marriage. Marriage is a serious affair. We have seen husband killing wife. Wife also run mad on the day of wedding. There are so many terrible cases of trouble marriage now in court. My sister, you need God's favour. Pray for what we call divine favour. Be nice to people. If husband and wife see snake, and the wife kill it, the important thing is for the snake to die. My brother, this is what people fail to realize on nairaland, the Holyspirit distribute his gift as he will. You cannot force God to dance to your tunes. That is why he is God. God had deposited the gift into her life for a specific reason, what you need to do is to sit down and check the scripture whether all those prophecies are true. If they are true, then you need to support her. Pray for the Grace to humble yourself. You are there as a divine helper, so that she will not derail into false prophecy. Moreover, God speaks to everybody, all you need to do is to thirst and hunger for a fresh baptism of the holyghost. Try 3 days dry fast, do the work of evangelism, intercede for souls that you have preached to and see how the holyspirit will visit you afresh. You must not forget, God is speaking to you too, either in your dreams, or through your conscience, or one of the over 30 avenues of communication. You need to learn those ways. it all depend on your relationship with God. You also need to examine your life, do a through analysis of your life, from your first day on earth, to the present time, and then plead for God's mercy. Everybody must discover the avenue God speaks to him. Your progress begin in life, when you begin to hear God clearly. Remember Jesus said: my sheep hear my voice, the stranger, they will not follow. About 15 years ago,A man of God in this country, faced high level of rejections from fellow ministers of the Gospel, they called him names, they advised their members not to go to his church, it was terrible. Now, His church is known, almost all over the world. The question now is that, what kept him going? It is the power of vision. It is the divine blueprint that God gives to you, to fufil your destiny on earth. It is your desired future. The Bible says; Proverb 29: 18" Where there is no vision, the people perish" Paul the Apostle, despite the strong oppositons, he faced, said" i was not disobedience to the heavenly vision". As it is applicable, spiritually, it is also applicable physically, you must have a vision of your destination, what do you want? Have a vision. What do you want to become in 10 years time? Convert your vision to goal. Then let your goal be converted to task. This way, you will mount up as eagles in the midst of violent storm. That is why the eagle is a strange bird. A colleague in my office greeted me, i could not answer, it was not deliberate, it was either, i was thinking of something else, when he was greeting me or my mind was not there at that particular time. This man started attacking me, "and you call yourself a christian". I felt so bad, i had to draw him closer, and deeply apologized for my error. God helped me to quench what would have become a serious fight. Christianity is not easy. The way of the cross leads home. Atimes, you have to become wise as serpent and harmless as dove, some other time,you have to behave like a fool, just to allow, peace to reign. Satan will tempt you, he will whisper many seeminly good things, but dangerous into our heart, it wil now depend on the measure, or the degree of the holyspirit in you, that will make you to do the right thing. Titles may be important, but the truth is that, it will not take anybody to heaven. Jesus said: many will come on that day, saying, In your name, we cast out devil, we healed the sick, we did many miracles, then Jesus will reply them, i never knew you.
