The life of a man is shrouded in mystery. A man of God gave an example of a servant of God that was troubled with the spirit of lust. Any time he sees a woman, he always feel a kind of sexual urge towards the opposite sex. He was sincere. He went to God in prayer, fasting and prayer, then the Lord revealed to him. The Lord gave him a revelation. When he was a baby, his mother gave him to a neighbour to look after, before she comes back from the market. This particular neighbour has been looking for the fruit of the womb. The information the herbalist gave this woman was to rub the private part of the baby, and use the hand to rub her body and that after that she will get pregnant. So, this woman rubbed the private part of this little innocent baby, while the real mother went to the market. As from that moment the spirit of lust has gained entrance into the life of this servant of God. After the fasting and prayer, the Lord set him free from that urge. There are deep things in a believer's life, only God can unravel it. At new birth, it is only the spirit, that is recreated and become the abode of God. A demon cannot inhabit the spirit of a christian. The new birth is the rebirth of the spirit not the soul. Also, the new birth is not a rebirth of a man's body. It is not a physical,but a spiritual change. We need to get our mind renewed with the word of God, (Roman 12:1-2) so that our spirit, the real man working with our mind, can govern our body. After a sister graduated from the university with flying colours, she decided to look for job, she was fortunate to get a job, something bad happened to her before she resumed for the new appointment, she ran mad, she got really mad, they took her from one place to the other, then somebody remembered that there is a fire church, she was taken to the fire church, where she was told to go for deliverance for one week. After one week of deliverance she became "madder" (sorry for the vocabulary), later, she was made to undergo another deliverance for the second week, then she became "maddest". On wednesday, during the deliverance, a man appeared with a black nylon bag. He started saying" i want to see the Pastor", the man was allowed to see the Pastor. The man said, he was the one that made this bright sister mad, he further explained that, the black nylon bag with him, contained a pot, if the pot can be broken, the sister will be well, without wasting time, The Pastor snatched the black nylon bag from the man and break it. Immeditely, the sister jumped up and was healed. The pastor asked him, why did you make her mad? he said, because she is the only one who made it in the family, it is just jealousy. This is an example of the problem of the black man, we kill our bread winners, our heroes, and helper. This is called household wickedness. Thank God. So, back to our questions: DO CHRISTIANS EVER NEED DELIVERANCE FROM DEMONS? The answer to this question seem a bit complicated, it could be NO, if the christians develop the potential embedded in the God-given authourity, John1:11-13, to the highest level of an active,dedicated winner of souls and even a preacher who reaches to multitude or an intercessor who brings many to birth through prayer. The answer to the qustions could also be YES, if the christians just choose not to develop the God-given authority in John1:11-13, such christians simply become a respectable church member, or bench warmer so to say. The difference lies in the degree to which they use their God-given authority. This authority is still effective, sometimes demons go out automatically, but usually they have to be driven out. It would be naive to assume that being born again means we shall never be subjected to demonic pressure. On the contrary, satan is more likely to increase his pressure against us when we become christians, especially if we become a serious threat to his kingdom. It is even serious for those whose previous way of life kept them in strong bondage to him. That is why Apostle Peter warned us that" Be sober,be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Slowly,reverently, as in worship,the youth raised both arms over his head, weeping and laughing,"it's gone! It's gone! I felt it go. Praise God, I'm free! It's gone!" A moment later he rose from the chair, spending the next half hour walking through the offices,singing,laughing,shouting. " Thank You, Jesus! It's gone! It's gone! Thank You, Jesus!"

In a quiet but authoritative voice, I started quoting scripture to the spirit. I chose verses reminding it of satan's failure and Jesus' victory. Recognizing that this was merely a manifestation of the spirit, I continued. Suddenly, when I quoted Romans 16:20; "The God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly," something amazing happened. The young man twisted sideways in the chair, grabbed the arm with both hands and went into a violent, epileptic-like seizure. His body lurched forward in a furious, hammering fashion, vibrating sideways at the same time. I held him as much as i could. It was ugly. Yes, demons are ugly. The sound coming out of him was equally astonishing. A bellowing noise, like that of a wounded bull,roared from his body. The events of Philip's preaching in samaria immeditely came to mind: Unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed" Acts8:7; and Jesus' delivering the afflicted child when "the spirit cried out,convulsed him greatly, and came out of him" Mark9:26. The seizure lasted several minutes as i continued to rebuke the spirit, commanding it to be quiet and to go. Then, as suddenly as the seizure had begun, the young man collasped back in the chair,phsically and emotionally spent. The room became quiet. The spirit was gone.

He listened intently. "Receiving ministry today obligates you to a series of follow-up appointments in the future. This is not a one-time session. Jesus warned that when the unclean spirit leaves a person, it goes through dry places seeking rest and finds none. Ultimately, it will return to the same person and try to gain reentry. If it succeeds, that person's final condition will be worse than before. You absolutely must guard against that happening. To prevent it, you have to maintain a life of devotion to God, fellowship with other spirit-filled believers, and sincerely read your Bible. Doing that will strenghten your relationship with the Lord." He agreed. " I want you to lean back in the chair and listen carefully to what I say," I went on. If you comply with God's terms, you will be set free. The scripture promises that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered. Then I led the young man in a proclamation renouncing every occult, unclean activity in which he had ever been involved. Then he verbally forgave everyone who had ever harmed him, including the men who had abused him sexually in childhood. "It's important that you understand i will be speaking directly to the spirit," I continued," and not to you. You must listen carefully, but stay out of the way. Don't allow the demon's threats to intimidate you, and don't protect it." He leaned back,eyes closed, as we began.

I went to my pastor for deliverance, but he says it's impossible for a christian to have a demon of homosexuality and that I'll just have to exercise discipline." He looked at me with distress gripping his face. "But discipline isn't the answer! I know there's a perverse spirit in my body. It is there! Deliverance is the only hope I have. Can you help me? He began weeping again. I waited until he had regained his composure. Then I explained, "I wish it were true that christians were immune to demonic invasion. Unfortunately, our corruptible has not yet 'put on incorruption,' and our mortal has not yet 'put on immortality,' as it says in 1 corinthians 15:54. Until that happens, our minds and bodies will be vulnerable to the enemy. A demon can go anywhere that sin and disease can go. If a christian can have either of these, he's also subject to having a demon. "

@emofine, we will continue to learn,until we say bye,bye to this world. Learning is a continuos process, and i think one will learn more, when you stand on the shoulder of an experienced individual. Men of God are not there for fun. Although, many have been misled by so called fake men of God, the truth must be exposed, there are true men of God, who are not interested in manipulating you, but to giude you, assist you, so that you will not fall into the pit. You are not depending on them, i believe in this situation, the true men of God will offer suggestion, they will not force anybody on you. They usually say, go and pray again. If the person you received is not interested in the relationship, God could say no, and tell you to wait. I am sure that God will certainly say no to those people outside his will, for example, an unbeliever. God will not allow his children to enter an agreement with the devil. What you need is patience, it is a virtue. Also, i do not know your age, but if you are above 35 and you are moving to 40, i think it is better, to seek the face of God again, because the right person may just be around, you may be saying no to him, or your prayer is not enough to arrest him. Consult those who are more experienced in this situation, seek for higher counselling from a true man of God, i mean the one you are led to see by the holyspirit. What if God present to you, a true child of God, who is still struggling to make it? Will you take the Good risk? Ha! Oga Leomax, no matter what you do, people will always talk, they will not be there, when your marriage will be facing some challenges, although, it is not good to disturb the peace of your neighbour, it is not also good, to enter into an old institution called marriage withou seeking help from God. What is good need prayer, what is bad also need prayer. It is a good sign that your marriage will be successful. People do not care if you fail, infact, some people will even laugh at your back when you fail. Failure is an orphan, but success has many friends, your fiancee understood very well, that marriage is closed package, you will not know what is inside, until you get there. Perhaps, she is trying to lay a good foundation for your marriage. Honestly, if i were you, i will even join her, i will just tell her that we should move to a secluded area with one or two of your friends, you can confide in, so that you will not be tempted to sin. HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH WEAKNESS DURING DRY FASTING?

I once embarked on a 3 day fast, years ago and after day one I began to experience weakness in my limbs and  other parts. So bad that I couldn't even pray again, I didn't have strength to pray, I would just open my mouth and no voice comes out. I began to count time and hours. I even too a walk to distract myself frim the weakness, i almost fainted . I had to hold an elctric pole . Finally I broke the fast that 2nd day concluding that I would have strengh to pray better when I eat.

How do you get strength to pray?

you have to go to nusery school for 2 yrs or so before you proceed to primary school for 5 or 6 yrs or so, then you proceed to the secondary school, where you spend another 5 yrs, then you end up in the university. Fasting for a long time require patience, you do it stage by stage, remember i told you, start with 1, then 2, and so on. Weakness can only be handled by the Grace of God. Pray for the Grace. After day 2, start taking water, take your bath regularly, pray at intervals. There has to be a burden from the Lord in your heart that will push you to it. God bless you. God2man.

There is no problem free life, another name for this world is trouble, in fact Jesus said, in this world we shall have tribulation, but we should rejoice, because he has overcome the world. Adversity is the greatest boxer in life, the devil throws stones at everybody, it depends on your reaction to it. Your problem will either make you a better person or destroy you in hell. You have to stand up and be a man, and confront your problem, may be you are in the wrong church, or may be your relationship with God is faulty. Do a research about your christian life, what are you doing that is not working, what is it that give you satisfaction. Check your life. Or change your church. Remember, the man in you will die, if there is no challenges,confrontation,or problem. The righeteous in the wrong church, and a sinner in the right church are the same. CHANGE YOUR CHURCH. You must not forget to take your bath everyday, it will keep you fresh,you must inform your close relative of where you are, in case of any problem. It is better to fast together with somebody you can confide in. God bless you. God2man.

If you want to achieve your aim of completing a long fast, like 7,10,14,21, then you need to go to a secluded area, quite and private, in your own house, where children will not disturb you, in a private hotel, on the mountain and so on. Here, i am not talking of 10,30,40,70 days, where you break, every 6pm, No. I am talking about total fasting, where you will not eat food,except water, throught out, in yoruba we called it (biribiri). This is the type of fasting that will have a great impact on your life, For some reasons, i do not want to mention, how many days, i have passed through, but it was more than 7 days. When i started, no water until the third day, the first two days, will be tough, the enemy will bring an aroma of food, you will feel like eating anything, so, on the third day, you will feel refreshed, as you progressed, you will become weaker, and weaker but the consolation is that, you can drink water, but no food, it is important to continue to pray at intervals of 6 to 12hrs. This will keep the thought of pain away from you, you must also meditate on the scripture, if your body permits you. On the 5th to 7th days, many things will happen to discourage you, you will feel like, you want to faint, but go and pray, then drink water, you will be okay. Fasting is a tough spiritual battle, because the enemy know, you will never remain the same, after 7 days, you are already there, i mean, you will exprience the annointing of the holyspirit,if you ask for it. Heavens will attend to you. You will feel it,physically as if a dew is falling on you. Oh! What a tremendous exprience? You will not like to stop praying, prayer will be sweet, like sugar, sweet hour of prayer. God bless you. God2man.

Two brothers came to a man of God in 1994, it happened that from January to July, in 1994, within a period of seven months, 19 people in their family have died. So, every night something keep telling them, they should be getting ready. That was why they came to see the man of God, the man of God said, this is a siege. He gave them just one strange prayer point, "O God, ordain terrifying noises against my enemies." They said, what kind of prayer is this, the man Of God said, strange problem require strange prayer, deep problem require deep prayer, mysterious problem require mysterious prayer. The man of God warned them not to travel anywhere during the period of this prayer. The younger brother started the prayer in the night, he has not even prayed for long, when he started hearing the sound of bullet, as if there was a war. Continuos bombardment of bullet and the artillery, the younger brother said, as the bullet were coming, he saw an angel of God diverting those bullets. The brother continue the prayer, he did not possess enough prayer stamina, so, he stopped for a while and he was attacked, then he was admitted to the hospital. The elder brother disobeyed the man of God, he left his younger brother and travelled, the vehicle caught fire and he died. It remains only the younger brother that is alive today. If my father had known that taking me to the hospital will make me, have another encounter with the Lord, he would not have beaten me. I was on the bed, the Lord appeared to me, he touched my leg, the light on his face did not allow me to see his face, i screamed, Ghost, the nurse came and asked, what did i see? I said, i saw, a Ghost, she said, describe the ghost, the nurse said, it is not a Ghost, but an angel of the Lord. So, she advised me that, when the angel come again, i should ask him, what he wants. Then again the Lord came, i saw his face, smiling, then he said, Be bold, because you will overcome this temptation. I went back to the nurse, then sister Ngozi said, i should kneel down, she wants to pray for me. After the prayer, she said, in Jesus name. Then, i started speaking in tongues for 3 hours, i spoke in tongue for 3 hours, a chadian nurse, that was there, said, i have been speaking in chadian and this is what, i was saying, Jesus is the King of Kings, he is coming to Judge the world, repent. The chadian nurse said, i understood chadian language, that i was just pretending.

I said God forbid, then i lost my peace. One day, i went to buy the Bible, then i received peace, i hid the Bible under the Box. On sunday morning, i took my Bible, enter my car and drove to the church, i did not want to go the church that is nearer, so i went to a far church. I went to the Baptist Church, the pastor preached on, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free, it was as if the preacher was talking to me. So, after the service, i informed the pastor of my ordeal, he said, it is not possible or else they will come and burn down, this church. Then i drove back home, my husband was already waiting for me at home, he said, where are you coming from? Reluctantly, I told him, i was coming from the church. My husband wanted to tear the Bible, i said no, you can do whatever you like with me but do not tear the Bible. He was shocked, is this not the same woman that was tearing the Bible? So, my husband did not tear the Bible. My husband went to call my father, when my father came, you know as miltary man, my father beat me and i was taken to the Hospital, i was unconscious for many days.

The Genesis of my conversion started in the University of Nsukka, i had a room mate called chinwe, this lady loved praises, she will sing like this; come and join me sing Halleluyah---- I was looking for a way to deal with her, one day while coming from the House fellowship, she kept her Bible on my bed and i said who kept the Bible on my Bed, she said sorry, Binta, i carried the Bible, i tore the Bible, then i beat her. She took a piece of the Bible and cried to the heavens, and called my name three times, Binta Jalingo, Binta Jalingo, Binta Jalingo, this Bible you tore, you will use it to preach the Gospel. Then i slapped her again, i said, it is your mother and your father that will preach the Gospel, she said, may the Lord have mercy on you, Binta. After seven years of the spoken words, i got converted, 25th September 1999, i was in the bedroom in Maiduguri in shehu's palace, because i got married to the youger brother of shehu of Bornu, We were in the Bedroom, A light appeared, more powerful than Nepa, and wind was blowing. A voice came and said, you have been baptized with the Holyspirit, to be daughters of this Generation, However, my husband did not hear the voice, i was the only one that heard the voice, and i asked my husband, he said, he did not hear, that i have become a witch, my husband left the Bedroom and took my twins children to the other room. From that time, i lost my peace. A spirit keep telling me that i should tell my husband that i want to go to church.

My names are Binta Jalingo, i am a fulani by tribe, born in Lagos, ikeja cantonment, my father was an army officer, he is retired now, i am from the Emirate, jalingo, in Taraba, by that, i am a princess by birth, i lived all my life in the south and the east. I rose up to the rank of Executive Director, i was in that position because i was a muslim. I was a fanatical muslim The havoc i have done in the christendom and against the gospel, i can only say God is just too merciful to me. When i was in secondary school, i went to a girl school in the east, we were told to bring Bible, so we carry Bibles to Kaduna to burn, we thought that is the only way to stop the Gospel, but nobody can stop God, the truth cannot be stopped, that was happened, when Jesus died, the grave could not hold him. When we burn the bible we are called faithful muslim.I became one of the leader in the muslim society.

Let God direct you on the next line of action, the bible says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Find time to seek the face of God for direction or rather, go for higher divine counselling from an exprienced Man of God on this issue, so that it will not boomerang. @east, it depends on the leading of the Holyspirit. Listen to this testimony, a woman usually encountered miscarriage, she got pregnant again and she came with her husband to see the man of God, so the man of God was directed by the holy spirit to inform the woman to go for like 20 to 21 days, the husband, a doctor protested that his wife will die, claiming how will the pregnancy survived, but the woman in trouble had a burden, she wanted a child by all means, so it became a good risk. She did it for about 21 days and she put to bed a bouncing baby. The truth is that fasting is an adventure. Beloved, there has to be a great burden in your heart, that you want to off load to the throne of Grace, that burden will push you to go for the number of days, the holyspirit wants you to go. Remember, Jesus was directed to the wilderness by the holyspirit for 40 days and 40 nights. For those christian aspiring for spiritual growth, you need to know that, we are different, we are from different background, the number of days apllicable to me may not be applicable to others, our foundations are different. Besides, during long fast, you may experience, pain, discouragement, cattarh, headache,spitting of saliva, stomach upset. It may be difficult to excrete, you may excrete blood, you may experience cough, cold even become sick. These are signs of sickness.Just keep ascending the mount, because you will soon lay hold on the sword of power by which you can avenge and fight the forces of darkness and overcome them. During my wedding, i decided not to consent with the idea of wedding ring and my wife supported me. My church also agreed to the decision. We used the Bible. The word of God, that will stand the test of time. Atimes,If you want to make heaven, you have to stand alone, dare to be a Daniel. It is difficult to sing solo. The greatest mistake anybody can make is to kill a holyghost filled,redeemed, devouted, faithful, christian. That is the Apple of God eyes. The bible says, he suffered no one to do them wrong, he rebuked kings for their sakes, saying Touch not my annointed one and do my prophet no harm. The questions is, if God will rebuke Kings for planning to harm his own chosen one, then what is going to happen, if they are eventually killed. The truth is that no matter how many christians are killed even on daily basis, it will never, i repeat, it never stop christianity, but rather will serve as a catalyst to propagate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus christ. This is the reason behind the conversion of some highly devouted muslims to christianity. God is trying to tell them that He is God, and that nobody can stop him.
