One Nigeria indeed.
We are yet to see a contract award for SUNDAY CHURCH in Kaduna or Benue State. Where is CAN? Where is Prof. Osinbajo?

Dear Lord, before you send me to Nigeria in the next life, please kill all the current leaders before you even think about it. This country can make one lose his sanity. It's becoming too much.

Federal Ministry of Agriculture!! Was this project in the budget? Fie on anyone who tells me there is EFCC or ICPC in this country. They're all scams, chasing those without power, while they claim ignorance when those in power are terrorising us.

Nov. Bill 27,500 just for 2 bedroom flat alone. 4hrs light at most a day. No light on weekends.

Oct was 22,600. Sept. 19,400.
In August they disconnected my light. I tried to get them to reconnect but they didn't. Each month they keep bringing bills that keep increasing exponentially. Because of the nature of my hustle I'm hardly around till night. So one day I got lucky and met the person sharing bill. I showed her the disconnection notice and the light that is still unconnected.

I felt like flogging the innocent fellow. But are we sure this country is not cursed? Pls which country is worse than Nigeria on earth? I guess Iraq might even be better. I've asked God to forgive my sins and never to send me back to this zoo if there's another life.
RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Lose Interest When A Lady Acts Interested In Them? by godfreytom(m): 9:48pm On May 01, 2020

This is a different scenario.cos here you’re saying the girl made the move.

I’m actually saying that In my case the man made the move
To be frank, "it is not all the flies that visit a wound want to feast on it. Some are only there to take a look" - African proverb.

There are many men who ask out a very beautiful girl for what i call VALIDATION. They only want to see if such beautiful ladies would find them good enough to date. They lose interest easily in relationships before it gets serious, not because they are not serious-minded, but because their motive was not to sleep or go intimate with her. Such men only "play games" with the girl they find to be very attractive, just to see how far they can go.

Once they get you to like them, they have achieved what they wanted and lose interest naturally. This is what you are experiencing.

When people talk of EFCC, ICPC, I laugh in French. This country is a big scam. They look us in the face, and pay the palliative to whoever they want and ask us, what are u going to do?

Tomorrow, when I get in any position, I will retaliate. You crooks will pay for what you have turned us to, in this same country. The earlier we go our separate ways the better.

PetsRe: Do Dogs See Spirits And Witches? by godfreytom(m): 11:05pm On Apr 14, 2020
hakeem4:
First of all ghosts, spirits, demons, angels and all sort of supernatural stuffs don't exist! No single animal on earth evolved to see any nonsense such as ghost etc

back to the question asked by the OP. Dog cannot see anything that is not physical.

The eye are light receptors called cones and rods. Cones help us distinguish different colors, while rods help us see in dim light. ... Turns out, dogs have fewer cone receptors than humans — which means they can't see as many colors. Human cones can detect 3 colors: red, green, and blue.
I beg to differ.

My mother had a dog sometime ago (I was in SS3 at the time). The dog was made in heaven. The dog could detect witches. I don't know abt spirits.

The dog was so perfect in the art of detecting witches that someone actually told my mother that people are not happy with the dog. There was a certain man which we knew was a witch because of the way the dog treated him. The dog wouldn't let the man pass by our house. He would bark and jump and scatter the place as if he must shred the man by all means. Sometimes, we knew that the man was around the street by the way the dog started causing trouble.

There was a certain man that we used as a litmus test for the dog. The man, at least we were sure was a witch. Even the man's voice would make the dog bark uncontrollably.

So with all the experience we had with that dog, we knew dogs could sense bad spirits and witches. How did the dog die? A terrible death. They kept poisoned meat for the dog, she didn't eat. They managed to cut off its right front limb, somewhere around the elbow. How they did it, we couldn't explain. But it eventually healed. In the actual death, the dog was stabbed many times and murdered gruesomely. But it was the best dog I've ever seen in Nigeria. A psychic.
PoliticsRe: Anozie Madaubuchi Cyril Berates Chinese Officials For Eviction Of Nigerians by godfreytom(m): 11:29am On Apr 10, 2020
It will take time before any country of the world treats Nigerians with respect. They can never do that rubbish to Americans. NEVER.

They do it to Nigerians because they know that even Nigeria treats her citizens worse. They know that there won't be any repercussion. They know that "nothing dey happen".

But why would they not treat us this way? Our graduates travel out of Nigeria and end up doing menial jobs while Chinese come here with Diploma and are awarded hefty government contracts, assigned military escorts/body guards and are treated as kings. Why would they not treat us as they like?

When Nigeria is running to borrow from China and other countries of the world, why would they not treat us as they like? When will those countries ever borrow from us?

It is not as if this country is blessed, but the world knows that our resources are carted away. Covid-19 is here opening doors of looting for people in government. If I say I no tire for this country, na lie.

DEAR GOD, IF THERE WILL EVER BE ANOTHER LIVE AFTER THIS ONE, PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME TO NIGERIA. I BEG OF YOU, DO NOT SEND ME TO NIGERIA AGAIN. We have suffered.

For all the people supporting bad governance whether PDP or APC, God is watching you. If it doesn't hurt you today, it will hurt you someday.

For you e-rats supporting one looter or the other, if you escape the impact, your unborn generation will not.

At the end of the day, THE PEOPLE DESERVE THEIR LEADERS.

Car TalkRe: Need To Tint My Car Window, Suggestions Please. by godfreytom(m): 8:58am On Apr 08, 2018
chidike:
Hello guys, please I want to tint my car windows and I don't want to do the one that is like leather which can be peeled off. I once heard of a tint on car windows that is like spray paint or something which makes your windows look more factory fitted so that our police men won't try to peel it off. Does anyone know about this and where I can do it in around Surulere, Yaba or Ikeja? Your assistance will be appreciated. Oh and I have a tint permit already. What happened was that I used to have the leather type of tint but didn't have a permit then so I had to peel it off, cos the permit took a while to get to me. But now that I have the permit I want to do the tint but not the leather type.

Thanks, looking forward to your assistance.
How did you get your permit?

PoliticsRe: UK Police Grant Nigerians Permit To Protest Overnight In Front Of Abuja House by godfreytom(m): 8:40am On Aug 19, 2017
factsandfigures:
Questions:
1)Don't we have qualified Nigerians doctors(Home and Abroad) who can treat PMB in ASO Rock?

2) If no hospital in Nigeria has the required equipment to treat PMB, is the two years not enough to get world class equipment for at least ASO Rock clinic?

3.) What has been happening to the budget that has been allocated to ASO Rock clinic in the past two years?

4.) Is the acting president actually operating to full capacity?

5.) Is our president more save receiving treatment on a foreign soil?

6) Where is our collective pride as Nigerians?

8 ) Why is it that the prime minister of Britain or any other British high officer has not deemed it fit to visit our president all send goodwill message to him since he started to receive treatment in London?

9) Why can't he address Nigerians who are silently praying for his recovery?

10) When Nelson Mandela was ill, he was treated in South Africa.

11) Now that Osibanjo is out of the country even( if it is just for a second) who is holding forth?

12) When do we degenerate to the extent that some people are making mockery of the president's health challenges?

13) Since our constitution is silent on how many days a president can spend on sick leave does that mean a Nigerian President can spend his entire tenure outside Nigeria or on sick leave?

It is only human and not unusual for a 73 years old man to get sick and I really pray for the president recovery. I respect PMB a lot especially when he declared that he has never been so sick in his live as against the lies peddled around by his media team. The president should please ignore the hyena and the jackals and speak to Nigerians. He should honestly evaluate himself and ask if he still has the capacity to continue shouldering the heavy burden of leading Nigeria......Then he should declare a state of emergency in our health sector. Never again should a Nigerian president be treated on a foreign soil. The Nation Assembly should review our constitution to determine the numbers of days our presidents should spend on a foreign soil and the number of days he can take sick leave before being declared unfit. No individual should be greater than Nigeria. We are Giant of Africa!
Good questions and opinion. But these hyenas, jackals and zombies don't care abt public opinion. As a matter of fact, they don't know or care abt what the people say. Thanks to a corruption judiciary and legislature, anything goes in Nigeria. Nigeria our jungle can never be the giant of Africa, let's stop fooling ourselves. South African certificates are rated higher than ours. Not to talk of Egypt or common Ghana of yesterday. We are the corrupt giant not the real giant. What do we have? Do we have electricity to start with? What are we manufacturing? Can we boast of our educational system? Or is it our economy when Rand has more purchasing power by far? What makes us the giant? Is it the infrastructure, when all our funds are carted abroad to develop other lands? In which aspect are we the giants?

UNICAL LIBRARY IS THE BIGGEST IN WEST AFRICA. exactly What you see above the ground is what you have underground. Try and Google it. But in terms of contents, I can't say. But I know that there's an e-libraey subscription to some of the most powerful libraries in the world, like Harvard, IMT, Oxford, UCL, etc. You can have access to books published in current month at any point in time.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nairaland Girls Are So Lonely by godfreytom(m): 1:32am On Jul 18, 2009
@ EshuKemi,
Your post was the most disrespectful post that i've ever seen on NL so far.  I am a guy and don't feel anyone should address the women folk that way.  It shows that you have no respect for yourself in the first place.  Take my advice, those girls may have been introduced online by their loving boyfriends or brothers.  Plus, is it not better to stay online and post than causing havoc outside?

Anyway, it shows how biased you are about women.  Probably, it goes a long way to show how women are rated at where you come from.  I love men to be men and women, women.  Besides, I've seen girls who stay up to read novels or watch movies all night.  I'm sure posting online is not a bad substitute, since you can visit more than 10 pages at a time, at ease, cf with watching a 10 movies or reading 10 novels at a time.

I REALLY WONDER WHY THE MODERATOR IS LEAVING THAT POST.  I REQUEST THAT THE POST BE TAKEN OFF AS IT PORTRAYS US AS PRIMITIVE TO THE WORLD.  Remember, this is a CORE NAIJA OR NAIRA FORUM.

Just a note for EshuKemi: your bias is fully portrayed in your status message"Jesus was always surrounded by Men! Me thinks he was very Gay!"  This is not true.  The Pharisees like you did not allow women to have an equal access to the Master just like what you are trying to do in our OWN time in NAIRALAND.  Please go to school.

I'm open to your rebuke.
PoliticsRe: World Bank Releases List Of Nigerian Looters by godfreytom(m): 1:00am On Jul 18, 2009
Whether there is a source or no source, Nigeria's corruption is irredeemable. That is our tsunami, our hurricane and earthquake. Which politician (or political office holder) is not "clean" All of them are "clean". That is why they are being recycled for us. I am ashamed of this country.

I am ashamed of the "praise" (Mind you i didn't say PRESS). I am even ashamed of all the TV stations that come out openly to PRAISE ALL THESE CHIEFS (I didn't say THIEVES) when they are in power, but when they leave, they start making USELESS NOISE. MARK MY WORDS, when the current set of leaders leave power, that is when some NEWSPAPERS will start getting us saturated with their "professionalism" stories of "HOW GOV. X laundered 50BILLION US DOLLARS", just to sell their ill-fated papers.

I am fed up with "this stole that, or that stole this". What of all the funds that have been going down the drain for the past 10 years of democratic "farce", especially from my own God-given "helter skelter", sorry, Niger delta? How and why should we have constant light in this country? Why will ASUU not be on strike? Why should Obama visit the GIANT OF AFRICA (my natural black a rse)? When will all our funds be properly accounted for until the executives leave their offices. The irony is the NATIONAL PLEDGE: I PLEDGE TO NIGERIA MY COUNTRY, TO BE FAITHFUL, LOYAL AND "HONEST", "AND UPHOLD HER HONOUR, " Somebody help me, are laws only made for the ordinary Nigerians? I'm lost!

PoliticsRe: Orji Kalu says President Obasanjo is Corrupt. EFCC Investigates. by godfreytom(m): 1:48pm On Dec 10, 2005
embarassed  Nobody should tell me of Investigation.  I have never heard any result of an investigation in my darling Nigeria.  Afterall, in Nigeria, anything is possible.  OBJ is as corrupt as ORJI.  In short ORJI is more corrupt than OBJ.  But that is left for God to decide.  Because I hate the word "INVESTIGATION" in Nigeria.  In short it makes me feel like  committing suicide at ASO ROCK - in front of OBJ and his security guards, whenever I hear "investigation".  NO ONE IS INVESTIGATING NOTHING IN NIGERIA. The word "INVESTIGATION" in Nigeria is the root of all the corruption in this country -  Because results of investigations are never always made public, to the detriment of the country's image.

Pls someone should tell the world that "when we talk of corruption in Nigeria, it is not the ordinary man that is corrupt, but the persons in authority". And I think the best place to start with is the Presidency.  I am not saying that our President is corrupt, but anyone who says there is no corruption in the Presidency is a f--l.  And who heads the presidency?

So whether ORJI is saying the truth or not, he might be saying the truth about himself and the whole system.  Perhaps Gani Fawehnmi (pardon spelling errors) is ALWAYS CORRECT.

Let God decide! God bless Nigeria!
