PoliticsRe: Sanusi, The Most Intelligent Man In The Country- IMF by Godmann(m): 2:00pm On Dec 21, 2011
Most people don't get the message.

Sanusi is an intelligent guy but no way near a genius. People like Soludo approaches Genius. But Sanusi is bold and honest to a very large extent, probably owing to his background.

Sanusi does not give much damn about material acquisition like most of his contemporaries, and that stands him out.

As for the IMF madam calling him, the most intelligent Nigeria, it is all to message his ego. Have you guys not noticed the number of awards they have been pouring on him? Have also not noticed that he has changed his political ideology slightly to be in less conflict with the west. They see him as an obstacle, and the West I know, will first apply diplomacy to win him over. If he does not yield, they will blackmail him and can even go to the extent of killing him. I believe they will be digging up any mess on him right now with which to pull him down if he refuses to bend. I know his phones must be constantly wire-tapped. That is the ways of the West. Try to understand the fate of Idiagbon when Obasanjo tried to involve him in his government. The West know what happened to the guy. Those poison cannot be bought over the counter any where in the world. Only the CIAs, M16s of this world manufacture and deploy them.

But I am happy this morning when I read his comment against the subsidy removal; guess he is rediscovering himself.

But if well managed, can make a good presidential material. BOLD, Good Intelligence, no evidence of corruption dating back to his days in first bank. Strict when it comes to law and principle.

The only weakness is that he may be pro-North, pro-sharia. I really do not know the extent he can go to being neutral when it comes to religious affairs. And I also know that an average clean Northerner will hate the south because the south stinks (I am a southerner from east mind you).

While you have some points, our problem still remains ourselves. A situation where an hausa man doesnt like jonathan, even if jona does good things, because he,jona is an ijaw man. Who will you blame? The west, abi? Na them tell hausa man to kill tivs? Fulani to kill beroms? The problem remains ourselves. If you are a yoruba man,you wont give me work in your company cos am a ND man, even if am the most qualified. Who caused that one? The west i assume. Go to mobil, the yorubas who control there[and they have no crude] refused to employ an eket man as a gate man,Y? He is eket, rather they employed a yoruba man as a gateman in eket. The west too is @ fault, abi? I hate when pipo put their woes on other pipo heads, when they are @ fault from beginning to the end.
BTW,what stops an african country not to subsides its agricultural sector? Even mexico does the same,so what stops ours? When it will happen,U will hear yoruba, ijaw, ibo, efik people say it would only benefit the north and so it should not happen. Who caused it? The WEST.
Yes our problem is partly tribalism and all of us are guilty of it. Even the so called marginalized try to marginalize others when they have an opportunity. But we also should know that this tribalism was cultivated by the British during the colonial days. And like every evil, once started become difficult to tackle.

Once we have good government, the impact of tribalism will be minimized. It is hardship and denials and adds strength to tribalism.

I was in Portharcourt listening to a local radio station when a panel was discussing the local content law and members of the panel were repeatedly saying "we take over the system". And I was amazed how the local content bills that should be for the interest of all Nigerians was being interpreted as a means for Niger Delta people, not have their fair share of the system, but to take over it. Was that not stupid and myopic. I also know for sure that the Niger Delta people were not at the forefront when people fought for 13.5% derivation. Even when their state government collects larger amounts every month because of this, I believe it is for the general good of the country and not Niger Delta alone.

It is only fairness that can save us and not just one part taking over the system. The South is as guilty as the North when it comes to Tribalism. How many southerners voted against Obasanjo's Third Term Ambition? Who led the G34 that challenged Abacha? Was it not first G18 made up of all Northerners before some southerners were called to enlarge it to G34.

Some factors necessitated by the British ensured the North had power after Independent. Igbo's did not play a particularly good role from 1960 to 1967. That the north even retained power after Nzeogwu's coup, that Nzeogwu's coup failed, were purely the faults of Igbo senior army officers who were selfish. Awolowo did not play a particularly good role during and after the war (may be he saw it as a pay back time to the Igbos), of course the North had had power more and abused it.

So all of us have sinned. Period. But we sinned because our leaders were manipulated by the West.

Minus British manipulation, Tafawa Belawa would not have been; may be 1960 politics would have been different. Minus their interference, the civil war wouldn't have been. In fact, Muritala's agenda was to secede the North after the killing of Ironsi. Minus the American's Muritala would have been alive and our fate would have been different.

Minus America GEJ would not have been. May be it would have been Buhari and I am convinced he would have been different. Minus America, Obasanjo 1999 would not have been.

Minus them, SAP would not have been.

These are all too obvious for all to see

I was going to argue with your assertions, but I read your post again and with the kind of unnecessary venom in your response, I had to agree with you that we are a backward people.
If you know what you have been denied, how long it has lasted, the strategies they have employed to keep us down, the real cost; you will certainly have worse venom that I do.

Guess you are happy to be an African, living in the dark ages, in this 21st. Not because you lack head and hands to evolve and innovate like other races in the world, but because Western Europe have imposed a killing kind of leadership in us.

It is annoying, and it is only God that stopped one from joining the Usama's of this world.

All I ask is for, is us to be left alone to build our nation the way all other people of the world build theirs.

Prove me wrong. Find out who manipulatively gave you clueless GEJ, clueless Tafawa Belawa, Clueless Shagari, criminal IBB, corrupt Abubakar, dull Atiku, primitive vindictive and corrupt Obasanjo as leaders.

Find out about Patrice Lumumba and his fate, Thomas Sankara, our Muritala. Find out how Buhari/Idiagbon was removed and IBB brought in. Try to understand the old politics of SAP.

Go ask people about free trade and the harm it has done to our country and our employment opportunities; Pick your economic textbook and tell me the difference between free trade and free movement of labour. If goods can move freely across national boundaries according to economic principles, why can't labour follow suit because same advantages are applicable.

Why have your un-intelligent stooges called leaders failed to make a case for us in the world affairs. If we can't have jobs in our land because they have conspired to destroy our industries, why can't we have that job in the countries. Are the goods not sold in our lands?

I once wanted to apply for a job in Nigeria by an oil company and was told that the job is for expatriates only. This came at a time when I left Britain because I find out that all the good jobs are primarily for their people. All they have for us is for our best brains to lavish in their land doing menial jobs, wasting their career and talents. Why will the Europeans reserve jobs in their won country for their people and also reserve jobs in my own country for their people.

The answers lies in some people (Western Europe) making the rules of international engagement in their own favour while your foolish corrupt leaders follow without question, without reason.

So you expect me to be happy over these? And you expect me to be happy when my people don't get these? How many lives have been lost in our land as a result of these? Are we not also worthy humans?

People that live in the bushes or that do not have brains to understand how the world works should close their mouths.

No wonder we are in the doldrums? Because our schools refuse to teach us; our history was dumped and pure lies put into our heads to confuse us more.

Chief, you are a slave of the world and will never be considered worthy of what gets to the Greece, the Italians, The Spanish.

Get it into your dammed head, Western Europe owns our world.

Stop fooling yourself; IMF, WORLD BANK, UN etc will never threat you like the Europeans.

For your information, there is a world world ranking order

1: Western Europe and America. (For your information US, CANADA, NEW ZEALAND, AUSTRALIA , including some from South Africa, and Zimbabwe are cousins of the Western Europe.).
2. The Asians
3. The South Americans
4. Other Africans (Caribeans)
5. Bloody Black Africans. (That's where me and you belong.)

Until we get this and work to reform and earn our respect; we will continue to be fooled.

Gentlemen, this is not funny at all. We need to find a way to stop this man.

By 2007, we owed 14billion dollars.
by 2010, it climbed to 21 billion dollars,
by 2011, it jumped to 32 billion dollars,
Before 2012, we are talking of 40billion dollars.

Can't we see the signs? This man will surely destroy our generation. May God have mercy on us if we fail to act.

On top of this, the electric tariffs, have been hiked up; a bogus vehicle licensing and number plate scheme has been invented and fuel prices will soon hit the sky.

God, please intervene.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Praised By Imf Chief Christine Lagarde by Godmann(m): 9:19am On Dec 20, 2011
Thank God ordinary Nigerians are getting the tricks. She is on a mission to save Europe. The praise is meant to further hypnotize GEJ to open our economy for European interest. That's just the summary.

We hardly learn from the past. SAP was put in place because the Western Economies needed to be saved in the 1980s. Nigeria, Argentina and other middle economies were deceived into adopting SAP.

The consequence: we destroyed our industrial capacity and created the conditions that made it possible for them to produce for us. So long as we buy goods from them, their economy will be better while ours suffers. Ask any British or American about the Thatcher and Regan miracle. It was both that plotted SAP which destroyed our economy and saved theirs.

This woman, Ngozi-Iweala and others are for same role, today. People like Iweala are stooges that are being led into what they hardly understand. Did she not pay our external debt to save us (whereas the real reason was to save the then collapsing Western Banks.) The Credit crunch was caused by over-exposure by the banks and getting 16billion or so from Nigeria was a sweet deal.

Until we have intelligent leaders that can lay this economic games with other countries of the world, our economy will never work.

THE WORLD IS ON AN ECONOMIC WAR. There is no free meal out there. We better get it or perish.

Bribe I have since stopped for even before I left University (over 12 years ago), but fornication, I have not been able to.

I tried but one thing led to the other that I have not been able to.

It is stu.pid threats of strikes and indeed senseless strike such as this one that NLC is planning that are actually responsible for sky high inflation. Immediately the strike commences, motorists react by pushing transport fare to roof, others join them in a chain reaction. Even when the cause of the strike is eventually addressed or removed, price generally does not come down.

At any rate I will watch on the sideline as 'poor masses' protest since they are the ones affected. I will also be praying for these 'poor masses' that God should deliver them from 'poverty' so that they don't become a recurring decimal at protest grounds. Amen.

Don't you think what you call smart in the streets can better be classified as frivolities not worthy of attention or that distracts? Intelligent is from God and the uninitiated will never understand it. Geniuses are born not made.

Not really.

Things like that come easy for people that know that stuff.

I can do maths in my sleep and throughout my life I have never had to study hard for that subject. I did not even usually go for classes yet hardly ever missed the top marks.

It is all part of the privilege of an immensely logical brain. I am yet to see a Maths topic I do not understand with moderate studying.

Give me something like Sociology to study (a fuzzy subject) and I start struggling and have to read day and night only to end up with a B/C.

Well said!
Sorry, doing maths in your sleep does not necessarily mean you are intelligent. Maybe your brains is just better wired for maths. May be you are just average.

But generally, I think romance is build on emotions and we know emotions was never built on reason. In fact the more unintelligent one is, the more emotionally he reacts.

That's why romance quickly fades away because it is build on quicksand.

But as some pointed out, when two intelligent people come together in relationship, the sky becomes the limit, because they just flow

Lookin 4 a 'nerd'? Here's one! I'm not exactly a core nerd, ( at least not like Steve of Family Matters) i would say i'm a nerdy/cool hybrid- A liberal Geek! but i know what goes on in a nerd's mind.  We can be so logical to a fault. And yes, plotting to nail a chic is hardly in our priority list. (with hundreds of unsolved math puzzles and programming languages to master? There's no time for that!). In logic, its either 'true' or 'false', 1 or 0. If we manage to ask a gal out and she no gree, na so! We aint giving her a second shot. A nerd can miss a date cos of an IQ test!! As some1 rightly pointed out, we tend to b obsessive - Philip Emeagwali was so obsessed with his super computer research, he proposed to his girlfriend in the middle of a (supposedly scientific) discussion by saying "by the way, lets get Married",  , Bill Gates is a quintessential nerd. with all his billions, he didn't bother to go  outside his company to find a wife- im no wan stress himself!
Who else would sit down for months developing advanced social network algorithms just for fun if not for a downright nerd? In an interview, Mitchelle Obama admitted that Barack was so lame on their first date. Nerdy ambitions surely take a toll on the geek's social and romantic life.  Only a nerdy girl can understand and cope with a nerdy guy,
Honestly, you cannot be intelligent. Intelligent guys knows how to question their own intelligent, because the more you know, the more you find out that you do not know.

Knowledge s limitless. For you to conclude that you know enough means you are seeing a limit to knowledge which is the very attribute of unintelligent minds. Maybe your are fortunate with your average brain to have grabs those stuff that is presently blowing your head. I've never seen Albert Eisenstein call himself an intelligent man; but I have seen his works on the sciences; I have read his philosophical opinions; his political statements are masterpiece; meaning his is a truly intelligent mind.

Intelligent minds excel in all fields, because it is same brain that is involved.

Frankly speaking non or few Nigerians themselves have a solution to our problem. Taking to the streets won't solve the problem rather will lead to blood bath, we are too advanced to get into such a rumple with our so called leaders.
I want Nigerians to note that most of all so called Nigerian present leaders have nothing to offer. No good policies and no structures feasible in their mind set. they are just after what they'll acquire for their great grand children and the most expensive houses to acquire in Dubai.
It's no use trading words with them, cos they don't even see the sense in all the noise we make. Most of them have sold their heart to the devil, so no matter how embittered you feel, how deep you are hurt by their selfish policies, no matter how many Nigerians die everyday, they don't give a damn.
JONATHAN was not the best for Nigerian, he is just a puppet. He will never and can not fulfill his election promises, so let's get that into our heads.
He was not ready to lead Nigerian when OBJ called upon him. Just that they felt he was the best at that time.

I WANT TO MAKE A POINT
1. Can Good Luck Ebere Jonathan tell Nigerians how much makes from crude oil sales everyday?
2. Can GEJ tell Nigerians that he established a company which intends to export Nigerian coal abroad, which will yield him billions of dollars per month?
3. Can he tell Nigerians How many oil companies he has floated in Saotomi and Ivory coast?
4. Will he swear to Nigerians that he is not aware of the oil rackets his wife is involved in?
To mention but a few.

If Good Luck Ebere Jonathan is a true leader, with what is facing Nigeria now, I expect him to cut his salary and that of his subordinates, traveling expenses and state house expenses. It'll yield Nigeria so much billion to pay for our external debts, but I dare him!. That is patriotism.

My advice is this, whether we like it or not. This selfish set of leader we have will never and will not initiate any policy to better Nigerian masses.
Nigerian should learn to depend on themselves, self independence. Always believe that you 'DO NOT HAVE ANY GOVERNMENT'
We have to help ourselves in diverse way to be self reliant. We should find a way of sourcing drilling crude oil to refine our own petroleum, kerosene and diesel.
If you have idle land, let out to people that can cultivate on it to produce food at little or no cost.
We should learn how to do things ourselves without looking at our so called leaders. By the time they realize that the tax generated is nothing to write home about, they will have no more money to loath, then we'll come back to the drawing board. B'cos I am not expected to pay tax to any government that doesn't care for my walfare. If we don't pay taxes, let's see how government will be run.
You spoke very well; brought out all the facts but concluded wrongly. We cannot just fold up our arms and allow them loot all we have. In fact what you suggested is what we have been doing. We allowed them get away with all the stealing and abuse in government. Now the stealing is not enough. Our own oil, they denied us the capacity to refine, because they want to make further billions from us. Our taxes they could not account for; the trillions from crude sales they embezzled; our borders they have managed for their pockets by giving selective import licenses and concessions to themselves and their cronies.

If they have managed our borders well, more of our youths will have jobs; but they allowed all sorts to be dumped on us by the countries of the worlds. As a consequence, our industries are dead. Simple policing with law and order they refused us; a working judiciary they also refused; our schools they destroyed so that our people will never be empowered while their own children they all train abroad.

What else must be do, than to allow them kill all of us.

I disagree with you on this, honestly. I think it is better when we meet them on the streets.

Truly lives may be wasted; but millions also have died as a result of their mis-governance. Methink it is better to die a brave man than to continue to die in cowardness as we have been dying. It is their wickedness that cause our average lifespan to be 47. Our people are dying in their droves as a result of the hardship in the land. Every stroke victim, every accident victim, every one that our failed hospitals could not cure of his sickness is killed by the criminals that rule us.

We must meet them on the streets before we all die. Meeting them on the streets, can create some accidental deaths, but it will save the millions that die as a result of the denials in the land. It will guarantee a better life for those that will live after.

What we should do is to ensure that after the confrontation, that we do not allow any member of the evil gang to come near our government. What we must do is to ensure that at the end of the fight, that  a true people's government is restored in our land.
PoliticsRe: Why Nigerians Don't Trust Their Leaders? by Godmann(m): 2:53pm On Dec 14, 2011
We cannot trust our leaders because they are criminals. They are a product of colonization. The west after looting our lands and colonising us, gave us their stooges as leaders. Those that tried o rule us for our good were killed by the West. Patrice Lumumba, Sanka, Muritala, etc.

This write gave a detailed story and I am grateful to the poster.

Can we as African's understand the message here. Can we see the root cause of the problems in Nigeria and the whole of Africa from this story. It happened to Congo because they were the richest country in Africa then. Today, Nigeria is the Congo of Africa and that is why we will never have true leaders until we fight enough for it.

The stooges that have destroyed our land, including the present one at Aso Rock are all Western stooges in the likes of Mobutu.

Nigerrians dramatically exaggerate their lot. There's no problems nigeria is facing that 90% of the third world isn't facing. Our problem isn't only our government its also the wrecklessness and self serving mentality of our people. Let's stop obsessing over government, the us wasn't developed by the us government outisde of military and building modes of gtransportation. Industry light science were all provided by free americans doing their part not the government. There are nigerians taking huge strides in and out of nnigerias gov to improve the country and all evidence shows were improving. This evil obj, didn't he give us debt relief, the efcc, strong economic growth and restore our role as a non pariah internationally by ending 2 civil wars? This evil yar adua didn't he end the niger delta crisis and svae us from total economic collapse? Did he not put order to the central bank by instilling sanusi who is only hated by nigerians out of all of the worlds ppls for tribal reasons? Under yar adua an igbo became head of military for the first time since biafra. Under the 2 of them did we not become africas largest telecoms entertainment and banking hubs in terms of scale and growth? Did this evil gej not give us Our fairest freest election to date? Has our power grid not improved? Nigeria now has 2 computer manufactures and 2 car assembly plants that didn't exist 2 years ago. Gej has strengthened our instituions and ruled 100% according to the constitution, he has oversaw nigerias fastest economic growth to date, and has caught the suspects of every single boko haram attack to date. Our governors are improving. Is fashola not 100X better thn tinubu? Rochas 100X better then the cross eyed bat he replaced. Amaechi better then odili? Imoke, sullivan, who are these people killing? Should they be overthrown for putting roads schools free trade zones polytechs industry and farming at the forefront? Nigeria went from having 0 telecoms lines under obj to being africas telecoms giant. No real banks in 2000 to being the worlds fastest growing banking sector winnin cbn of the year. And now were openning branches in the uk ghana us and elsewhere. Did gej not bring the railroads back? Nigerians when I lived back home were complimnted for avoiding starvation, now everyone is complimentedd for avoiding obesity because were becoming a land of excess. Our middle class is back, senators, governors and their lot have all been arrested for criminality,
For your information, every problem with Nigeria is tied to bad leadership. Nigerians in the 1960 were not the most corrupt people on earth. It is the government that shaped our mentality towards corruption because the poor masses see what is happening around government; the smelled the billions that connected people make from government. We all abandoned our farms because the government have teached us how to make easy money. The government is the father of corruption.

As for your so called achievement, he that wasted four years, destroyed millions only to achieve few things should be celebrated for the little things he achieved after wasting our 4/8 years, after killing so many people. Yes. Obasanjo supervised the emergence of telecoms, but what did he put in? nothing. He rather made 285million dollars both from Econet and MTN for the licence and could not provide infrastructure. He helped Globacom stole a licence they did not pay enough of after settling with them and the real owners behind.

People spent billions in research to invent GSM. Ours is just to sit and enjoy it. Our so called Telecom miracle is a lie. It is a technology that just arrived which we were just oppurtyned to benefit from. Find out when GSM technology came into being. If our government is serious, where are the landlines? What have they done to give us cheap and reliable connection? Nothing. Which country in teh world does not have land lines? None. Why is our internet connection poor and costly? because there are no land lines. Find out about broadband internet connections in other countries of the world. Our internet is all thru GSM because our criminal leaders that you want us to celebrate cannot provide the much needed backbones.

Obasanjo brought EFCC, but have been proven to be the most corrupt leader in Nigeria. A poor chicken farmer by 1999 is today one if the richest men in the world. Nigeria earned as much money under Obasanjo's 8 years as it earned from 1960 to 1999, where is the money? What about his term term? What about Bola Ige? Ogbonna Kalu? Hary Marshal and co? What about the atrocities in Anambra state? You want us to forget these oga?

Who gave us a sick and dying Yar'adua as President? Who gave us a man that could not manage his wife as President? Most importantly, why did he do so? This is a man you want me to celebrate? Which other crminality is worse than those? Tell me a country in teh world that a President was caught trying to alter the laws of the land? Were you not aware when Obasanjo tried to alter a passed Elecoral bill and proposed to his fellow criminal that they will call it printer's devil if caught?

So you honestly are not aware of all these? Or are they not criminal actions?

As for you Jonathan, what is happening in Bayelsa state? Is that Democracy? What decision has he taken like a man? Is he actually fighting corruption? Was he right to waste all our money in Australia at the same time he wants to further squeeze us? DO you not have unemployed in your house, in your village, in your street? Whose responsibility is it to provide an environment that can give them job? Whose responsibility is it to provide our security? Is safeguarding our money not part of security? what has GEJ done to reduce corruption? Has he shown any focus despite having nearly spent 2 years as Acting and full President?

Is Jonathan not part of PDP? How many years did it take Brasil to transform their economy? 10 years. How many years have PDP ruled us? What have they achieved? Producing criminals. They gave us MEND, they gave us MASSOB, they gave us OPC, they gave us BOKO HARAM. Find out the rule brains behind all these group. Are they not majority PDP Politicians?

Did your acheiver Jonathan with his fellow animal Atiku not share dollars in the last PDP convention? What does that mean -? - they have no regard for your national currency. How can people without regard for a national currency protect that currency and it economy. How can a man that deal in dollars protect naira?

If he cares about naira, inflation and our local economy; if he cares about our people, the poor people; will he be contesting minimum wage of 18k? As a lecturer did he earn as low as that? Has he lost his senses how painful it was to live on such small amount? What formula has he proposed to get us out of the mess? None.

Oga, they are all criminal and should be hanged.

Those of you that support them are either un-informed are sycophants that wants their own bread to be buttered. After all that is how GEJ got there and the whole nation is bearing the brunt of electing an unprincipled, un-educated, un-exposed coward to rule us.

I repeat, leadership is a serious business. No one can deliver a nation without knowing enough of past nation, without knowing enough of economy, without enough guts to stand his feet no matter the consequence, without enough empathy for his fellow men.

When next you want to vote for a President search out this type and Nigeria will change. Not scheming cowards. Obasanjo was a coward. Find out his record before he got to the top. That was why he turned dictatorial.

Watch out for GEJ, if he has his way, he will soon show his character; he will turn dictatorial. My knowledge of human psychology tells me that power is unsafe in the hand of cowards because they abuse it.

Watch out for it in GEJ, if what is happening in Bayelsa is not yet enough sign for you.

@Godman are u ok no matter what GEJ is still the president of Nigeria so a little respect is in order. More so it is not your place to comment on how he handles his wife. We don't need a revolution in Nigeria it will only take us years back. The once who will suffer most are women and children. U can make your point without insults.
A president that wastes a generation like all of them have done (not just GEJ alone) is worth for the gallows. They all deserve to be hanged for wasting our people. Our best brains are being wasted. Our opportunities and you tell me to respect them. Do I have another country or another life.

Any day that GEJ sits on that throne and refuse to do the right thing is a waste to all of us Nigerians. It is a grave waste to all the black nations that awaits on Nigeria to show the way.

If you can equate the pains they have caused us (including the children that they themselves will beget), you will be the first to condemn them.

It is not about GEJ, it is about our nation, our lives, our opportunities. I am annoyed because myself, my brothers, my friends, my generation have been wasted by those criminals without head.

A man that held his people down by bad policies is worse than an armed robber.

I am very okay and sound. GEJ is unworthy of my President. I cannot vote for his kind as my President. I m sure I have the facts better than him. That is why he is messing up.

People without knowledge should stay in their villages and allow well informed minds rule this nation. I want transformation, like he said. My annoyance is that I am so convinced even before the election that he lack every knowledge required to transform the country.

Even him admitted so as reported in Wiki leaks. But greed make him stay put. Now he is there and lacks any direction.

What I said about his wife is the truth and truth alone. Even you know it. Period.

He that cannot manage a house will never manage a country. It is only the big hearts and intelligent persons that can transform a nation. Schemers no do. Liar and manipulator cannot.

GEJ has kicked off the process to change the constitution. Among the fundamental issues he is gunning for are, true federalism and the abrogation of anti-people and anti-entreprenueral laws, such as the land use act.
Our President is a quiet guy, so you need to stick your ear to the ground to get a feel for what is brewing in Aso Rock (and it is bloody impressive cool); as soon as you begin to get a feel for where the country is headed, you will likely turn an avid supporter.

Just last week, it was quietly announced that states and local govts in Nigeria will be allowed to generate and distribute electricity; that in my opinion is an incredible display of the good things coming our way and our steady match toward development, it was another epic milestone in our corporate existence. And as always, it was done with quiet assurance.
The generator and PHCN mafia's have been defeated, next on the line is the petroleum mafia. Believe it, they to will be swept away, "revolution" or no "revolution." cool
I trust GEJ.

Nigeria must develop and no power below God can stand in the way.
Go tell that to those you can confuse. Animal liar without conscious. You know the hottest part of hell awaits you for all the manipulation. Tell us your name and occupation if you are so sure of your stand.

All these Misnomers did not start with GEJ and probably he wont be the one to end all of it. But at least he is trying to end some of it.

You know you are a hungry liar that is doing your master's wish. Where is the money that the country have been making from the crude? He that could not account for millions, will claims it is thousands that stopped him from working.

Do Nigeria as a country spend more money financing the so called subsidy than we make from crude oil sales? What have your stealing masters done with the crude oil money? Nigeria as a country earned more money under Obasanjo's 8 years than we earn from 1960 to 1999. Yet there is nothing to show.

Your master Jonathan increased Nigeria's debt profile from 21billion dollars  to 32 billion Dollars in just one year (from 2010 to 2011). Under Yar'adua it rose from 14billion to 21 billion in 3 years (2007 to 2010).

What did your criminal clueless mater achieve with the money? Can he that could not account for a talent ask for more?

Is your master not enjoying all the prestige in Aso Rock because he was elected to safeguard our security? Is he not the commander of Nigerian Army, Nigeria police, SSS, Nigeria Intelligent  Agency and the rest? Is these not enough to arrest all so called cabals that benefit from the subsidy?

Is it not those same people that benefits from the subsidy that financed your master's election? Did he not offer them our national honours for nothing.

How many times a year to doctors in nigeria go on strike? This is unheard of in most of the world n u still think protest is the answer? What are we protesting? Gej? Is he worst then yar adua? Was yar adua worst then obasanjo? Was obj worst then abacha and ibb? Were steadily improving, just calm down and do your part.
GEJ is going to be the worst President that have ruled this country. Your argument is wrong. I don't know how old you are. I got into activitism during the Abacha days. Believe me things are getting worse. Abacha was worse than IBB. Abdusalam was a Criminal. Obasanjo is a bigger evil that even wanted to rule us for life. Obasanjo created the problem we are in today. He created a sick and dying President in Yar'adua. He purposely picked GEJ as a weakling he can control as VP. Today circumstances have made the weakling the President and we are in a mess.

Study GEJ very well and tell if if he has taken a single decision as a man since he emerged. Has he even been able to marry Patience as a wife after years of living together? How can one that cannot shape a single woman (or divorce her if she is unchangeable), transform Nigeria?

Why are we deceiving ourselves?

Sorry, I don't have enough time to argue this out with you. At work and need to account for my daily pay. These are posting I have made on Nigeria this morning and reading through them, you can see my line of thoughts.

I am convinced I am right; and also ready to die if it comes to that.

Mass revolts are not always the best (Comment on Naira land) ?

These are the lies they have put into our head in order to stop our capacity to force change on them. Tell me an advanced country in the world that was not founded on mass revolt or revolution.

It is only thru REVOLUTION that the foundations for nationhood is built. Our problem in Nigeria is that we have not passed through that, because it is only during revolutions that the terms of nationhood are drawn.

You have heard of the American charter; you know of Britain and Magna Carta. These are the bases, the Charter, the agreement that gave rise to the understanding of their government.

India's Independent was a Revolution. Ghana's was because Kwame Nkrumah had was elected from Prison. Later there was also a Rawlings that helped to put it well into people's head (The terms of their nationhood). No one has ever drawn our own Charter. What we have is an amalgam of power hungry thieves.

Until we pass through that, nothing can work. It was only during Revolution that the ordinary masses will come to appreciate what government is all about. It is only after it that the rulers will come to appreciate also that real power belongs to the people (the masses.)

Revolution is like a foundation upon which nations are built.

I challenge any one to give me a progressive nation on Earth without a Revolution, not necessarily by wasting lives. But an forced transition.

Even the democracy that we all shout today, the human rights etc were founded on people's protest. People died to make me and you live.

We must be ready to die (if need be), to secure a better future for those after us. Or we all will ever remain in this mess. And I don't think God will forgive all of us who refused to act.

Because his first command as recorded in the Bible is that we should cultivate (dominate) the earth. It means that we should use our heads and hands to make the world a better place guys.

Ours is not just to lazy around and selfishly "enjoy" all the fun living on the sweet of past generations. We must also "sow", or certainly head to hell on the last day.

Also.

The mistake you guys make is to associate Revolution with waste of human life. This is not always true.
1. Revolution is just but a change forced on the ruling class. If you through European histories, you will see they have series of Revolution (Some violent and some not.) It is not for me and you to determine which Revolution will be violent or not. It is the ruling class that determines that. When the masses are determined for a change, the ruling class will want to counter them by force giving birth to possible loss of lives. If they ruling class perceives are reasonable or perceives there is no way they can win by force, they will yield to the demands of the masses.
2. Secondly, you can never reach a compromise with a thief. The ruling class knows quite well that they are destroying the country. But they also know that they are beneficiaries of this evil system. As a result they will never give up their advantage unless they are forced to. If you keep pleading for their understanding without element of threat, they will never give up. It is natural for humans to want to keep any advantage they have over others. The thieves will never give up those advantages unless they perceive forceful action that will put them to advantage. The fear of the people’s reaction can force a change. But if we all remain docile and pray that they will change; I bet they will never. Imagine your Jonathan who has just entered Aso Rock from poverty. He bought his first car by 1996 (a rickety car at that), but today he has forgotten his roots because he want to keep the advantage he has just gained over us. That is the way human minds work. You force change. You don’t plead for it.
3. Lastly, I wonder why you refused to answer my question. I want some one to tell me a progressive country on earth that has not passed through some kind of forceful demand for change by their people? This is what we are lacking. We need to awaken our people from slumber. We need to put it on their head that this government is our and must be accountable to us. We need to put it on every body’s head – both the governed and the government.
4. As for dying. Forget it. No one will die. If they try killing peaceful demonstrators, the International court will go after them. It is easier for them to kill in secret and this they have done and keep doing to date. But they will never have the gut to kill innocent and peaceful demonstrators. All we need do is to get all the international media to cover any protest and to make sure the protest is peaceful.
5. There are forces strong than that from the barrels of the gun. The force of justice, the force of logic any day will defeat crude guns. Never you be afraid of one.
6. And if you die fighting for justice, heaven becomes a sure gift. Always ask yourself, knowing fully that we will all die: He that dies today and he that dies yesterday, who is better? None. Will you want to die an uncelebrated coward, or would you want to die a celebrated heaven bound hero? Why didn’t Christ and the apostle’s abandon the Christian fate because of the deaths that awaited them?
7. What matters about death is the pains you might go through during the dying process and the people you will miss. Nothing more. Let get this into our head. Nothing can stop us from pursuing our rightful demands.

Guys

An average guys acts based on emotions. It is only few people that have the capacity to think. It's a duty on the "thinking people" to direct the others.

This is the way God created our world. The Developed countries are better not because their people are better than us, but because their "thinking" types are in governance. While colonization and neo-colonialism ensured our "thinking" ones never get to rule us.

That's the way the West manipulate us.

Let our "thinking" type rise and lead us in a fight to liberate our land.

To me. We are in slavery live the Jews of old. This slavery began over 400 years ago when Africa was conquered. Do not honestly have the time time to explain these things out; but the whole slavery, colonisation and "flag" independence granted to us in Africa are but a stage-managed Captivity.

Unless we fight (not with guns but with our heads), we will never win our freedom guys.

Let get this into our heads.

DAKAR (TrustLaw) – Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan is planning measures to cut authorities’ direct access to government funds in a bid to fight corruption, the West African country’s Guardian newspaper reported on Wednesday.
We shall definitely not celebrate corruption. We shall very soon set up a structure that will not allow government office holders to have direct access to funds that belong to the State called Nigeria,” Jonathan said at a meeting of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.

Civil society groups say corruption is rife among government officials in Nigeria and as a result, the country’s oil wealth has not benefited the majority of the people who remain poor.

The Nigerian leader, who has made the fight against corruption one of his major objectives, reiterated his government’s determination to combat graft but also warned that government officials were not the only perpetrators.

“If we all think that corruption starts and ends with political office holders, we will tackle it from a wrong side. But as a government, we shall tackle it systematically. That is why we have set up the various anti-graft bodies in Nigeria to fish out the corrupt elements among us,” Jonathan said.
