The benefits of Fuel subsidy removal would be negative initially on the poor masses but the situation would improve with time though it would have been better off if the government could concentrate on power and other sources of generating income like Agriculture, mineral deposits e.t.c
Brother/Sister,

There is no benefits. All the stories they are telling is are lies. What benefit do you derive from killing all your refineries when your youths lack basic jobs? What benefits do we derive from a government that admitted the existence of a cabal but lacked the gut to stop them. What benefits do we derive in a country called Nigeria as presently constituted and ruled by criminals.

What essence is our life when we cannot attain our full potentials and dreams, not because we are incapable or have not worked hard enough; rather because these criminals refuse to govern us. We should better confront them. I am ready. Are you ready?
PoliticsRe: Sanusi Wins Africa Person Of The Year By Forbes Magazine by Godmann(m): 5:26pm On Nov 30, 2011
I have said it on several forumn. The problem with Nigeria lies mainly in the South. It was the South that gave the north the prime minister in the 1960s. It was the south that fought the war against the East out of envy.

The Same south beg for Zoning, when they gave it to us, we turned around to condemn it; typical of selfish liars.

The South have elected the worst President Nigeria can ever have. A man that lack any direction. A man that could not even control a PortHarcourt Agbero called Patience.

I honestly disagree with some of Sanusi's banking policies; but Soludo and Obasanjo cultivated the grounds for Sanusi to act the ways he did.

But when it comes to integrity and honesty, I gave it to Sanusi. Ask any employee of First bank. Check out Sanusi's record in First Bank. If we are serious as a Nation, we should look out for character like Sanusi as President.

As for the crumbling, naira; it is impossible for Sanusi to help the economy when the government refused to observe some fundamental fiscal discipline. Our Government is just sharing money and there is nothing Sanusi to do to stop it. When he shouted about Salaries of Senator and house of rep members, what did we do?

Sanusi is not running the economy. He can only control the monetary policies of government. But unfortunately our banking ratio is too low. Most of our money in circulation is outside the banking sector. The government spends money like crazy without any production. So ours is just a Bazaar government.

We need Sanusi to enforce fiscal discipline as a President. We need Sanusi to reduce corruption in our land. He fought toot and nail with Bad debtors in first bank. He clean up their books. He will clean up Nigeria books as President. The guy to me is not corrupt.

Let come out of our ethnic emotions and be rational for once.

I disagree completely with you. I have read a lot of what happened 1966. The facts is that whereas Nzeogwu was a true nationalist and a committed revolutionalist,  he made the common mistake that his likes do. They always trust people believing that most are driven by pure and sincere purpose; which is not the case. I have studied the common mistakes of revolutionalist and it is always so. Nzeogwu was deceived by his compatroits. Ifeajuna that led the operation in the South was a born schemer.

Ojukwu schemed. So many of them did. Nzeougwu made the mistakes common with sincere young people.

Ojukwu was driven by ambition more than revolutionary and egalitarian principles. Find out how he schemed Nzeogwu out of the Biafran army. Find out how he ran the biafran army like Saddam Hussein ran Iraq. Try to understand the circumstances surrounding his roles in 1966 and the statement he made to his dad when he wanted him to run their family business and not join the army. "Dad, you made your name making money, I want to make my name in a different way". How else would one make a name in the army in the 1960's than to plan a coup and be a head of state as was common world wide in the 1960s?

Also remember that what we practiced then was parliamentary system of government where a coalition government can be easily dissolved by walking out of the government; to force the government in power to lack simple majority. In the 1960's the North barely have 1/3 and required the eastern NCNC to rule. When they were misbehaving, why didn't the East withdraw from that government.

You see our problem is corrupt elites from all tribes and not tribalism. Most Nigeria leaders present and past are very dirty. Our present elites must be replaced for the good of their nation and people. I guess their initial interaction with the colonial masters destroyed all their psyche.

They all lack gut and originality. They are all copy-cart that always look up to the oyibo man for every solution. They were never sincere and never understood what nationalism is all about. They do not understand the relationship, between politics, economy and the well-being of the citizens.

They lack imaginative ideas to link up our culture and science. They are just foooooools.

We must displace these fools from every nook and cranny of this nation for our tomorrow to be. It is not about tribe. It is not about names. It is about me and you. It is about our people, our land, our culture and most importantly, our race - the black man - that depends on Nigeria to awaken; because if Nigeria do not rise, African will never stand.

If for these cause I will die, so be it. I sign my death warrant. How many can join me. We require just a million to march on the streets of Abuja and our Revolution is born.

dayotee2:
Buhari is not clean, how can a clean man put up a coup to take over the governance of a nation thereby rubbishing a democratic process and mandate of the people , (his comment on abacha sold him out for me , claiming abacha did not steal a kobo from Nigeria is shameful) , the fact that he was neva probed or accused doesn't make him clean , just like every other past military head of state, none has ever been probed or indicted , let us just leave it at that , and the only time we ever attempted on probing them was at oputa panel and buhari did not show up to be questioned.

Buhari is in the same class as Babaginda, Abacha, Abulsalam , etc
Even as a Baby, I celebrated the december 1983 coup that brought Buhari to power. Shagari's NPN was just like PDP of today. The only Buhari was was to have spared the lives of the stealing politicians who were released from the detension that Buhari clamped them after overthrowing Buhari. As for being Clean. Even his opposers admits this.

Remember Obj in his normal way probed PTF when Buhari declared for ANPP in 2003 hoping to catch, him but he got nothing. If Buhari has stolen show me evidence of his wealth? He has only two houses, one in Kaduna and the other in Daura. He lives on his retirement Benefits. Even to fund CPC he could not. Have you been hearing stories of CPC being evicted.

Don't beleive stealing PDP members, Buhari is clean. You may say he is inclined towards Northern and Islamic interest; but he is clean. Give it to him.

Are you aware that the West started mounting pressure for SAP that destoyed our economy right from the last days of Shagari's government. Buhari rejected this. That was a major reason why America played a major role in getting Saudi Arabia to use the trap of invitation for lesser Hajji as trap for Idaigbon. Without that, Idiagbon and his loyalist would have been around to stop IBB's coup. Even IBB was placed on house arrest by Idiagbon for drug related offences. But Abiola, Yar'adua, the Danatatas with the help of US and Saudi helped to stage the coup that removed them.

SAP was imposed as a consequence and we are still paying for these with a dead economy and high unemployment rate.

Quick corretion, buhari did not cry for Nigeria, he busted into pre-planed tears (with his friends) when he got to 'this been the last time he would be able to contest for presidency' part of his dry speech , it was a cry of defeat as he sensed he has lost this one again after seeing the acceptance level of GEJ.

Just so you know, buhari is not a democrat, till date he has never won any election, never ever not even a primary , 2ice he contested on ANPP platform he did not contest and did not win but other contestant (Rochas okorocha, Harry Akande etc) were forced to step down for him , even in cpc he didnt contest in any primary election , he left ANPP for CPC because Shakarau will not step down for him and he saw it coming ,

The solution to Nigeria's problem in not in any of the idea Buhari holds currently , shamefully he thinks he has supporters but in actual fact, most seemingly intelligent youth that support his last candidacy did so because of Bakare ,
I disagree with u. Buhari has supporters. Buhari is clean. My probs is that he is getting too old. We want young men like him. He should help us fish out one; and should not insist on contesting again.

US my foot. Will they run their economy and run ours? Why are we poor if not for their sake? Are they not the makers of SAP that destroyed our economy and our jobs?

How do you expect your competitor to advise you? Can your competitor be a referees in a football match? Are you not away that the countries of the world are in an economic war. They war of resources. Economy is all about the flow of resources and whoever gets more resources to flow in and out of his country becomes a winner.

So US can only advise us for their own goods.

ak47mann:
removal is still on course is not going anywhere it had gain enough support cool

Whether we like it or not fuel subsidy will go one day. It is better we bear the pains of the removal and start saving for our children's future now. Or do we want our children to pay for what they did not benefit from in future? Lets not be selfish like the Greeks who are now paying for the extravagance of their older generations.
Of course it will. But obviously not now. It is simply, why are our refinery not working? Answer that question and you get to the root of our problem as a nation. It is GEJ's task to fix our refinery and not to squeeze the citizens.

Yes there is subsidy, but they are telling a half truth. The fuel subsidy exit to the margin they are claiming because the rich and connected guys cooks up lies in the name of imported petroleum products; and get paid by our idiotic government. There should not be subsidy in the first place, because oil abounds in our land, and refining petroleum is not a difficult task.

But your government made sure our Refineries are dead. They also refused to licence new Refineries to capable hands (you know what they do is to run Nigeria for their individual pockets - like Obj, Abacha, IBB etc). Majority of them built refineries abroad; they also steal more than half of our crude oil through illegal bunkering. So, they prefer selling us refined petroleum products from their private refineries abroad, than allow or build local refineries. In such ways, they will make enough money for themselves. They want to sell back the refined oil back to us in an international market rate, forgetting that the oil is ours in the first place.

Remember Abacha raised fuel prices several times in the name of fuel subsidy. Obasanjo did same more than 5 times. Jonathan wants more money for himself and the easy way is to further squeeze us in the name of fuel subsidy.

Fixing our refinery is not an option because those that donated money for him during the election are the mafia that control fuel import. Creating Jobs or even running a decent economy is not an option for him because he lacks the intelligent to figure out how to create jobs or run an economy. He lacked the gut and sincerity to fight corruption in the country.

All he wants is to navigate his way through by squeezing me and you; and also making enough money for himself, family and friends. Are we to tolerate this? Are we to allow them kill all of us?

Are we not supposed to stand up to them and force them to run our country properly.

As we are talking, they have increased electricity tariff. They have invented a useless costly vehicle licence scheme meant to extort more money from us. They want to get more money from us through fuel price hike in the name of subsidy removal. They care not about the inflation that will result as a consequence. If fuel price goes up, transport prices will jump up and all food prices will follow. Every other commodity price will climb up. This is massive inflation. This will further destroy our niara that is crumbling every day against world currencies.

What this means is that the money we have will loose substantial value and become useless. It means that our life savings in naira (for those that have), will turn to rubbish as a result of loss in value.

Remember Jonathan and Atiku share out dollars during the PDP primaries, meaning they run their life in dollars; meaning they care less about our naira; meaning they can easily convert their very dollars savings and buy off what me and you have. Meaning our salaries will be rubbished.

So it is not just about a common increase in fuel price; it is our life. It is our future.

We should and must resist them. We must present facts against their lies.

We must resist them even with the last drop of our blood.

OP,
a revolution must have a leader, and one without any baggage at that.
If i wake up today and say i want to start a revolution, how many people will follow me? perhaps less than hundred, simply because the public doesnt know my credentials.
now in nigeria, which person can is both popular and righteous/credible enough to start (and fund too, cos revolters must eat)?
buhari? most people belive he has deep islamic tendencies/ too old--------------baggage
Falana? close to ACN/ defends corrupt governors undecided--------------------------baggage
Dora? don't even get me started

the truth is at this stage, a revolutionn may never happen in Nigeria, and it isn't because the 'average nigerian youth' is a coward, i personally believe a lot are ready to die but the truth remains they'll likely die in vain!!!!
to drive change in Nigeria, we must look to peaceful means e.g why can't a group of young Nigerians decide to monitor each ministry through the use of FOI, constistently monitor their expenses and probably put them online for our numerous accountants to analyse? say 500 people take petroleum and all of it's depts and agencies, another takes police affairs, then we probably will drive a change we want.
Who led the Egyptian Revolution? Who led the Tunisians? Who lead the several that the British have had? Who lead the American Revolution?

I do not believe that Revolution must have a leader before it takes off. What is mandatory is that denials prompts revolution. Revolution in most cases is instantaneous and not pre-planned. It is during the act that leaders emerge.

We have enough conditions for revolution in Nigeria. We are just waiting for a spark that will start of the revolution because the land is ripe (thanks to the denials and irresponsibility in the land). When it takes off. Leaders abound. I am one; you are one. In our midst are so many good leaders. The circumstances will make them manifest.

Kobojunkie:
Ok. . . . now we are talking. Revolution needs to first happen at the state and local levels, and this has to happen in each state. People in Abia state for instance have to first correct the issues at home before they run off attacking those in Abuja.  We already have democracy . . .  the Revolution we need is getting Democracy to work for us and it has to start right in our individual backyards FIRST. When we have tackled this, then we start talking of a National Revolution. Speaking of Revolution, in my opinion, is 90% State and local, and then 10% federal. We have Democracy, we just need to demand it be put to work for us at the base levels and then at national levels.
See, no Revolution can start from the villages and get to the center. Nigeria is corrupt and bad, not because our people are bad. It is simply because the power at the Center (Abuja) have failed to act right over the years; it rather sent bad signals which down that encourage people to be corrupt. That was how the bad behaviours emanating from Abuja trickled down to every nook and cranny of our land. That was how we became a country of corurpt people. When you know how the rich guys around you make their money, you will tempted to follow their evil ways when there is no evidence of punishment meted to them; especially when you have serious denials.

Because of the amount of the resources at the centre (It is only Abuja that can enforce the laws. it is same Abuja that dispenses the resources; deciding who becomes rich or poor), it is very impossible to mitigate the destructive influence of a powerful center. But if one takes hold of the centre, the resources will be deployed to clean up the country. How does it sound preaching to a hungry man to act right when he looks beside him and there is a well fed rich guys thief who has not been punished by the law in any way. Any child wants to be successful. When you notice the ways of the successful people around you as a child, you take to them.

It is because the only way to be rich and successful in Nigeria is via corruption (Thanks to a corrupt Abuja), that so many of us are taking to corruption. No amount of preaching can stop this. The only ways is to met out appropriate punishment to law breakers and compensate people rightly.

Give appropriate remunerations and punishments and Nigeria will be clean.

To all serious minds, Let concentrate our efforts at the center because if we take hold of Abuja, Nigeria will be made. It takes just 4 years rule to transform our mentality, just be giving effects to our laws. Even common sense laws without all the constitution and edicts is enough to guild us through.

As for those that insist on changing our families first: good luck. But note, you cannot transform a hungry man; yet you will never have enough to fed the hungry man unless Abuja cleans up.

PoliticsRe: Why Did Ojukwu Kill Victor Banjo? by Godmann(m): 5:05pm On Nov 29, 2011
Banjo refused to follow his instructions to the latter but choose to bargain with Yoruba leaders. This made it possible for the Nigeria side to re-ogarnise and avoid the worst possible catastrophe that would have turned the war to the advantage of the Biafrans.

The Biafrans were fast approaching Lagos, the Nigeria side had no military positions in the Western axis; Gowon was planning a rapid vacation of Lagos as a last option. But Banjo choose to delay and effectively allowed the Nigerians time to go into, not only a defensive position and an offensive one that pushed Biafra back to the East.

Also when Banjo crossed the Niger Bridge, they declared themselves a Mid-Western force and not part of Biafran (probably to win sympathy of the non-Igbos ) across the Niger.

I am not an Ojukwu's supporter in any way, but Banjo involved himself in some misadventure outside the orders given to him. Killing him though was too harsh a treatment; especially when they were friends.

But I am not in support of Buhari contesting again. We do not want another dying man in office. We deserve a younger person.

Gowon and Awo took all the money to the center because they envied the old East for the emerging oil money.

If I am lying, what happened during Obasanjo Conference in our life time. When all the Eastern and South-southern governors voted for increase in derivation and the West sided with the North to keep us with a bloated Abuja that have all the money. You will also want to deny the conference

You are lying with facts.

Katsumoto:
It appears that many people are unaware of what really transpired, are too lazy to really research what transpired, and are ever ready to accept the versions passed on to them.

Can you tell us how many individuals crossed over to AG from the NCNC? What are the names of those that crossed from NCNC to AG? It appears that some disingenuous individuals are bent on lying to the ignorant public. There were two sets of elections. NCNC won all 5 seats from Lagos but the Western regional house would select 2 members from Lagos to go to the federal house. The AG used its majority to select Adedoyin and Olurunnimbe; is that not democracy? The AG won 45 seats, the NCNC and the Mabolaje Grand Alliance won 35 seats together. After the government had been formed, three NCNC members crossed to the AG because they needed AG votes to get to the Federal house. Kessington Momoh, Awodi Orisaremi and Ako were the three members that crossed from NCNC to AG. Curiously, none of the three was Yoruba.

In any case, the alliance between the NCNC and MGA fell apart and NCNC's seats were reduced to approximately 30. Could the NCNC have been in the majority if it had the 5 from the MGA and the three that left? Hell no, it would have had 38 seats to AG's 42 seats.

I will provide two interviews from two witnesses at that time, TOS Benson was from NCNC (Zik's Party) and Ayo Adebanjo from AG. I will also provide the results of the election. Please bear in mind that the results reflect the voting pattern of the public and not results after any phantom members crossed to AG.

"I will like to say this: I will challenge Mbu that Mbu you were still young at the time; you should remember those members of your party in the West that the Action Group bought. Stop maligning us that they bought your members. There is no doubt that some members of the NCNC joined us after we had established our majority in the House of Assembly because they hated being in the minority. How was their majority that Azikwe was denied of going to the centre because it is the majority party that would vote for a member, even though at that time if the NCNC had been unanimous, it should been easy for Azikiwe to go to the centre. But NCNC again had a split. There was Dr. Olorunnimbe, there was Adedoyin and there was Adebola. There were five of them, but there were two members from each division to go the Federal House. Lagos had two, the Eastern region had some numbers but Lagos then was part of the West, so it was the Western House of Assembly that would choose them. And NCNC was lucky at that time; they won all the five members from Lagos. So, there was no way the Action Group could have had a representative from Lagos if the NCNC had been unanimous. But the NCNC thought they were going to choose Dr. Azikiwe and Dr. Olorunmimbe but Adedoyin now told them he too wanted to contest as a member from Lagos and the Action Group chose Olorunnimbe and Adedoyin. Now, that is an easy way for you to demonstrate to you that we are in the majority. If we had bought your members to form a government, by the time we were now voting for a representative of the region to go to the centre, your members should have voted for Azikiwe." - Ayo Adebanjo

"When it came to the issue of sending two people from Lagos to the Centre, NCNC which won the five seats in Lagos chose Zik and Olorunimbe, but at the election that followed in the Western House of Assembly, Zik was voted out and Olorunimbe and Adedoyin were voted in. At this point, the only route available for Zik as the leader of the party was through the Eastern House hence the Eastern House was dissolved. Zik contested to the Eastern House of Assembly and from there to the Centre." - T.O.S Benson

Dude so you also wanted me to accept your lies. Even if I can accept these lies; what about the destruction of Nigeria Federalism? You do not think your never do bad Awo was guilty.

He was on the table where inexperienced Gowon and Co changed our true Federalism to a Unitary system. And you think this was the act of sainthood? You think he did not act myopically? Why are your people shouting for Sovereign National Conference today, when your all knowing Awo did otherwise?
PoliticsRe: Exclusive - Chief Obafemi Awolowo On Biafra (in His Own Words) by Godmann(m): 2:48am On Nov 28, 2011
All the stories about the war apart, who brought tribalism to Nigeria politics?

How many of us know about carpet crossing? my question for the Yorubas is, what did Awolowo tell the Yorubas that cross-carpeted from NCNC to AG. That marked the birth of Tribalism in Nigeria politrics.

Before that Eyo Ita A Calabar as we Igbos call them is the HEAD of NCNC in the East, An Hausa was a mayor of Enugu. It took Awolowo's instigated cross carpeting in Lagos, to stop Zik from being the first Premier of Western Region. This forced Zik to come back to East and displace Eyo Ita as the leader of NCNC in the East. That was the origin of the Problem between the Igbos and our Calabar brothers.

Of course that was the birth of the mutual suspicion between the Igbos and Yorubas. That would be the only reason while Zik would prefer joining the NPC and not Awo to form a government after our Independence. I also suspect the British must have encouraged Zik also to join the North.

Also, today we are all shouting true Federalism. Was Awolowo not responsible for destroying Nigeria Federalism? He was the only Experienced politician in Gowon's cabinet when they turned our Federal constitution up-side-down. Before the war, funds were shared purely on derivation. The regions have 60% while 40% goes to the center. The collection of the funds were the responsibility of the regional government. During and after the war, they gave the whole funds to the Federal government. They gave the collection to the Federal government. Awolowo was like a father in that cabinet. He was in the midst of young men most of whom look up to him. Yet he allowed all these abnormalities.

Today, the Awoist are more in demand for a true federalism and principle of derivation to be brought back to our constitution. The very principle that Awolowo helped to destroy. Who can explain these to me.

Sorry, I am not holding only Awolowo to account. After a study of Nigeria political past, the only man I can excuse for being a "good but ignorant fool" is Tafawa Belewa. Zik cannot come too clean, just like Awolowo. Ojukwu has his own manipulations. Sauduna, though worked for his people helped in dividing the country more.

To me, we do not have any past hero. These people laid the foundation for the hell of a country we are in today. Forget it they were all mostly driven for the lure of power. We can do better as youths to avoid their bad ways.

The only hero we would have had was Nzeogwu but like all progressives, he under-estimated the powers of the evil men around him. I personally hold Ojukwu responsible for his death. Not only is there a great suspicion that he was killed by Biafran soldiers, Ojukwu refused to assign a command to him out of fear. Nzeogwu as a hero he is chose to operate a one man show - going up the Nsukka axis of the war to fight alone until he was killed. I have people that told me personal accounts of how he operated during the war. Still shed tears when I read or hear about him.

If only Nigeria youth can appreciate this fallen hero the way American black celebrate Malcom X. Nzeogwu was more like our Malcom X.

Side talk: It is nice I just find out I shared same birthday with the Yoruba sage. It will be good if I can whare his intelligence but not as selfish.

ShangoThor:
Absolute tosh, there is no curse it is just an excuse.

My generalization about Black Africans is that our Societies in general and the majority of our people(s) lack objectivity, in particular are non scientific and have a fundamental problem when it comes to following rules.

We have not been able to devise systems of governance that yield super intelligent rulers. We basque in mediocrity. We focus on crumbs (petty differences) instead of focusing on the massive pie.

Some might discern low IQ as the issue but this does not mean that there are masses of Black individuals with high IQ's in existence across the globe. The bottom line is that there will always be exceptions (flukes) to the rule.

My big question is, how many super intelligent rulers have we had in the Nation State of Nigeria in 51 years? And I'm not talking about military rule neither. If a leader came along that was sincere and argued that he wanted to rectify the malfunctioning State in his manifesto, most Nigerians would primarily focus on his/her religion, region, ethnicity.

We are not cursed, we just need these foreigners to get out of our affairs. We must also stop going to them for everything and do everything ourself. We are sitting on everything that we need but foreigners always intervene and cause problems.

Africans contributed greatly to this world check this video out:

Chocolate people also colonized white Europeans.  The moors colonized Spain, Portugal, and Italy for 780 years 711 to 1492. Was this taught in class?  Without the moors Christopher Columbus would not be able to go to the Americas.  We taught them about the Americas.  Africans have been going to the America's for 1000s  of years before Columbus. Look up the Olmecs. The same gods in the Aztec area are in the Egyptian area.  Chocolate people taught the Aztecs how to build pyramids.

The Moors also went to present day America and traded with them.  We also did a lot of science. Look up Moorish science.
Horus:
This is not true at all. Haiti, once called The Jewel of the Antilles, was the richest country in the Caribbean in 1804. Perhaps the most serious blow Haiti ever had to her independence and self-image was the occupation of the United States Marines. In 1915 they invaded and occupied Haiti. U.S. Marines went straight to the Haitian national bank and removed its gold reserves to Citibank in New York City. The Haitian constitution was rewritten to allow foreign ownership of Haitian property; land was seized from small peasants to create large plantations; the economy was reorganized so that 40% of Haiti’s gross domestic product flowed to U.S. banks. This is how Haiti became a poor nation. The Haitian people fiercely resisted the occupation in a series of revolts which the U.S. military ruthlessly crushed, murdering leaders, burning villages to the ground and killing 30,000 Haitians. The occupiers did not leave until 1934. The American occupation had a crippling impact on the island nation, whose agriculture had been devastated by warfare.
Thanks for trying to teach the fools here that will never learn anything but "copy and paste" the white apes that destroyed Africa. Let the fools try go back to 400 years years history and figure out how Africa was destroyed. Let them try figure out how and why Muritala, Sankara and Patrick Lumumba among many others were killed for all for the Whites to continuously control Africa. Let them figure out why stooges without intelligence like GEJ have been ruling every African country till date while the whites have geniuses as leaders. Let them find out how CIA, KGB, M16 among others impose stooges on us as leaders. Let them find our how their interfere in our election and manipulate our elections. let them just take a cue from what Wiki leaks reported about Shell pocketing Nigeria Government with Spies in every government Department. Let them figure our the number of ministers even in Nigeria that are CIA, M16 agents. How will these sell out transform our country? How will "mumu" GEJ and his likes without brains, people that can hardly understand world history transform Nigeria or Africa.

The task before us is to understand their game, take over our leadership and face these stealing West that destroyed Africa. Let them leave us alone to elect our leaders and we can build a better country. If only our youths can get the message

When the first Europeans stepped their feet in Africa somewhere around Angola 50 years ago, they met a city better than theirs but with their guns, they destroyed and ravaged that city and took all the men to slavery. How many centuries did slavery last? How many cities were destroyed? How much money have they stolen from Africa? How many African have been killed for them to control our government? How many of the coups in Africa were not planned from Washington, London and co? Which African dictator was not backed by Western Powers? From Mobutu to Humphrey Boitney(or so )  of Ivory Coast.

Unless we have more people like three of you guys, we are doomed with these people that refuse to know the truth; people that will rather accept western lies and brainwash.
PoliticsRe: South-east PDP Endorses Fuel Subsidy Removal by Godmann(m): 2:00am On Nov 28, 2011
Any body can say any nonsense. Let GEJ try increase fuel price and his government will be goner.

Where are they squeezing us to? Increasing electricity bill, extorting money from us in the name of changing Vehicle number plates; wants to increase fuel price.

In the midst of these, naira exchange rate is just crumbling; food prices are going up, people are dying in Jos, borno; no plans to do anything.

The  GEJ must be dealt with if this country can progress. He is just a stealing dump fool.

PoliticsRe: Can Nigeria Become A Developed Country? by Godmann(m): 4:58pm On Nov 22, 2011
Nigeria can if and only if there is a REVOLUTION that brings in a people's oriented Government.

Tell me a developed/progressive country without a revolution?

Revolution creates  grounds for the people to take ownership of the government. Unless we achieve this, we will remain the way we are.

If you want progress, work for change/Revolution (Not necessarily by waste of blood by a serious conviction to reclaim what belongs to us.)
