PoliticsRe: Reuters UK Predict GEJ Victory In 2015 by GodMode: 10:30pm On Oct 29, 2014
AdeCisco:
I believe this Reuters report because Nigerians whom Jonathan govern are gullible, senseless, corrupt and myopic and also mediocre. Little mind. Looters, rapists, imbeciles!

Anybody born from 1970 upward can never know how good governance under the Buhari regime can be possible unless they research.

Okay, Jonathan may win again but Buhari will always be my hero. I will tell my unborn kids about the true soldier who wept for Nigeria.

Jona may win again, but all those who will vote him in and rig him in, in my book of rhymes like Nas will be fools and mediocres!

This is basic micromolecular enough for you to understand. Yeah you. You.
The article does not support jonathan or buhari... It insults them and Nigerians... Its an article with indirect messages in it.

Blakyclyde:
I've read the first 3 paragraphs 3 times and I'm yet to see the insult you're talking about.

Back to the topic,
Reuters have said it all, especially with reference to the #BringBackOurGirls campaigner, Isaac Matthews.
Inasmuch as I'd like to see Jonathan out of Aso Rock, I'd still vote for him if Buhari wins APC primaries.

But sadly, Nigerian democracy hasn't reached that stage where the electorate vote base on realities on ground. Rather, they do it based on ethnocentricism and religious leanings.
I can't wait for 2019 to be over so that we'll get a fresh party in power.
Its a sarcastic article written by a very good writer.... but the blindness PDP has bestowed on you won't let you see it.... The article has many hidden messages.....

If you are not a political e-rat then Nigerian education is dead it just hasn't been buried...

naijaloaded nd lindaikeji no more have AdSense on their sites what happened? naijaloaded to me is not dat serious again. even small www.amebocity.com is even more updative than them
All this cheap publicity won't take you anywhere.

Go and buy ad space like that guy. The forum is already in top 80,000 sites in the world and top 600 in Nigeria in less than one year of existence.

Vinshu:
I advice you use 2checkout.com or you use PayPal. Dont ever use anything in Nigeria. All the Nigerian things and people are fraudulent. Even you are not genuine.

2checkout is the best processor for your website or use neteller.
Neteller does not accept Nigerians and with Paypal Nigerians can't receive money... It also depends on what he wants to sell.

Don't be quick to post rubbish.. Just because NL mods are not doing their job. Calling people frauds on the net can do serious damage.
RomanceRe: A Guy I Like Seems To Be Ignoring Me. by GodMode: 10:09am On Oct 23, 2014
I've done this to a lady some years ago.... I totally ignored her and she always stared at me..... I was attracted to her but I couldn't let anything distract me from achieving my dreams.... Today, she's happily married to another guy and I'm still single chasing that same dream...

Op, he may or may not be attracted to you...

In reality,
If you don't talk to him now... your feelings will fade with time and you'll move on.... but you won't forget this opportunity you once had... at least talking to him won't make the world end.

I don't like GEJ or any Nigerian politician but I have to admit infrastructural development has really improved under his tenure.Look at the railway projects, airports, Hospitals and Homes being built around the country. Even electricity has improved in some parts of the country, it makes you wonder what the other lots have been doing. Having said that, I think he should get a Nobel price for being the dumbest leader for the way he has handled the security issues affecting the country which has destroyed thousands of lives. They are only sorting it out now because of the elections around the corner..
The guy only commissions the guy no get hand for any development wey u mention.

All this non-computer science students/graduate be arguing trash. if u were a computer science student/graduate, pls go back to your books bro.
I studied Finance Ooo.

Its english that's the problem.. Computer codes are written in a list or steps from up to down, and are read and interpreted line by line.

I'm not even a java coder. My knowledge of java is not even basic. I got used to php and js(but still a beginner in this languages).. So I decided to try C++, C#, Java.. I chose C++

To be honest mate the last thing I want to do is argue with anyone on this man's thread. He asked a question and I stepped in to help and I'm glad he's more positive about his chances of being a good programmer.

I also think that you should know it's an abomination to use Wikipedia to back up academic arguments. Please click on this link to get a better understanding of this issue. Pay close attention to the second paragraph.

http://www.ehow.com/info_10060065_difference-between-algorithms-pseudocode-programming-languages.html
I don't argue with people I give them answers with proof.

I showed u the "english" explanation of algorithm. Even the site u put said the same thing:

"An algorithm is simply a series of steps you
follow when solving a problem. You list the
steps in the order they should be
performed."

Note: I said "Hope u can see "finite list" above. Every computer code is an algorithm."

Wikipedia is one of the best sources of info.. Just because someone wrote some stuff about it means nothing

Urine:
The guy wey I ask question understand am and he don give me intelligent answer.

As for you saying a Java class is an algorithm, I can only smh. Thank God the young man knows better.
Every java code must begin with a class.

According to wikipedia:

"An algorithm is an effective method expressed as a finite list of well-defined instructions for calculating a function."

Hope u can see "finite list" above. Every computer code is an algorithm.

When you know multiple languages, it makes you a better programmer. In fact it is said that to be a good hacker, you must know at least 5 solid languages. If you are a one-language person, you will never appreciate the power that comes with knowing multiple languages - because you have never wielded such a power - so attempting to commonize it is just an attempt to make yourself look foooolish. @Godmode
Who said anything about been a hackerhuh

Some people just want to be programmers...

The beginner web developer needs knowledge of at least 2 languages (one client side and one server side)

I don't consider html/css and SQL programming languages but they are needed in web development..

For desktop, a person will only need C/C++ or Java or python. What's the point of learning all 4 of them when a person can hire experts in those languages.

Most desktop coding languages can do the same thing.. Like I said in my previous comment

"The number of programming languages a person knows doesn't matter its how you use it and how fast you want to complete a project that matters."

Means that the time a coder will use to create a program will determine the language of choice.

There is no frontend framework that will give you that functionality I just described, not even bootstrap - don't even go there at all. Some things are best done using generic coding. Is twitter / facebook using bootstrap and all those nonsense libraries? Godmode, you speak like a copy-paster, too much talk and no action.
Is this dhtml18 other monikerhuh

Do u understand my comment at allhuh

Twitter created bootstrapangry so they use it.

When you say piece of cake. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .they are not that straight forward as you think. People tend to under-estimate HTML/CSS and make a lot of mistakes about it.
If you can design a layout similar to what i did on Nairaland, and make it work across all browsers [stupid browsers like: internet explorer 6, opera mini, Netscape 9, mobile phones, tablets and regular desktop browsers] (with basically html/css), then and then only, maybe you are licensed to call html / dhtml a piece of cake.
As per languages, I can claim expertise of over 10 programming languages - dont be deceived by the name "dhtml" (just a moniker).
Very easy with a css framework.... But quite time consuming without a framework.

YOUNGSTUNA pls be deceived by his moniker...

The number of programming languages a person knows doesn't matter its how you use it and how fast you want to complete a project that matters.

But in the words of Bjarne Stroustrup "you can't call yourself a professional if u don't know at least 5 languages".

^^^That's just his opinion.

It's the govt OOOooo.... Police work for the govt but they won't enforce the law.... if someone is speeding beyond the limit isn't it the job of the govt(police department) to stop the person.

hope you read the post well. I didn't say i want a web designer. Just a domain
ask google how to transfer to self-hosted site but if you want a domain name and hosting go to a hosting website... some hosting sites are:

dreamhost-dot-com
hostgator-dot-com
namecheap-dot-com (mainly for buying domain names)
siteground-dot-com

make sure you check the one that's affordable.. some sites host a website for $30 per year(especially for low traffic sites) some host for $120 per year.. and stop telling people the name of the domain you want...
