Better processing power, more battery juice. They both pack the same camera units except for the front camera.

K20 has 24-bit/192kHz audio Mi 9 SE doesn't. Mi 9 SE has IR over the K20 which is not a deal breaker for a lot of people, how many OEMs look that way these days.

All in all, the K20 is still a better device. If you use the small screen excuse for preferring the Mi 9 SE fine. But in other aspects they are not mates.

I already alluded to the fact that the k20 is the new Xiaomi flagship, but if all u wrote there is all there is to the difference btw both, then I guess it's a stretch to say the SE is dead because of the k20 particularly since the SE is considerably cheaper.

It is for this very reason I didn't buy the MI 9 in the first place.

When I compared the specs and discovered that the MI 9 SE and mi 9 were almost the same in the areas I'm interested in, I quickly settled for the SE because of the smaller size.

The difference between both was not really decisive enough for me save for the SD difference, but then I'm only using it as a second phone so in the end it never mattered

They are almost same spec by the way, and where the k20 has upper hand are almost superficial or features that an average user does not notice or even care about.

Besides, the k20 is still more expensive and the mi 9 SE is smaller in size. This to me is decisive as I hate big phones with a passion.

Even though I use the MI 9 SE (because it's smaller, just 5.9', don't really like big phones), the satisfaction I get from every touch on this device is heavenly.

Like he said, device is so sleek and has a premium feel. I just like holding this phone.

The camera in broad daylight gives exquisite pictures, one of the best I've seen. The skin tone is excellent and the colour is brilliant. The selfie camera is not the great but it's good enough.

I sometimes feel guilty, like I really cheated the company consideration the amount I got this phone for.

And u know what? Folks always conclude on their own it's an iPhone when they see it with me
