FAKE NEWS! Lagos Police Command Debunks Social Media Reports On Late DC Admin; Says, DCP Khan Salihu Was Never Kidnapped, He Died After Brief Illness

Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

It is heart-wrenching and disappointing for the family, friends, and associates of late DC Finance and Administration of the Lagos State Police Command, DCP Salihu Khan who died yesterday Monday 15th June afternoon, and was just buried early today according to Islamic rites to get on social media to find that a campaign of calumny is being championed by a group of Nigerian social media users against the memory of the late gallant senior police officer, complete gentleman, and breadwinner. It is an agonizing experience for the immediate family. It doesn't do justice to the legacy of a man who has been described by the Lagos State Police Command as a highly respectful and loyal senior officer. It is like pouring salt on an open wound, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

For the avoidance of doubt, the late Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Khan Salihu died yesterday after complaining of being unwell. In fact, he reported to the office at Lagos State Police Command before he checked into a hospital. DCP Khan was never kidnapped by suspected criminals at any time prior to his demise. Any report circulated on social media or through any other means contrary to the truth is entirely false, misleading, and a complete fabrication with no basis in fact whatsoever.

To further this assertion, the Lagos State Police Command, the agency that DCP Khan worked with till his unfortunate incident, highlighted in its press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers NAOSNP by the Command's Spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi stated that: 'The Command wishes to state categorically that prior to his passing, DCP Khan Salihu briefly complained of feeling unwell and was immediately rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Sadly, upon arrival, medical doctors confirmed him dead.'

'At no time was he abducted, kidnapped, or involved in any incident remotely connected to criminal activity as falsely portrayed in the publication,' the Command added.

The statement released by the Lagos PPRO, SP Abimbola Adebisi finds it rather disturbing that any individual or group will ride on the sadness of a family to trend online. 'The Command finds it deeply disturbing and professionally disappointing that such a spurious and unverified story could be published by a recognised media platform without the slightest attempt to verify the information from the appropriate authorities.'

'This represents a serious breach of the fundamental principles of responsible journalism and has unnecessarily misled the public while causing avoidable pain and distress to the family, friends, and professional colleagues of the late senior officer. The publication is not only inaccurate but also insensitive, particularly at a time when the Command, family members, and loved ones are mourning the loss of a dedicated and accomplished senior police officer who served the nation with distinction.'

The Lagos Command is, thus, issuing a stern warning and immediate demand for a swift withdrawal of the false report, while urging the media organisation concerned to issue a public correction and apology in the interest of truth, professionalism, and public accountability.

The Command also encouraged members of the public to disregard the publication in its entirety and rely only on information released through official channels of the Lagos State Police Command. The Command remains committed to combating misinformation and will continue to provide accurate, timely, and verified information to the public.

Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated bulletproof vests and ballistic helmets to the Lagos State Strategic Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security operations and enhance the safety of law enforcement personnel in Lagos State.

The protective equipment was presented to the State Commander of the NDLEA Lagos State Strategic Command, Assistant Commander General of Narcotics, ACGN Abubakar Liman Wali, by the Director of Administration of the LSSTF, Mr. Adegbola Lewis, on behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Fund, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan.

Also present at the presentation were the Head of Media and Advocacy, NDLEA Lagos State Command, Assistant Commander of Narcotics, ACN Mallum Musa; the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Assistant Superintendent of Narcotics, ASN Azeez Akinsola; and other officers.

Receiving the protective gears, ACGN Abubakar Liman Wali, expressed appreciation to the LSSTF for the intervention, highlighting that the nature of narcotics enforcement often exposes officers to significant operational risks, thus the provision of modern protective equipment is essential and effective to support successful field operations and personnel welfare.

Established in 1989, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) is Nigeria’s foremost anti-narcotics agency mandated to combat the cultivation, production, trafficking, sale, and abuse of illicit drugs and psychotropic substances. The agency is responsible for investigating and prosecuting drug-related offences, dismantling trafficking networks, reducing drug demand through public education and advocacy, rehabilitating drug users, and collaborating with national and international partners to protect communities from the devastating effects of substance abuse and drug-related crimes.

DIG Adegoke Fayoade Kickstarts Southwest Security Tour, Visits Gov. Makinde, Olubadan
• Assures rescue of abducted Oyo pupils, teachers through technology

Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, DIG in charge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the Southwest geopolitical zone, DIG Adegoke Fayoade, mni, has commenced his official tour of the Southwest region with a series of strategic engagements in Ibadan, Oyo State, aimed at strengthening security collaboration and enhancing policing effectiveness across the zone, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The tour began with courtesy visits to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, where discussions centered on deepening partnerships between the Nigeria Police Force, government institutions, traditional authorities, and local communities in promoting peace, security, and sustainable development.
During his meeting with Governor Makinde, the DIG commended the state government's continued support for security agencies and emphasized the importance of intelligence sharing, community policing, and inter-agency cooperation in addressing emerging security challenges across the Southwest. He noted that collaborative efforts remain critical to sustaining the relative peace and stability currently enjoyed in Oyo State and the region at large.

At the Olubadan's Palace, DIG Fayoade acknowledged the crucial role traditional institutions play in grassroots security, conflict resolution, and community engagement. The monarch, in turn, lauded the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining law and order and pledged continued support towards ensuring a safer Ibadanland and Southwest region.

As part of the tour, the DIG also visited the Oyo State Police Command Headquarters, where he addressed senior officers, rank-and-file personnel, and stakeholders in a strategic lecture focused on professionalism, discipline, intelligence-led policing, and service delivery.

Speaking during the engagement, DIG Fayoade assured residents of Oyo State that the Nigeria Police Force is deploying advanced technological tools and technical expertise to secure the release of pupils and teachers recently abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, efforts are ongoing and yielding results, stressing that the police are committed to ensuring the victims are rescued safely without any collateral damage.
"I can assure you that technology is already being deployed in the rescue operation. It is only a matter of time before the abducted pupils and teachers are reunited with their families. Our priority is to bring them back alive, hale and hearty," the DIG stated.

He explained that the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Ridwan Disu, had directed all Deputy Inspectors-General to embark on nationwide sensitization and operational assessment tours to engage officers and communities while strengthening public confidence in policing.

Describing technology as the backbone of modern policing, DIG Fayoade emphasized that the Force has continued to leverage digital tools, intelligence gathering systems, and technical expertise to combat crime and enhance public safety.
"Whatever crime that comes up, we deploy our technical experts and available technology to ensure such crimes are resolved within the shortest possible time. Technology remains indispensable in modern policing," he said.

The DIG further urged police officers, including Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers and tactical commanders, to prioritize professionalism, transparency, and quality service delivery. He stressed that public trust remains one of the most powerful tools in effective policing and warned officers against actions capable of eroding public confidence.
"The only way to build trust is through sincerity, objectivity, prompt response to complaints, and quality policing services. Stay away from perverting justice. Make yourselves available whenever there is a problem and move swiftly to serve the public," he charged.

He noted that maintaining cordial relationships with citizens would encourage the flow of credible intelligence necessary for tackling crimes and other social vices threatening national security.

Addressing stakeholders present at the event, DIG Fayoade called for continued vigilance and support for security agencies, emphasizing that community participation remains vital in the fight against criminality.
"The Southwest must remain safe and secure. We will continue to deal decisively with all forms of crime and criminality, but we need the support of the people through timely and credible information," he added.

Earlier, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Command, CP Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola, welcomed the DIG and expressed confidence that the visit would further enhance the operational capabilities of officers through the strategic insights, knowledge-sharing sessions, and interactive engagements organized during the tour.

CP Abimbola also appreciated the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, noting that his transformational vision continues to inspire professionalism, discipline, innovation, and excellence throughout the Force.

The Southwest tour is expected to take DIG Fayoade across the six states of the region as he evaluates operational activities, engages critical stakeholders, and strengthens institutional partnerships necessary for effective policing and improved security outcomes.

The Ibadan engagements have set a positive tone for the tour, reflecting the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to proactive policing, technological innovation, strategic partnerships, and community-driven security solutions aimed at ensuring lasting peace and safety across the Southwest.

Car TalkLagos Police Command Impounds 50 Vehicles In Enforcement Of Number Plates by Godspowerpro(op): 12:12pm On Jun 16
‭Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Fatai Tijani has hinted that about 50 vehicles were impounded across Lagos yesterday Monday 15th June, 2026 for infractions as the Lagos Command commenced statewide enforcement against vehicles with covered, obscured, unauthorised, defaced or no registration number plates. The action was in compliance with the directive of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, aimed at enhancing public safety, strengthening security, and denying criminal elements the opportunity to conceal their identities and activities, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Speaking with journalists after the exercise yesterday, CP Tijani said: “Some are still coming in because others are at the divisional level or area commands,” he added, warning that impounded vehicles may be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to motorists who ignored earlier warnings.

He stressed the security risks of obscured plates, noting such vehicles can be used by criminals and evade detection by road cameras. “If criminals use vehicles with covered plates for crime, even our cameras cannot capture anything. If the vehicle is stolen, tracking becomes nearly impossible,” he explained.

“This is a note of warning to all motorists who think this is a joke. We are serious, and this will be a continuous exercise,” CP Tijani stated.

He urged motorists, transport operators, fleet owners, and members of the public to ensure that their vehicles carry valid, duly issued, and clearly visible registration number plates at all times. Vehicle owners are also encouraged to ensure that all relevant vehicle documents are up-to-date and readily available for inspection when required.

The CP was accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Area Commanders, and Divisional Police Officers during the operation.

The Graveyard Meeting

Three days later, David received an anonymous phone call.
A trembling voice instructed him to come alone to an abandoned cemetery outside town.

At midnight.
Against his better judgment, he went.
There he found Musa.

Terrified.
Hungry.
Exhausted.

And standing beside a freshly dug grave.
What Musa revealed changed everything.

Chief Ekanem had not died naturally.
He had been poisoned.
The evidence proving it was hidden inside the corpse.

Someone powerful wanted the body buried quickly before an autopsy could expose the truth.
That was why Musa stole it.

But before Musa could reveal the killer's name, gunshots erupted from the darkness.
The cemetery became a battlefield.
And Musa fell.

The missing cleaner was known simply as Musa.

Forty-two years old.
Quiet.

Invisible.

The perfect suspect.
Yet David was unconvinced.

Musa had worked at the mortuary for eleven years without incident.
Why suddenly steal a corpse?

The answer arrived unexpectedly.
While searching Musa's tiny apartment, David discovered a photograph hidden beneath a mattress.

The photograph showed Musa standing beside Chief Ekanem.
Not as an employee.
As family.

On the back of the photograph were four words:
"Find out the truth."

Now the case had changed.
Musa had not stolen the body.
He had taken it for a reason.
But what truth was he trying to uncover?

Episode 1: The Missing Body

The corpse disappeared at exactly 2:13 a.m.
At first, the nurses at the government mortuary in Benin City thought it was a mistake.

Bodies did not simply vanish.
Especially not the body of a prominent businessman.

Yet when the night attendant opened Drawer 17, the compartment was empty.
Panic spread through the building.
Within an hour, police officers flooded the mortuary.

The missing corpse belonged to Chief Monday Ekanem, a wealthy transport magnate who had died under mysterious circumstances three days earlier.

Rumours had already surrounded his death.
Now his body was gone.

Detective Inspector David Eze arrived shortly before dawn.
One glance at the empty drawer told him something important.

The body had not been stolen randomly.
Someone had come specifically for Chief Ekanem.
And they were willing to risk everything to get him.

Before sunrise, David discovered something else.
A mortuary cleaner had vanished the same night.

[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The FCT Police Command has successfully rescued five kidnapped victims following an intensive joint rescue operation conducted in the Byazhin area of the Federal Capital Territory, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Acting on recent kidnapping incidents within Paze community in Byazhin area, the Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, PhD, FCAI, personally led a clearance operation with a team comprising operatives of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, the NPF Intelligence Response Team (IRT), and Kubwa Area Command, in collaboration with local hunters and vigilante groups.

On 9th June, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the joint security team launched an intensive search, clearance, and rescue operation across Paze and Byazhin communities. During the operation, the team engaged suspected kidnappers in a gun duel, resulting in the neutralization of two suspects and the arrest of two others identified as Icheh Mohammadu and Abubakar Usman, while other gang members fled into nearby hills with varying degrees of bullet wounds. During the operation, the police team also recovered two AK-47 rifles with magazines. The Command therefore calls on healthcare practitioners, private and public hospitals, and members of the public to promptly report any individual presenting gunshot related injuries or seeking treatment under suspicious circumstances.

The sustained pressure mounted on the criminal elements forced them to abandon five hostages, who were promptly rescued unharmed.

The rescued victims have since been taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention, while efforts are ongoing to reunite them with their families. Meanwhile, search operations continue across the general area and adjoining communities aimed at apprehending the fleeing suspects and dismantling the criminal network.

The Commissioner of Police commended the bravery, resilience, and professionalism displayed by the operatives and supporting local security volunteers during the operation. He reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to combating kidnapping and other violent crimes across the Federal Capital Territory.

Members of the public are encouraged to remain security conscious and report suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or through the Command’s emergency numbers: 08032003913, 07057337653.

Orders Inter-State Patrols To Strengthen National Security

‭Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has approved the deployment of Deputy Inspectors-General of Police (DIGs) to their respective geopolitical zones with effect from Monday, 15th June 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen operational effectiveness, improve supervision, and enhance security coordination across the country.

The deployment, announced during the monthly conference with strategic senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force at Force Headquarters, Abuja, is aimed at bringing strategic leadership closer to the field, strengthening accountability, and ensuring prompt response to emerging security threats. The DIGs are expected to work closely with Assistant Inspectors-General of Police and Commissioners of Police to enhance operational oversight and ensure the effective implementation of policing directives.

In furtherance of this objective, the Inspector-General of Police also directed all Commissioners of Police nationwide to immediately establish coordinated inter-state security operations tagged "Handshake Patrols" with their counterparts in neighbouring states. The initiative is designed to strengthen intelligence sharing, improve operational communication, and facilitate joint responses to crimes that cut across state boundaries.

The IGP noted that criminals often exploit jurisdictional gaps by committing offences in one state and escaping into another. He therefore charged Commissioners of Police to maintain regular engagement with neighbouring Commands, conduct coordinated patrols along major entry and exit routes, and adopt a regional approach to addressing security challenges.

The Nigeria Police Force remains committed to intelligence-led policing, strategic coordination, and inter-agency collaboration aimed at protecting lives and property and enhancing public safety across the country.

[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, has charged senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force to remain proactive, intelligence-driven, and adaptive in addressing the evolving security challenges confronting the nation, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The charge was given during the monthly conference with strategic senior officers of the Nigeria Police Force held at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Peacekeeping Centre, Force Headquarters, Abuja, on Tuesday, 9th June 2026. The conference brought together Deputy Inspectors-General of Police, Assistant Inspectors-General of Police, Commissioners of Police, and other senior officers to review the nation's security situation and assess ongoing policing strategies.

Addressing the officers, the Inspector-General of Police noted that the country continues to face security threats ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, cult-related violence, terrorism, banditry, farmer-herder conflicts, and cyber-enabled crimes. He emphasized the need for stronger leadership, improved coordination, and effective operational responses to ensure the Force remains ahead of emerging criminal threats.

The IGP disclosed that since the last conference held in May 2026, the Force has recorded significant operational successes, including the arrest of eight suspected terrorists, fifty-five kidnapping suspects, sixty-five armed robbery suspects, twenty-nine murder suspects, and forty-two suspected cultists. He further revealed that eighty-eight kidnapped victims were rescued, while one hundred and fourteen firearms, eight hundred and forty-three rounds of ammunition, and twenty-eight stolen vehicles were recovered through various operations across the country.

The Inspector-General also directed Commissioners of Police nationwide to strengthen intelligence gathering, deepen community policing initiatives, and institutionalize regular stakeholder engagements with traditional rulers, religious leaders, youth groups, market associations, transport unions, and other critical community stakeholders. He stressed that public trust and community partnership remain indispensable to effective policing and crime prevention.

Reaffirming the Force's commitment to professionalism and accountability, the IGP urged senior officers to lead by example, maintain discipline within their Commands, prioritize personnel welfare, and ensure strict compliance with established operational procedures. He further emphasized the importance of effective engagement with the media to enhance public understanding of policing activities and counter misinformation.

The Nigeria Police Force remains committed to intelligence-led policing, strategic leadership, community partnership, and the protection of lives and property as it continues to strengthen internal security and public safety across the country.

CrimeKarma: He Said He Deserved What Happened by Godspowerpro(op): 7:02pm On Jun 08
Yesterday, I came across a bandît’s TikTok post. What I saw in the comment section left me heartbroken.

‭Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

Hundreds of Nigerians had flooded the comments with all sorts of insensitive remarks. Some were asking to join them. Some were inviting them to come to their states. Some were openly begging them for money… blood money obtained from ransom payments made by fellow Nigerians through tears, fear, pain, and broken hearts.

Some people even joined their live sessions and dropped their account details for giveaways.

What hurt me the most was seeing others defend such behaviour as cruise.

If you decide to caution them, they will say you’re taking things too seriously. Some people were even saying things like;

“It’s just for fun na.”

“E no really mean anything.”

“Let’s enjoy the cruise and move on.”

Hmmm…

Maybe that’s true. Maybe it’s all cruise.

But I want to share a true-life story. Perhaps someone will understand that every action, no matter how small it seems today, can leave consequences that last for generations.

During the Obasanjo administration, a police officer was posted to a station in Itokin. Due to the security challenges in the area at the time, he and his colleagues were often stationed around Itokin Bridge.

One night, on May 6, 2001, a woman who had just returned from the United States was travelling back to Ijebu-Ode. It was already late.

As she approached Itokin Bridge, armed robbers attacked her. Her vehicle was badly damaged during the attack. Fortunately, the sound of gunshots alerted nearby police officers, who quickly rushed to the scene.

On sighting the police, the robbers fled without taking anything.

When the police officer leading the patrol team approached the woman, she was still alive. She was badly injured, but she could still have survived if she had been rushed to the hospital immediately.

As the officer got closer, the woman pointed weakly towards a nearby bush. Inside it was a bag containing money the robbers had been unable to steal.

The officer checked the bag.

It was filled with dollars.

At that moment, everything changed.

The desire to save a dying woman suddenly gave way to greed.

He deliberately sent the other officers after the fleeing robbers so they would not discover the money.

The same police vehicle that should have been used to rush the woman to the hospital was instead used to chase criminals who had already escaped.

And just like that, the woman died.

Years passed. The police officer retired and relocated to Ijebu-Ode.

In April, 2019, there was a high-profile kid^napping incident around Itokin Bridge. The officer escaped unharmed.

Grateful to be alive, he called his children abroad and told them he wanted to celebrate both his survival and his birthday together.

A double celebration.

But life had something else waiting for him.

A few weeks later, on May 6, 2019, his two children were involved in a fatal accident close to Itokin Bridge while going to Ijebu-Ode immediately after they arrived in Nigeria.

They died instantly.

When he arrived at the scene and saw where it happened, he froze.

It was the exact same spot where he had abandoned that woman to die on May 6, 2001.

Seventeen years earlier.

The officer later shared the story himself.

He said he deserved what happened.

According to him, that was only one of many atrocities he committed during his years in service. Yet somehow, that particular incident never left him.

He confessed that the money he stole that day was the same money he used to send his children abroad and support them for years.

For seventeen years, life moved on.

He forgot.

He convinced himself it was in the past.

Even after escaping the kidnapping incident weeks earlier, he never once remembered the woman.

But the moment he stood over the lifeless bodies of his children, every detail came rushing back.

Every choice.

Every moment.

Every act of greed.

Every second he chose money over a human life.

I do not know whether that is how karma works.

But I know this:

Every action has consequences.

Maybe not today.

Maybe not tomorrow.

Maybe not even in ten years.

But nothing truly disappears.

Especially when it is built on another person’s tears.

If you choose to celebrate band!ts, glorify kid^nappers, support criminals, or benefit from the suffering of innocent people because there is money involved, I will not stop you.

I only want to remind you that consequences do not always arrive immediately.

Sometimes they wait.

Sometimes they grow quietly in the shadows.

Sometimes they come when life is finally good and you think you’ve gotten away with everything.

And sometimes, they arrive through the people you love most.

The frightening thing about evil is not that it pays today.

The frightening thing is that the bill often comes years later, when you have forgotten the debt ever existed.

Somewhere tonight, a father is still crying because he sold everything he owned to pay a ransom.

Somewhere, a mother is staring at an empty chair because her child never came home.

Somewhere, a family is trying to learn how to breathe again after burying someone they loved.

And while they mourn, others are online laughing, joking, begging criminals for giveaways, and calling it cruise.

Maybe it is cruise to you.

But for somebody else, it is a lifetime of pain.

One day, the comments will disappear.

The livestreams will end.

The jokes will stop trending.

But the tears of victims will remain.

And if there is one thing life has taught us, it is this:

Money stained with another person’s pain never truly brings peace.

Before you celebrate evil because it looks profitable, remember that every ransom payment carries someone’s tears.

Every stolen fortune carries someone’s sorrow.

And every act of wickedness leaves a footprint that time can never completely erase.

May we never become so entertained by evil that we forget the humanity of its victims.

Because the saddest tragedy is not that criminals exist.

It is that ordinary people can gradually learn to laugh alongside them.

And when a society begins to laugh at the pain of its own people, it is already bleeding from wounds deeper than it realizes.

How Contact Marketing Services Limited Helped Beamer Microfinance Bank Drive Brand Visibility, Customer Acquisition, and Market Penetration in Ikorodu

Ikorodu was not the place I expected to witness one of the most practical demonstrations of how Public Relations, Experiential Marketing, Sales Activation, and Community Engagement can transform a brand's relationship with its target audience.

As marketing professionals, we often discuss customer acquisition, brand visibility, market penetration, and consumer engagement in boardrooms and strategy sessions. However, seeing these concepts come to life in a real market environment provides a completely different perspective.

In May 2026, Contact Marketing Services Limited partnered with Beamer Microfinance Bank to execute a strategic market activation campaign across Sabo Market 1, Sabo Market 2, and Sabo Market 3 in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The objective was clear:
Increase awareness of Beamer Microfinance Bank's products and services.
Improve customer acquisition and account openings.
Strengthen trust within the local business community.
Position Beamer as a preferred financial partner for traders, SMEs, artisans, and entrepreneurs.
Create meaningful engagement between the bank and its target market
.

What stood out most was not simply the visibility generated by the campaign but the deliberate execution strategy deployed by Contact Marketing Services Limited.

From strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to field execution, customer interaction, market penetration, lead generation, and brand advocacy, every stage of the activation was designed to create measurable business outcomes.

Arriving in Ikorodu early that morning, I immediately noticed the commercial energy that drives the local economy. Sabo Market serves as one of the busiest commercial hubs in the area, attracting thousands of traders, business owners, and consumers daily.

This environment presented the perfect opportunity for a financial institution seeking deeper market penetration.

Upon arrival, I met with the leadership team overseeing the activation, including Dr. Ransome Oboh, General Manager of Contact Marketing Services Limited, and members of the sales and activation team who were coordinating activities across the market clusters.

The execution demonstrated the importance of experiential marketing as a business growth tool.

Rather than relying solely on traditional advertising, Contact Marketing engaged directly with consumers, educating them about Beamer's financial solutions, answering questions, generating leads, building trust, and converting interest into meaningful business conversations.

The campaign combined:
Experiential Marketing
Brand Activation
Consumer Engagement
Financial Literacy Advocacy
Sales Promotion
Lead Generation
Market Penetration Strategy
Community Relations

This integrated approach enabled Beamer Microfinance Bank to establish a stronger emotional and practical connection with potential customers.

Leadership Feedback
To understand the effectiveness of the partnership, I conducted an interview with Mr. Olayinka Olatunji, Managing Director of Beamer Microfinance Bank.

How would you assess Contact Marketing Services Limited so far?
According to Mr. Olatunji:
"Our experience has been very positive. The positive sentiments generated significantly outweigh any concerns. We have been impressed by the proactive approach, strategic recommendations, and commitment shown by Contact Marketing Services Limited in helping us improve our products, services, customer engagement, and sales initiatives."

How would you rate customer acquisition and conversion performance through the partnership?
Mr. Olatunji responded:
"On a scale of 1 to 100, I would rate the conversion and new customer generation performance at 85%."

This rating reflects strong campaign effectiveness, particularly considering the competitive nature of the financial services industry.

How does Beamer Microfinance Bank align with Contact Marketing Services Limited?
Mr. Olatunji explained:
"Technology remains a key enabler of business growth for Beamer Microfinance Bank. Through our partnership with Contact Marketing Services Limited, we have been able to reach wider audiences, improve brand perception, increase customer engagement, and attract more individuals and businesses into our banking ecosystem. The feedback received from the market has been overwhelmingly positive."

Business Impact
The activation delivered significant value in several critical areas:

Brand Awareness
Increased visibility of Beamer Microfinance Bank across major commercial hubs in Ikorodu.

Customer Engagement
Created direct interactions between the bank and thousands of potential customers.

Lead Generation
Generated qualified prospects interested in banking products and services.

Trust Building
Strengthened confidence in the Beamer brand through face-to-face engagement.

Market Penetration
Expanded the bank's presence within key trader and SME communities.

Customer Acquisition
Contributed to increased onboarding opportunities and business growth.

Why This Matters
Many organizations invest heavily in advertising but fail to establish meaningful connections with consumers.

Contact Marketing Services Limited bridges that gap by combining strategic planning, sales activation, public relations, experiential marketing, and field execution to deliver measurable business outcomes.

The Beamer Microfinance Bank activation demonstrates how effective market engagement can translate into stronger brand visibility, improved customer acquisition, increased trust, and sustainable business growth.

For brands seeking deeper market penetration, stronger customer relationships, and measurable return on marketing investment, this activation serves as another example of how Contact Marketing Services Limited continues to drive results across industries and markets in Nigeria.

Lagos Is Safe, Secure And Battle-Ready, Ogunsan Assures Residents As LSSTF Equips All DPOs, Area Commanders, Tactical Squad Commanders With Bulletproof Vests, Helmets

‭Psalm 150:6 KJV‬
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

At a time when security concerns continue to dominate national discourse and several parts of the country grapple with varying forms of criminality, Lagos State is making a proactive and affirmative stance on security and well-being of its citizens, and is warning every criminally minded to stay away from its shores, either by land, air, or water. This is why the Lagos State Government is optimizing its security efforts through sustained and well-funded security architecture built on deliberate institutional support and collaboration.

Earlier today Friday 5th June, by the instructions and orders of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan presented bulletproof vests and ballistic helmets to all Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), Area Commanders and Tactical Squad Commanders across Lagos, in a firm affirmation that Lagos possesses the capacity, resources and institutional framework required to maintain its status as one of the safest environments for business and living in Nigeria.

Speaking during the official presentation ceremony, the Executive Secretary/CEO, LSSTF, Dr. Ogunsan, reassured Lagosians that despite security challenges confronting parts of the country, Lagos remains safe, secure and fully prepared to confront any threat to public peace and safety. "For those who intend to perpetrate evil, Lagos is not the place. Our responsibility is to secure this state and we will pursue that responsibility with all our strength. The officers standing behind us today are only a fraction of the men and women who are prepared and committed to protecting lives, safeguarding communities and stopping criminal elements in their tracks."

Ogunsan noted that the protective gear was deliberately presented to senior police leaders to reinforce leadership from the front. "In response to the confidence that Lagosians have reposed in us, we are empowering the agency that they have entrusted with securing them. The job is simple - to secure Lagos. And we are doing that with renewed strength and determination because these are challenging times. While the security situation across the country demands vigilance, we are committed to ensuring that those challenges do not find expression within our domain."

"We have been equipping security agencies across the board for several months now, not just the police but all security formations operating in Lagos. However, we felt leadership is critical. That is why today we are presenting these items to all DPOs, Area Commanders and Tactical Squad Commanders. When leaders are adequately equipped, they are empowered to lead their men from the front and inspire confidence throughout the ranks."

Ogunsan paid glowing tribute to the Executive Governor, Gov. Sanwo-Olu, describing him as a leader whose commitment to security has remained unwavering.
"We have invested significantly in security through the support of Lagosians and under the leadership of our competent and able Governor, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The Governor has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the safety of residents. He constantly reminds us that Lagosians must be safe and well protected, and he has continued to support every initiative aimed at strengthening security across the state."

Ogunsan also expressed gratitude to Lagosians whose contributions and support continue to make the interventions possible.
"Our mandate is very clear. We were established to support all the security agencies in Lagos, most especially the police who head internal security operations. But first, we must thank Lagosians for making available the resources that enable us to procure these security assets. These bulletproof vests and helmets you see today are made possible through the trust, contributions and support of the people of Lagos."

On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Fatai Tijani, commended Governor Sanwo-Olu and the LSSTF for what he described as another milestone in strengthening Lagos' security architecture.

According to him, the support being consistently provided to the command places a greater responsibility on officers to deliver excellence in service and public safety.
"To whom much is given, much is expected. Lagosians should expect nothing less than excellence from us. With the tremendous support we continue to receive from the Lagos State Government and the LSSTF led Dr. Ogunsan, we are battle-ready and fully committed to ensuring the safety and security of every resident of Lagos."

The presentation of the bulletproof vests and helmets sends a strong message of reassurance to residents that while security challenges may persist in various parts of the country, Lagos remains focused, prepared and determined to stay ahead of criminal threats through strong leadership, effective partnerships and sustained support for security agencies.

EPISODE FIVE
Twenty-Two Minutes

The expressway had almost emptied now.
Rain blurred the city lights across Lekki into ghostly reflections.
Ethan drove blindly, breathing heavily.
The woman behind him remained silent.

Watching.
Waiting.

Then the burner phone rang one final time.
Ethan answered desperately.

Please… what do you want from me?

The female voice spoke softly.
Confession.”

Tears gathered in Ethan’s eyes.

I didn’t kill her…”
“But you destroyed her
.”

Silence.

Then the woman in the back seat leaned forward slowly.

You left her alone after everything you did.

Ethan broke completely.
I was scared,” he whispered.

Outside, headlights suddenly appeared directly ahead.

A truck.
Wrong lane.
Moving fast.

Ethan panicked and swerved violently.
The car spun across the wet expressway.
Metal screamed.
Glass exploded.
Darkness swallowed everything.

Twenty-two minutes after the first phone call, emergency lights flashed silently against the rain-soaked road in Lekki.

Inside the destroyed Mercedes, Ethan Cole sat motionless behind the wheel.
Alone.

The back seat was empty.
No black bag.
No burner phone.
No passenger.
Only Ethan.

And one final voicemail playing repeatedly through his damaged phone.
You cannot outrun guilt forever.”
