• Says Chude Nnamdi now under investigation for cyberstalking

The Nigeria Police has warned social media users to intimate themselves with the cybercrime laws in force in Nigeria so as not to fall into the wrong side of the law. The Force PRO, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi in a press statement made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP gave this hint today when he confirmed that one Mr. Chude Franklin Nnamdi with Twitter handle ‘@chude__’ was arrested in Onitsha, Anambra State on the 18th of March, 2023 for cyberstalking.

National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP also gathered that Chude is now being investigated by the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC) Abuja, for cyberstalking, pursuant to a complaint received via a petition, about his activities on social media which contravenes the provision of Section 24 of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015 and other criminal laws.

Furthermore, a prima facie case has been established against him while the case file has been forwarded to the Force Legal Department for further action.

In view of this, NAOSNP can report that the Nigeria Police Force has urged members of the public to familiarize themselves with provisions of the law and be aware of the penalties for violating them most especially cybercrime laws with the new trends in the digital media space.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba yesterday hailed the performance of the men and officers under his command nationwide for a great job in protecting the sanctity of the electoral process. He made this known when he patrolled and monitored the gubernatorial polls in Kafanchan, Kaduna State on Saturday 18th March, 2023.

National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP gathered that the IGP patrolled by road. His convoy moved through Abuja, Buhari, Jere, Kwoi, Kafanchan, Jos, and Kaduna.

Meanwhile, during the process, IGP Usman Alkali Baba interfaced with senior officers of the NPF, military, and paramilitary at various points while on the patrol. 'We believe we have done well in policing the electoral process, while we promise to investigate some of the infractions identified during the polls', he said.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, today, Friday, 17th March, 2023, reassures Lagosians, of its commitment, towards ensuring peaceful and conducive atmosphere, devoid of electoral violence, crimes and criminalities that could lead to the break down of law and order during the upcoming 2023 Gubernatorial / House of Assembly elections, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can reports.

The former deployment of three thousand six hundred and forty (3,640) officers and men for the recently, concluded Presidential / National Assembly elections held on the 25th February, 2023 remains sacrosanct and they have been fully mobilized for the next election.

The Corps' personnel have also been deployed to jointly, work with the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force and other sister agencies, at different strategic locations ; such as the offices of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), collation centres various polling units, various locations and points across the state .

However, the Command will also not rest on its oars, in fulfilling its mandates on the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure such as; oil and gas pipelines, telecommunication, railway installations and power installations, buildings and offices, amidst many others belonging to the Federal, State and Local Governments before , during and after the elections.

The above tactical deployments of the Command, were being drawn, from various departments and units, such as; Operation, Intelligence and Investigation, Anti - Vandal, Armed Squad, CNAI, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosives ( CBRNE ) Unit, Area Commands and Divisions, Quick Intervention Squad ( QIS ), Special Female Squad ( SFS ), Agro - Rangers, Crisis and Disaster Management, Counter - Terrorism, Peace and Conflict Management and Anti - Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration Unit, ( ATHIMU ) et ce tera.

The NSCDC, Lagos State Commandant, Commandant of Corps Usman Ishaq Alfadarai, fdc, mnim, mpa, fisn, however, sa[i]id, "in a bid to ensuring, free, fair, credible and peaceful conduct of the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections, scheduled to hold tomorrow, Saturday, 18th March, 2023, the Command has identified some lessons learnt from the previous election and has made efforts to improve on those grey areas for better performances and results[/i].

CC Alfadarai also assured the general public of the Command's readiness to ensure the smooth conduct of the election, through sensitization of the public, regular meetings with stakeholders, synergetic co - ordination, with the NPF, who is the lead agency, in election security and monitoring and other security agencies, who are members of the Interagency Consultative Committee on Election Security ( ICCES ), chaired by the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner and co - chaired, by the Commissioner of Police in the state.

It is also worthy of note to inform the general public of the need to make good use of the channels of communication made available, through the joint control room comprising representatives of all security agencies saddled with the election security and monitoring.

Having summoned, the Area Commanders and Divisional Officers for a strategic meeting, on Wednesday, 15th March, 2023, meant to review the previous election, identifies grey areas and accesses the level of preparedness of field, operational and tactical commanders towards the forthcoming Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.

The State Commandant has also re - instituted special monitoring teams headed by Deputy Commandants of Corps to supervise different Senatorial Districts, Area Commands and Divisions as well as Patrol and Monitoring teams under the general supervision of the State Commandant before, during and after the elections.

The struggle to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu from detention by staunch members and supporters of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has literally turned into a comic series. It must really be exhausting, the constant scheming to riddle the internet with different kinds of false narratives churned out on a daily basis just to paint government black and sell their arrowhead, Nnamdi Kanu as the “Saint.” Saint indeed. Since his arrest and detention for terrorism, IPOB has not rested on its oars in using blackmail, fake news and propaganda to draw an illusionary image of their leader suffering, being maltreated or bedridden with one illness or the other in detention. Ridiculous and almost laughable is the adoption of blackmail and other devises by IPOB. Shortly after Kanu was incarcerated, the group began imposing pointless sit-at-home orders in protest to blackmail government to release him. IPOB insisted that weekly Sit-at-home directive would be enforced until Nnamdi Kanu was released unconditionally by the Federal Government. It is inconceivable that the group could think that cheap blackmail could be used as a tactic to arm twist or pressure the Nigerian government to release Kanu.

To further prove that the members of the group are nothing but ignorant, inept, imbecilic, empty skulls, they did not factor in the economic devastation of the sit-at-home or on their own kin and kinship. Almost a year down the line, the sit at home Hullabaloo achieved nothing other than grounding commercial activities and leading to an economic loss estimated at trillions of naira, loss of innocent lives and destruction of properties with majority of the victims sadly Igbos. In a clear attempt to use economic pressure to achieve their goals, the group has on several occasions threatened to disrupt the economy by calling for a boycott of goods if Kanu was not released.

Propaganda is another tactic used by IPOB to secure Kanu's release. The group has been painting Kanu as a hero and a victim of oppression, portraying his arrest as an attack on the Igbo people and their quest for self-determination. They have also been using social media to rally support from their followers and to spread their fake news and misinformation. It is however encouraging that these tactics has been met with criticism from some Nigerians who view it as divisive and aimed at promoting ethnic nationalism. It is becoming glaring to the public that the devises of IPOB are nothing short of malicious and evil intentioned.

In all IPOB’s failed effort, the Nigerian Government has not flinched, neither has it given in to IPOB’s demand so they moved to using fake news and misinformation to secure Kanu's release. The group has been spreading false information about the state of Kanu's health, claiming that he is in critical condition and in need of urgent medical attention. Indeed, desperation is the enemy of rationality. Otherwise why continue to plant stories and exaggerate false news about his health condition. From lies about his heart failing to persistent ear defect to fake news of him being poorly fed in detention, IPOB never grows weary of such ludicrous speculations. At some point IPOB claimed Kanu was being denied change of clothing because he mischievously refuses a change of raiment each time he was to appear in court. But sources have however continued to avow that Nnamdi Kanu enjoys luxurious lifestyle in custody. He gets choice meals and enjoys comfortable lifestyle. This was evident when Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra, visited the Kanu in detention. It became clear that he was not being kept in an inferior room because the ambience of the room they stayed in, did not suggest any mistreatment or neglect.

On all his appearance during his court outings, many swore Kanu looks healthy, fresh and vibrant. Even when the Justice Binta Nyako in charge of his case gave the directive for him to change his clothes, Nnamdi Kanu remained adamant just so he can give the false impression of being ill-treated. All these tactics are aimed at garnering sympathy as well as deceive the international community to put pressure on government to release him. For each of this desperate effort, government has continually debunked them and insists Kanu’s health is perfect. Even those peddling the fake news and propaganda know the truth- Nnamdi Kanu looks healthier than them!

Nnamdi Kanu is not innocent and must be made to face the full wrath of the law. It is shocking that Global Terrorism Index in its latest report has RATED IPOB 10TH DEADLIEST TERROR GROUP IN THE WORLD. Their wicked strategies and desperation to wreak havoc using blackmail, fake news and propaganda has finally boomerang on them and only fetched them bad rating, not only in Nigeria but the whole world. The Executive Chairman of Coker/Aguda Local Council Development Area, Hon Rasaq Ibrahim Olamilekan today disproved in strongest terms the inauthentic, unverified, and erroneous claims which is being circulated about his personality and government across social media including WhatsApp by an unnamed individual or group. This untruth, he declared, 'is aimed at creating disharmony, generating tension, and fomenting trouble in Coker-Aguda LCDA, Surulere axis, and Lagos State as a whole'.

Emphasizing that he has maintained an amiable community relationship and good working relationship with the good people of Coker-Aguda LCDA irrespective of ethnicity, religion, gender, or creed, Hon. RIO as he is popularly known in the council wondered why some people will think he will mobilize thugs to disrupt the forthcoming gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections. Hon. RIO said: 'I am happily married to an Igbo woman Mrs. Oluchi Grace Ibrahim and we are blessed with lovely children. I will not do anything that will destroy the good relationship I have built with my in-laws (the Igbos) whether here in Lagos or elsewhere. I didn't do it before I became the Executive Chairman of Coker/Aguda LCDA. I will not do it now that I am the council boss. I will not do it anytime later.'

'The social amenities and infrastructure that we put in place did not discriminate against anybody. The council secretariat doesn't discriminate againsty anybody. I have no plan to mobilize thugs or intimidate voters. This is one false information which is aimed at destroying the peace and tranquility we enjoy in this council. It is nothing but hogwash'

It will be recalled that the Executive Chairman of Coker/Aguda LCDA had a meeting with the Igbo community last Monday 13th March 2023. During the meeting, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Chairman, Komolafe Ayodele noted that the young and vibrant council boss appealed to their conscience to cast their votes to re-elect Governor Babatunde Sanwoolu and Hon. Mosunmola Sangodara as Governor and Member Lagos House of Assembly respectively on the platform of APC. He didn't compel them neither did he threaten them, so no one should promote unfounded rumours against him.

Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Ibrahim Olamilekan reiterates his commitment to peace and harmony in the local council. 'I am using this opportunity to reassure residents of Coker/Aguda LCDA that the election on 18th of March, 2023 will be peaceful, free, and fair. It will be a progressive one that will interprets what true democracy is.'

"Except, of course, one wants to be economical with the truth or deliberately turn a blind eye to it, the many wonders of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, in the city of excellence, Lagos, are too numerous to mention, making him deserve a second term in office.

I daresay that every Lagosian can attest to the fact that the amiable governor had done remarkably well, touching all sectors of human endeavour as he religiously strives to fulfil all his campaign promises as promises as enshrined in his T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda. To burst the bubbles, I recently flipped through his manifesto, only to discover that the governor has had to deliver even more than he promised. This is no gainsay. The records are there, visible enough even to the blind.

Mr Governor has proven himself as not just a talker but a doer; a dynamic leader, savvy technocrat and an dexterous administrator par excellence.. Mr Governor is just a square peg in a square hole who will only do much better when given a second term. This is because his proficient acumen in the public sector has been made to rub off on every part of the state, within the last four years.

The exalted seat in Alausa best fits a workaholic like him. I will vote him over and over again, and I beseech everyone else to follow suit.

The long list of achievements of Governor ‘Sanwo Eko’ in offices includes the effective management of the COVID-19 pandemic which could have filtered the entire Lagosians but for the swift and pragmatic response of Mr Governor who contained it fast enough.

Within this same administration, the Agege Pen Cinema bridge, the Imota Rice Mill with a capacity to produce 2.8 million bags of 50kg bags of rice yearly, while generating 1,500 direct jobs and 254,000 indirect jobs; Lekki Free Trade zone. Here is a multi-billion dollar project that spans over 16,500 hectares of land; and Blue Rail line were all completed and commissioned for the benefit of all Lagosians.

Some other achievements of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu include the completion of the Lagos light rail project, a project initiated by the Lagos State Government under the administration of former governor Babatunde Fashola. The project is aimed at improving transportation in Lagos and effectively managing traffic congestion. If all needs are not laudable dividends of democracy, I will have to wonder what they are.

The governor also launched the Lagos State Health Insurance Scheme, an initiative designed for the provision of affordable and accessible healthcare services to Lagos residents. Mr Governor completed the Oshodi Transport Interchange, a modern edifice targeted at improving transportation in metropolitan Lagos. Worthy of note is the constant financial and moral support the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund continues to get, with the aim of supporting entrepreneurs and creating jobs for our teeming youth populace.

The Lagos State Resilience Strategy is an initiative of Mr Governor, with the aim of enhancing sustainability, while addressing issues of climate change and infrastructure. I must not forget to mention that, under this admins, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund continues to make progress with the unflinching support of the able governor.

One mustn’t forget to mention that Mr governor has rehabilitated over 60 public schools across the state;, and has delivered healthcare projects, including the construction of the Massey Street Children’s Hospital in Lagos Island.

A well-read administrator and graduate of the prestigious London Business School, Lagos Business School and the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Mr Sanwo-Olu, who had earned a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying & Geo-Informatics and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Lagos, poses as that thoroughbred public servant who can be entrusted with a second term in office, having performed excellently well with a mouthwatering scorecard in public service.

Among the projects he began and finished are: commissioning of 15 brand new schools, supplied 86,000 pieces of furniture, 1400 bed hostels for model colleges; construction of Vetland Junior Grammar school, Agege built entirely out of containers, including the ICT room, 12 classrooms, science laboratory, staff room and sporting facilities; commissioning of 4,000 units of flats for the members of staff of Lagos University (LASU), a students’ arcade and 8,272 units of bedspace hostels for students in the tertiary institution.

Not less than 18,000 teachers have been trained as at December 2022 under the EKO excel programme, giving them access to technology to enhance their teaching capacity. Mr Governor has delivered 62 brand new fire apparatuses, consisting of fire trucks and support vehicles to empower the Lagos State Fire Department.

The Governor embarked on the construction and rehabilitation of roads, including the Lekki-Epe road, to support the Lekki Sea Port, and the growing population on the Eastern flank and Ibeju Lekki. He also completed the rebuilding of the Lekki-Epe expressway with a rigid pavement solution. On the Blue Rail project targeted at easing transportation due to the fast growing population, Governor Sanwo-Olu have purchased trains with the capacity of 500,000 passengers, per day. He has also approved an increment by 100 per cent of the annual bursary allowance payable to indigenes of the state who are studying in any tertiary institutions nationwide, while upgrading some institutions to universities — the Adeniran Ogunsaya College of Education and Michael Otedola College of Primary Education have become Lagos State University of Education while the Lagos State Polytechnic is mow known as Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

This same dynamic administration, launched LagRide with 1,000 units of Sport Utility Vehicles [SUVs]; commissioned 4 Bus Terminals – Mafoluku, Yaba, Oyingbo and Ajah; completion of 78 bus shelters/bus depots while 22 are ongoing; reconfiguration of 6 Junctions/Roundabouts – Allen, Ikotun, Lekki I & II, and Ajah; employed 1,300 LASTMA ofsficers to manage traffic; deployed traffic lights and CCTV cameras in strategic places in the State; delivered 14 new BRT stations; launching of 500 units of First and Last Mile (FLM) buses as alternative means of transportation in addressing the security challenges posed by commercial motorcycles.

Mr Governor injected 560 high-medium capacity buses for standard routes. Under this same administration, the Lagos Bus Service Limited (LBSL) celebrated the 10 million passenger ridership as an unprecedented achievement. LAGFERRY now operates on 21 boats; 8 new boats were inaugurated by Mr. Governor on 6th February, 2020, while 7 new ones were added to the fleet on June 22nd, 2021. LAGFERRY has a total of 12 boats and 1 barge. It ferried over 500,000 passengers, between February 2020 and March 2022.

Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu should be returned elected for the second time, having completed and commissioned 120 units Courtland Villas, Igbokushu, Lekki; handed over apartments’ keys to 492 beneficiaries of the Lateef Kayode Jakande Housing Estate, Igando; completed 360 housing units at Igbogbo in Ikorodu; completed 660 housing units at Odo-Onosa-Ayandelu Housing Scheme in Agbowa LCDA.

Suffice to say that His Excellency, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, is a rare gift to our dear Lagos, with such sterling records brought to bare. I enjoin all Lagosians to come out en masse this Saturday, March 11, 2023 to re-elect our all-performing governor.

Intercession 3: Father, by the power of your word, let there be waves of sudden turnaround testimonies in all our services all through this month, thereby bringing many others to Christ and this church – Zech. 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days [it shall come to pass], that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard [that] God [is] with you.(KJV)

Intercession 4: Father, in the name of Jesus, turn every cell member into a sign and a wonder, thereby attracting more souls into the cells and this church all through this year – Is. 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me [are] for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.(KJV)

Intercession 2: Father, in the name of Jesus, execute vengeance upon every resistance of hell against the ongoing revival, resulting in the multiplication of disciples of Christ in this church – Is. 49:25-26 But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
