If any player gets 10shots and only scores one it shows how wasteful he was. If Griezmann had 10shots and only scored one you will be among those blasting him for being wasteful.

iii) the ball has to go always through him, any fluidity and movement from the front 4 is destroyed. Check the difference of the team play with and without Messi.

And guess what. Even with any other formation the above structural problems will never be cured.
