These passages show that there is a difference between someone who is hired, someone who is a bonded servant, and someone who is bought, paid for, and owned. These are laws for priests. If the Bible had a problem with people owning other people, why couldn't it at least ban the priesthood from owning slaves?

Hope you won't keep lying. As far as we know, the "slavery" of ancient Israel was primarily debt slavery and corvee labor. The Bible didn't endorsed it but set out guidelines on how they were to be followed.

Many scientific research came from religious backgrounds. I’m sure you’ve heard that Gregor Mendel, the father of genetics, was a Catholic monk. He remained a catholic monk even after postulating genetics. He certainly didn’t see any conflict between religion and science. Pasteur is another second example. Infact history is filled with religious people who invented and postulated numerous scientific ideals. Christianity does not stop his members from acquiring knowledge.

1. I don't think religion is only the problem in this country, it's just among the major problem we face as a country.

In the east, it's pretty common to see a Yoruba christian marrying an igbo christian especially people attending the Pentecostal church. You will however almost never see a Yoruba Muslim marrying an igbo christian one must convert for others for peace to reign. I personal believe religion is part of the problem in this country.


2. You can't put all the blame on the religion for being in existence, if we have a good leader and working economy people will have few reason to go to church or mosque , that's why any good thing you benefit as a citizen is considered a miracle.

Recently the Catholics asked the FG to use some of their churches as isolation centre. Had it been we have enough isolation centre would the government be at the mercy of the Catholics . I'm sure they will gain more followers for this deed
