Gasperini is not a good man manager. He had no reason to sing out Ademola like that in public. Do it behind closed doors if you must.

What is even Ademola's sin in the first place? It's a team already down 3-0 in the first half, no word for the shambolic defenders but for the guy who came in the second half haba. The player had no reason to be maligned by anyone both in the open and in the closet.

Please, I need your insight on this issue.

A friend in the UK applied for a work visa under the Health and Care category but never received an approval or denial email. However, his wife, who applied as a dependent, received a denial email.

Despite multiple phone calls and emails to the Home Office to understand why the main applicant never received any response, there has still been no feedback. Meanwhile, the applicant’s legal status has now expired, and they don’t know what to do.

We can confirm that the Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) is not the issue.

The COS as also since expired as it’s been over 4 months

Has he checked his spam box? Or test to generate a share code to see if he has a valid evisa? Was he perhaps sent an email to request for more details or documents he didn’t respond to? So many questions? The denial for the wife may be related to her not qualified for a dependent visa under the current rules. My thoughts

I'm in a bit of dilemma, I have been working with one of the NHS Trust as an Accountant for a year now under my graduate visa.

Recently, I requested for a tier 2 visa from my department Director with the deadline that if I don't get it, I will be leaving the Trust. Though I still have one year left in my graduate visa but just need to switch quickly. But due to the salary threshold of 38,700 and 30,960 for new entrant which I'm eligible for, I requested I be moved from band 5 to band 6 so I can match the pay.

Due to funding issue within the NHS, my Boss couldn't take me up the band, and In other for me not to leave, my Boss made contacts with both HR and the Trust immigration team responsible for visa and to my surprise, they said my salary of 29kas a Finance Officer can go for a tier 2 visa being that I work in Healthcare.

Truth is, I'm very sceptical about that but the Trust keep assuring me that it will fly with home office. Today, I have received my COS but I'm scared of spending money to apply and losing the money if my application gets rejected.

Has anyone working in NHS in an occupation other than clinical recently gotten a visa as a band 5? What do you guys think about this?

You better go and apply and stop wasting time. For as long as your job title matches your job description, then you’re good to go. I think you will still pay for ihs which you can reclaim after six months since you work for the nhs. You should be celebrating 🙌, congratulations!

@Lexus, you didn't give us the tea on the protest going on outside the Home Office lol, calling on the Home Office to investigate CoS scammers who have allegedly scammed people of up to tens of thousands of pounds.

They even have a banner with the faces of some of the "scammers"

This is terrible, I like the fact they are being named and shamed (hoping no one is falsely accused) but these folks have ruined lots of families. I understand the risk involved for those who are already on the visa attached to their agencies but for how long will these folks get away with this nonsense. I must say im with Bannedlargejr on this one, The statement by Gasperini was not nice especially for a public forum but Lookman should not allow those around him to gourd him into reckless actions or statements because potential employers are watching his response and employers are always sympathetic to other employers

Upon reassessing the situation, reading Lookman's account and watching Gasperini's remarks, I would like to recant my previous statement on this whole situation.

I apologize to members of thread for hastily jumping to conclusions before fully assessing the facts. I hope that Lookman is able to navigate this situation and can play in a supportive atmosphere in the future at another club.

The coach messed up. It is all on Gasperini. The designated penalty taker felt Lookman was in the right frame of mind and momentum to take the kick. Gasperini did not know that detail before running his mouth. Gasperini fell his hand big time and showed his internal hatred for Ademola Lookman.

Thank you. He went against the boss' order and missed the penalty. The criticism is harsh but such is the price paid when you don't follow your coach's instructions. He shouldn't have stolen that penalty.
