HustlaOfLagos: Well.. no matter the info and opp, unless you're a politician or crooked billionaire, there is no way around the systemic failure
😂 easy bro folks are still thriving back home! It’s always been my belief that while some thrive back home others have to move out to thrive and it’s the same for everywhere on the planet. Na the same systematic failure wan give the UK steel industry some leverage from Nigerian ports! And you know me on this thread am a big advocate of mobility so far it works for you and improve your wellbeing! |

HustlaOfLagos: It's of course not small but then, will it change your life / give you the same quality of life you have here in Nigeria?
Will you still have the £35K or more after 2 years? Are you guaranteed that you will get help you need in case of a medical emergency? How sure are you that if you start a business, one government policy wont wipe it away? Lots of questions and factors to consider for someone who thinks
It goes beyond money, at least for me & majority of people migrating just want a better, well planned life where they do not have to struggle to get the basics
It’s all assumptions and reality can always present a different outcome. In the final analysis it depends on the information and opportunities that’s available to each individual |

Goodenoch: Nobody has said it's small money though.
The question is what can someone* do with it that would be life-changing in the way LavidaLoca is saying, such that it would warrant for them to "book the next flight and bid the uk bye bye." ?
*Someone here being a person who's currently here in the UK. I think Lavida has explained himself already that to many that’s a life changer I saw someone the other day on social media listing several businesses one can do in Nigeria by buying some low budget manufacturing gadgets from China for businesses like block moulding, pure water factory, nylon making and all sorts and this 35k or so covers far more than enough to even buy multiple of those gadgets and equipment So Lavida is right for some that will be a life changer! |

TheSuperNerd: You are right. Morocco may succeeed in our own case but it also does blows open the players eligibility process of FIFA, kinda exposing their own incompetence or inconsistencies in players clearance process for new nations. Would FIFA have allowed that? Both CAF and FIFA verdicts were just purely politics and I like it cos when another country or countries will become victims tomorrow it will be interesting to see where all the anti corruption advocates and moralists will stand! We will all be here 😂 |

Kog45: Peseiro and Finidi messed our World Cup qualification We had momentum with Paseiro after the 2023 AFCON. There's no way Paseiro would have performed badly in that WCQ series post-Afcon 2023. We keep blaming Paseiro instead of the NFF, who couldn't manage our AFCON 2023 final place finish, the same thing they are doing now with Chelle blackmailing him despite improving our playing pattern. Tomorrow we will blame Chelle again for our woes! |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Goke7: 10:25am On Mar 23 |
Amedino99: its unforgivable. We hype their performances and success for their clubs but we are denied same in the national team. We lost a world cup spot to south africa and DR Congo for God sake. We lost out on penalties; it could have gone either way. We are just lamenting cos we believe the Eagles must always beat every team silly. We have even forgotten that, but for the Eritrea withdrawal, we wouldn't have gotten any chance to be at the play-offs; it's high time we let this matter rest. The Congo match was not the problem; it was our shambolic performance during the WCQ series itself, which started from the moment we parted ways with Paseiro after the 2023 AFCON, and using coaches like Finidi and Eguavoen, and we are on the verge of repeating the same cycle soon when we finally part ways with Chelle. We should be more concerned about the way forward now. |

jedisco: With all the pomp and pageantry followed Tinubu's visit to the UK, I am still seeking out what was actually achieved for the Nigerian side. However, what I find quite telling is the absence of 'warnings' from mainstream, social media and even here too on how the UK might look to shortchange Nigeria.
We just signed a deal to purchase over £70m of inputs from British Steel. Imagine if it was a Chinese steel company we signed that deal with. It'd have been tales of how their steel is not strong enough or how they are trying to take advantage of us. Foreign media outlets would have made it look lime we don’t know what we're doing.. 'But at what cost'? is the usual cliché.
Wouldn't surprise me that in the coming weeks (just like with Kemi's 'deal'), we'd be told to offer gratitude to the King for being given the opportunity to buy great British steel 😂 you don come again abeg let us enjoy our Tinubu visit in peace. At lease uk go benefit from our shithole is God not wonderful? Shebi when Aunty kemi bash us again we will remind her how British companies and the economy are enjoying plethora of contracts from our country, please leave us o make we too help this uk economy Abi we do bad? |

ChrisKels: Who was Iheanacho's room mate in 2017? 🤔 For me we shouldn’t read much into this, no one is God and nobody knows tomorrow! Whoever the person is should never be condemned. We Nigerians must stop this high moral ground attitude as most of us are even worse. These players are young men that are still growing and the major problem they have mostly is being too exposed to the big life in their early life. I don’t expect someone in his twenties to behave like someone in his forties. |

seppuku: A worker works hard to receive his "wages". An entrepreneur creates his own and strives to make money in a capitalist world. This is reality.
As for South Africans, This is not a matter of behaving yourself. It's a matter of Xenophobia against other Africans.
Europeans buy up all kinds of properties under their noses, and they dare not raise their voices at that. Exactly all their hurts and anger against their true oppressors they pass that aggression on their fellow Africans haba, is SA the only African country where Nigerians thrive? |

This SA sports minister is just a clown, always trying to make a living by attacking Nigerians
You see why Nigerians must stop castigating their own country before the entire world? We are the ones giving folks like this minister who can’t lace the shoes of many of local govt councillors mouth to rain insults on us. Honestly I don’t blame him much |

lbrichman2: This is why in life, always follow your own personal convictions.. Never ever live to please people, because you will always be criticized.. That people still doubt Osimhen's commitment after all he has done for the SE is very sad..
My advice to the lad is this, live your life and no send anybody Papa If you decide to stop playing for the SE today, I am 100% with you Nigerians do not deserve you..
Jay Jay Okocha and even Mikel were clearly picking games to play in, today everybody respects them No one remembers that Jay Jay used to skip games...
But when it comes to Osimhen, mouth go begin open like canal You gerit 💯 if you observe Oshimen no longer respond or react to all these silly talk like before guy don move on to live his life to the fullest. If e reach you turn allow people to gaslight you. Another player I don Dey admire in recent times na Iwobi just living his life despite all that has been thrown at him over the years. His uncle truly mentored him well and you’re right Jay Jay in his days just did his thing and today he’s still living his life to the fullest and that’s my wish for osihmen. |
