GEJ aides and former ministers make me laugh, they are so used to power that even after office, they still have the guts to be issuing press statements as if they are still in aso rock, now wonder chief Akande then referred to GEJ' govt as a kindergarten government.
Truly they are all kids including their kindergarten president who cannot even guarantee drinking water in his backyard. of what use and relevance is telling us GEJ's 100 days achievement in office now, they can also tell us Lord lugard 100 days achievement in office too.
Bunch of silly kids, they accuse APC of propaganda when they are actually the master of propaganda cos it sounds comical telling the 100 days achievement of a Govt. who did not even have respect of her little neighbors like Benin and Cameroon. |

All those saying that we will regret voting Buhari are just playing to the Gallery and very high on kunu. Let me give an example here:
There is this mobil filling station I normally buy fuel from at the so called N87 per litre, sometimes I just take a 10 litre jerry can to just buy for my generator, normally when I buy N1000, it doesn't fill up the can, but I was shocked when on Saturday I bought at the same filling station, the same jerry was already filled up to the brim before the metre got up to N900, this means the station has been defrauding customers all the while but because of the recent clampdown of DPR on stations who defraud customers, the filling stations are already sitting up. many filling stations don't even have fuel but there are no queue anywhere and the demand for fuel keeps reducing because of improvement in power supply, even diesel is now being sold for N110. I work in Apapa and the traffic has improved as the all the excesses of the conatainers and tankers drivers have been checked to a reasonable limit.
Okorounmu or whatever your name is, you and your family can go to hell. we now Know who the real enemies of Nigeria are which includes you and your God forsaken generation. |
Politics › Re: Probe: Jonathan Holds Meeting With Ex-ministers by Goke7: 8:10am On Aug 31, 2015 |
ORACLE1975: I must say I like the bold move of the Jonathan Ministers because from my humble but candid observation, I think the APC has no agenda and they represents a crop of old and failed politicians who are bereft of leadership ideas and experiences. Each time I read news from Nigeria, I am appalled by the arrogant insinuations of the APC and its bad mouthing the Jonathan administration, even though it is no longer in power. This APC strategy is one clear characteristic of poor and inexperienced leadership. While I am not a politician and would never want to be, I would very much love to contribute my quota to develop Nigeria when I come home. I want APC to learn from great leaders like the pragmatic and resilient Barack Obama. When Obama came to power in 2008, the US economy was so bad that it was in deep recession. The magnitude of such economic disaster impacted the whole global economy that it plunged into a level as bad as the great depression. Obama did not rule by making Bush a reference point at every instances or wasting his time conducting any probe of the Bush administration. Instead, he tackled the problems he met head long. It is to Obama's credit that the world was steered out of recession and the global economy became flamboyant once again. Unemployment rate in the US is now 5.2% down from 9.1% when Obama took power. Even at this present time when global oil prices have fallen, and big economies like Russia and China are seeing their surpluses turn to deficit, the US can boast of having one of the strong economy in the world. The lesson is simple: good leaders do not look for scapegoats for their own failures. They do not continue pointing accusing fingers each time reality stare them on the face. They instead put plugs to contain the problems and stop them from getting worse. The present Nigerian leadership seems not to know the problem facing the nation. They dont seem to have ideas. The only ideas they seem to have is how to demonize PDP and cast aspersions on the people who served the country in the last administration. Noise making, we all know, cannot solve problems. Noises about stolen funds and waiting until the funds are recovered before one can start ruling is cheap blackmail. When Buhari came to power years back, among the problems he said he is fighting was nepotism. But nepotism of sort is what Nigeria is seeing from his current appointments. The President should roll out his agenda and his plans to make Nigeria great even with the limited resources he met on ground. His ability to start working and not talking about money that has already been spent, will engrave his name in the annals of history. We Nigerians both home and in diaspora are ready to work with him. Throwing muds and casting aspersions all the time is getting too boring and stale, and is a sign of rascality, ineptitude, and an area boy approach to politicking. It is only in Nigeria and Africa that such leadership trait is lauded as an achievement. Dear President Buhari, history beckons on you. Do not let people who have malice and hatred in their heart or axes to grind drag you into their tirade. If you should be angry over anything, your anger should be directed at audit Departments in all the Ministries and parastatals where lootings took place. They earn fat salaries for doing no job, and they drive shinny cars and live in luxurious homes, and now want you to abandon your enormous job of governance and do their jobs of checking ledgers. BUHARI PLEASE SETTLE DOWN. Please why did you not put this beautiful analysis of yours in an open letter to the Jonathan Government, it would have saved us all the troubles we have presently. This were the things we too were saying to Jonathan then, but were labelled as those who never meant well for Nigeria. The Jonathan Government too were badmouthing the previous administrations of causing all Nigeria's problems and gave it as an excuse for non performance or have you forgotten? |

The more reason Jonathan will continue to be a laughing stock, imagine Jonathan telling Buhari not to involve the DSS in the election tribunal, has Jonathan forgotten the role the DSS played in the last Governorship elections in Osun state? Jonathan used the DSS who wore masks on their faces to hound the opposition and now he is reminding us about the rule of law.
I laugh in Spanish to see a previous administration who was well known for impunity now reminding the present administration of due process and rule of law, something they themselves never believed in. na wa o! |

The only time a Nigerian will not cry about marginalization is when someone who is from their tribe becomes President. Let's not be fooled, when Obasanjo was in power, the north cried about marginalization, when Yar adua emerged, it was the turn of the south to cry marginalization, then Jona came with his wahala and no ss or se cried about marginalization, only the sw and the north were crying, now its the north that is in power and all southerners are crying again.
All this talk of marginalization is becoming boring to me jare, its a viscous cycle, when my town's man no dey there, I must cry marginalization.
What is it with all this appointment sef? someone said it gives a sense of belonging and I said WHAT, with no roads, electricity, good hospitals and unemployment.

The Chinese Central Bank is exhausting all the tricks in box but the market still lost $3.2 Trillion in the last quarter or so.
Given that growth in China has been responsible for moderating the last global recession as well as keeping commodities (including oil) at historically high levels, our economy is in for a tough ride. ttmacoy: Ok i get your point now.
i agree that people blaming PMB for Nigeria's issues is just being petty and silly.
Nigeria's problems did not even start with GEJ to be honest, it is a compilation of decades of poor leadership and fundamental structural issues, but I also agree that GEJ could have done more to try to fix some of these issues and I blame him squarely for failing to take advantage of the oil boom to diversify and invest in the economy.
Also the uncertainty around PMBs agenda and direction is also playing a role in declining foreign investment as investors do not know what the economic policies are.
Either way PMB is the president for the next 4 years so we need to work together to take Nigeria forward and stop all this petty silly arguing and fighting over GEJ and PMB calling them dullards and worse. Not good. Thanks we are definetly on the same page |

The same people were up in arms when the Falomo complex sandal broke out but as soon as Elumelu's name was mentioned, they changed their tongue asking Ambode to protect the business of their son instead of persecuting him but we all saw how they nailed Fashola to the cross over the contracts he awarded.

T[b]he reason for the poor growth is Nigeria has over depended on oil for governed revenue and the falling oil prices is having a knock on effect on the economy. They provide jobs, taxes etc to the economy and in return they make a profit for their investment.
