Recently, they employ them as Medical Representatives and the starting salary is less than ₦150,000 and a good part of the pay will come from meeting sale's target. Biochemistry, Microbiology and Human physiology graduates can be recruited to do the job.

Just like you rightly stated, the money-making opportunity for a pharmacist is in the business area. However, they are in stiff competition with chemists.

I asked this question because the job industry is dynamic and a graduate of Soil science can secure a job in audit firms, get MBA and ICAN and become a tax manager with a mouth-watering salary that even a pharmacist in the hospital or industry will never dream of.

I am a Biochemist and I work in a beverage company here in Nigeria and my annual salary and allowances is close to 10 million and I have just 1-year experience.

That is why big multinationals do not ask you field-based questions during job aptitude test. Your Quantitative, Verbal, Numerical and Abstract reasoning skills are tested because that is a true test of intelligence.

Even a chief pharmacist in the hospital doesn't come close to a management trainee in a good organization (who may have studied Agronomy with 2.1) in terms of salary.

It all boils down to being exceptional at whatever you do and making good use of every opportunity.

No course is more lucrative than the other.

Stop contradicting yourself. You said we've moved past that stage of contact tracking hence containment the best option now. So let them stay indoors and do a first line test with the app before going to the various centres they have for test if need be. Yes, they have testing centres and isolation centres. And yes, same way an asymptomatic person is most unlikely to go get tested is how the app is useless to him/her.

There's a point an employee gets that he would not be able to command certain amount as salary, no matter his age and experience.

This applies to jobs that require little expertise. That's why no matter how much some people change jobs, they may never earn 200k upwards.

For example, A regular office assistant may never earn as much as 200k because it requires less expertise, and cheaper alternatives are surplus.

My point is that, you should find something that'll make you an expert in your field. Get Certifications and master the latest tools that are required in your Field.

If these two are in place, youll get a very good job within three months.

after reading alot of comments here, I draft my conclusion, Majority of Nigerian graduate are suffering from what I called primitive sense of reasoning, we expected what works for our four fathers so many years ago to work for us also. I used to tell anyone who care to listen, d only thing dat will always remain constant in life change, when things changes,we ve to flow with the change also, Iz no more news dat our government has failed,dat there is little job out there, dat there are millions of graduates out there, and d little jobs comes with alot of conditions, like who re u? what do u have to offer dats special ,and so on,...u come from a low/average family and u don't have anything special to offer, yet u believe since u ve ur certificate, u re guy 2 go, LOL my brother think.twice or else u will b left blaming others for ur predicament day in day out
