.. yeah that's what you told me.. but when I first opened my coursera account, some list of free courses popped up on the page, so I was checking dem out and I saw dis one relating to ux design.. and I didn't first understand how coursera work self.. let me just finished dis one first, it's just 5weeks.. I think I will start ui design with some YouTube tutorials first

.. I know, but those courses need payment before accessing it.... This particular course only needs payment when you are done with.. you pay 30 dollar for the certificate

UI is the user's interface. UX is the user's experience. UI is anything the user may interact with ranging from the lights, app design, touchscreen, typography, colour theory, animation, accessibility etc.

UX on the other hand refers to everything that affects a user’s interaction with a digital product.

To understand UX and flow well, you need basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript etc. They will help you have a soft landing. That's why those costings seem like a heck of a problem to you. You will go with the flow as time goes and can learn those basic coding languages. UI and UX goes hand in hand. You can't have one without the other.

By the way, on what platform are you getting your UX design lessons?

.... Ux come dey be like advance costing o... It was easy at beginning o, but na ehnnn, the grammar don dey many... I would have started learning ui first before ux, I thought if I'm good at ux it will aid me in creating a better ui... God is my strength

If you love creativity and colours, you should learn Graphics Design for starters. I don't know how long learning it would take for you. But, I would implore you to learn UI/UX too if you consider it a passion.

However, you'd need a bit, if not more of coding knowledge for learning UX. If you don't have a problem with that, you can pick it up. All the best.

hey Good morning... Happy new year ma..... I have learnt graphics designing to some extent now and I think I'm ready for ui/ux design, I even have a dell laptop.. but all the course I'm seeing are paid courses, apart from youtube what order free materials I could use

Guys is this normal.... I realized I'm more faster and better when designing with my phone than a pc.. well I just started learning corel draw,my uncle saw my designs on phone and said I should learn graphics full time, so he linked me up with his friend that owns a printing press,I started two weeks ago.. though I have gotten some knowledge on corel draw but I waste alot of time trying to design with it but with my phone 20min is too much.. please what should I do

I would only be giving you suggestions from my personal experiences.

I use a DELL laptop presently and the battery life is superb. HP is good too.

Let me just drop mine here, been thinking of learning ui/ux design, but before that I want to learn graphic designing... I just want to have any digital skills that deals with creativity and colors, design... Making an ugly idea to be beautiful.. I love challenges like dat.
