Where is the command to tithe our money written in His Word? I see commands to tithe agricultural products, but not moeny. We only preach what is written in His Word. To add a monetary tithe requirement is to go beyond what He has given us in His Word.

Lolz. Their not believing is proof of what happens when people live life in the physical and do not understand divine principles. Some blessings will seem like a lie to them.

God's principles are eternal, belief, praying, studying more about God and walking with him, which gives us the right heart and mind in the first place, giving, fasting, diligence at work and business, honesty, intergrity, staying away from sin and so much more.
All these work together to help.in abundant life and we should expect persecutions, and trials but they all work together for our good.

I remember where you shared how you helped that poor, naked man that was said to be mad on a thread a long time ago and people still did not believe it, infact they supposed 'advicates' of the poor started castigating you. It was proof to show it is all a show of words they claim to profess to help. By God's grace, I have picked a beggar and refugee from the street, preached to him and paid his airfare back to his family and also assist with his school fees and needs. Now these are such testimonies we should be hearing more, Isn't it?

I learnt about giving all my salary in a month once and I laughed the first time I heard it. But after laughing I talked to myself and later prayed for grace to do it. That is why I say grace is an enabler. Do you know God provided in such an amazing way?

In the church I attend now for some years now, they do not talk about giving all salary but I did not forget my experience and since then for over 5 years, a salary a year is used for people (needy and ministers) and nothing of it comes to me.

Abraham gave his all (His Isaac), and God had to swear by Himself, a blessing we all enjoy now but many cannot even give their 100% to very same poor they keep advocating for yet their hypocrisy is glaring.
If we claim God owns our all, at least let us show some of it in unrighteous mammon.

When you give to poor or the church, who do you? Whwn you drop an offering, tithe, give alms, is it the beggar you see of God. That will determine how and why you give.

I do not like talking about myself much but decided to when I saw some claims.

The church and those in it give and that is why they are always in the news for their exploits and some bitter people get angry.

If you do not believe in worshipping in the church you attend, why are you even there?

If we start with testimonies, many people will be dazed. Is it about getting a brand new car even when we have the money to purchase one, is it about a trip abroad FOC and your money returned to you? Flying business class or even on economy you are treated special, Is it about getting property in a choice location without having to take a bank loan and the owner of the property just loves your family. Or having property abroad as invetment? Is it about being the one people run to for assistance and instead of getting annoyed you ask God enlarge me so I can give more? Is it giving food to help families in need, restoring people back to their families and even paying the airfare, giving out cars to people.

For us it is about what we give out and not even what we get and not just the end or the result but how it came.
God showed the people His acts but Moses His ways.
The major testimony is how these things come about, this is just a tip of testimonies.
And to think we (me and my hubby) are salary earners from our secular work.

For me it is about giving resources,. tithe, offerings, whole salaries for people and the gospel. When God knows we will spend His resources well, He gives more. It is a thing of being faithful and that is why i feel so sorry for those who do not have undertsnding of this and keep straining at the gnat.

I'll love to hear those partnership testimonies pls. I partner with groups devoted to folks on the fringes of society. Specifically widows and orphans and you should see the joys on their faces due to relief. That is testimony enough for me.

Abraham the father of faith showed us the perfect example, we ought to emulate.The christian journey is never a journey of the LAW but a journey of FAITH. This is elementary teaching really. I am surprised a teacher like you should not know the definition of FAITH.

2 Cor 8:3 "For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability they gave of their own accord."

Here Paul was even encouraging the corinthian folks by citing an example of the Macedonians who gave generously out of their extreme poverty. Paul was never aiming for less,he was aiming for higher than 10%.

According to your supporters here, Paul must also be fraudulent by collecting the resources of the poor Macedonian churches and also using them as a perfect example to the Corinthians on GRACE GIVING BY FAITH.

2 Cor 8:10 "And I give my opinion in this matter, for this is to your advantage, who were the first to begin a year ago not only to do this (giving), but also to desire to do it."

This scripture is so clear that Paul noticed they backslidded in their givings,they became carnal thinking they were doing Paul a favour by enriching him, just as some of you here are of the erroneous impressions that giving tithes to your local Assembly is a means of enriching the pastors. Here PAUL SAID IT IS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE NOT TO MINE.

No one is being cajoled to give, like i told Mark earlier, i cannot give what i don't have. If i see my givings(tithes and offerings) as an act of worship to God, why should i hoard it by being greedy and covetous as frosbel quoted in that scripture.

Paul was saying look folks, you are not giving to me but to GOD( God is the one collecting it because of the cheerfulness of the givers heart just like He accepted Abel sacrifice ) and that is the christian FAITH oga goshen, so if i purposed in my heart to give God 20% of my monthly income, who are you to judge my givings as being based under the LAW

You scream tithe and your head pastor helps amplify it with the favourite Mal 3:8-11 but do you even obey the 'tithe principle' as you call it? There are at least 4 variants of tithes in the bible, how faithful are you to them or its just the one that favours you and your ogas that concern you?

I can understand the members who pay to you and your partners and believe it works but you know the deceit you invest in this but your conscience is so dead it doesn't bother you.

See one of the tithes that God instituted. Have you ever mentioned it to your folks in church?

People who keep deceiving themselves and others saying they tithe BY FAITH. You don't understand the finished works in the way of Faith that negates the way of law. Where was it said that tithing is BY FAITH, give us just one scripture. You must understand your confession of tithe by faith has nothing to do faith but law as long as you doing Matthew 23:23 or Malachi. Faith has nothing to do with law (monthly tithe\weekly tithe) just as law has nothing to do with faith. Two opposite poles!!!

1. Fear of a curse which is wrongly preached to them every sunday
2. Fear of Hell
3. They buy into the false hope that God is a money doubler
4. Fear of loss of income, job, house etc.


In summary , just like a con man will trick a widow or old woman out of her savings, these so called MOG use the same tactics and con people out of their hard earned money.

Pastor Kun: I am still yet to see were God commanded monetary tithes from income to christians in scripture. That aside no one has stated that uncle Joe doesn't have a Job as we all know that he is a pulpit love-vendor which is a very lucrative business.

PS: if you like call me street beggar or destitute, I really don't care as I don't have any personal point to prove to you or anyone on this forum. For all you know I might be a motor park tout who dropped out of primary school but guess what, our social or financial status does not matter to Christ.
