Romance › Re: About Girlfriends And Money by Goodlady(f): 8:40am On Jan 19, 2023

"Many young men are not progressing because of wasting their money on girlfriends. A girlfriend is not your responsibility, if she needs a regular income tell her to get a job. Spend the early years of your career investing to prepare a good start for your family. I dated my current wife for 3 years and only gave her a k500 and a few dinner's and movies despite earning 18pin as a salary. When we started dating I showed her a 3 years financial plan on a spreadsheet and made her commit to support the plan, openly telling her in this relationship they'll be no unnecessary expenses and each one will bear their own cost of upkeep until declared husband and wife unless its an emergency.

I spent the early years of my career investing and building myself to create a good start for my family. I started working at 19 years with just a diploma (ACCA level 1) and I sponsored myself to get a degree and a masters by 23 years. By the time I got married at 24 years, I had a farm and a house to take my wife. All this was done through strict financial discipline, in Zambia they call it "KASO" and am okay with it. I lost girlfriends and differed with family because of "KASO" and am still okay with it coz at least it has given me success and a good life.

To you who has just started working or started a business; "KASO" is the key to success in Zambia. We live in a society with a high sense of entitlement where girl friends think they deserve a regular income for simply saying I love you too. Let her not even use Sex to squeeze money out of you coz sex is of mutual benefit to both participants unless she has gone commercial and she should state it Soo unlike disguising her commercial activities using love.

My brother upgrade your qualifications or build that house when you single to prepare a good life for your wife and children unlike spending it on that slay queen. Headship is easier when you have money; if you can, as a man please don't enter marriage with nothing coz you'll be humiliated and regularly told I found you with nothing."

Good morning
Deep talk.
However, don't blame any lady for asking for money. I won't talk much in order not to be misunderstood.
Romance › Re: Do I Consider Her As Online Beggar, It's Very Disappointing, Pals Pls Advise by Goodlady(f): 8:38am On Jan 19, 2023
Zeal0000007:
This year I will be going for a 6months career license course and as soon as I get my license things will change.

Pals pls advice me on what to do, make I bon her, our conversation on WhatsApp is not really flowing well. Why is she so materialistic and it's obvious d iPhone 14 pro max she's using must have been given to her by one rich dude she's dating or was dating I guess , I just love her. Pls advice insults too is also welcome.
Let me give you an advise like your blood sister. Give her gifts you can afford. Go for your career course in time. Make some money before you consider relationship. Why?
Cos relationship and money are twins. They came together. She may be a girl that's expensive than you. You can't expect her to lower her standards for you. So...face your career, give what you can give and if she's not giving green light, focus on someone else you can afford.

Politics › Re: Fuel Scarcity Bites Harder, Marketers Blame NNPCL by Goodlady(f): 7:09am On Jan 19, 2023
adenigga:
•IPMAN to sell petrol at N270/litre as supply gap widens, lingers

[i]•NNPC
[b]Akinrinade added that marketers as of last Friday bought products from the depots at between N235-N240 per litre, saying there was no way they would sell products below N270/litre even within the Lagos metropolis.

On what could be the lasting solution to fuel scarcity, he advised the Federal Government to revive the refineries to enable local production.

“The lasting solution is for the refineries to start functioning and we begin local refining,” he said.

Also speaking, the National Operations Controller of IPMAN, Mike Osatuyi, told The PUNCH that the removal of fuel subsidy and deregulation was the key to resolving the fuel scarcity menace.

“The permanent solution is to deregulate and remove subsidies. Allow the market to be a free market, where marketers other than the NNPC will be able to bring in products. Since the government said the subsidy would be removed in June, let’s wait and see, but until then, we have to manage,” he told The PUNCH over the phone.
The Chairman of the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, Olumide Adeosun, also said the deregulation of the downstream sector would eradicate fuel scarcity.

“
Findings showed that while MOMAN members get fuel directly from NNPCL at a government-deregulated price of N148/litre, IPMAN members patronise private depots where prices are determined by market indices.

The Executive Secretary for the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria, Olufemi Adewole, had told The PUNCH that just like the NNPCL, its members were on a “recover all” regime, adding that its members faced high costs of renting vessels, illegal fees, lack of forex at Central Bank of Nigeria’s official rate among others, as reasons behind increasing prices of products.

The spokesperson for NNPCL, Garba Deen, could not be reached on his official line for his comment on the lingering fuel crises.

NNPC defends subsidy

Meanwhile, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, Mele Kyari, on Wednesday said the oil firm was comfortable with the policy of the Federal Government on the subsidy of Premium Motor Spirit, popularly called petrol, despite the trillions of naira being spent subsidising the commodity.

He also announced that Nigeria’s crude oil and condensates production climbed to as high as 1.52 million barrels per day towards the end of December 2022.

Since February last year, I v not enjoyed good power supply and there's fuel scarcity. These two reasons are enough for me to punish APC with my vote.
