Politics / Another Dubai In Aba by GoodSamaritan: 2:21pm On Mar 24

*Abia State Bank of Industry*
=========================

I strongly suggest that Abia State Government should have Abia State Bank of Industry to provide Seed Fund to small scale businesses with excellent business plans that fit into the State's master plan.

===============
*New Aba City*
===============

I also suggest that Abia State Government should have a new city on a virgin land and call it New Aba.

The New Aba City should consist of at least 1,000 skyscrapers made up of 200 storeys each.

====================
*Aba Free Trade Zone*
====================

In addition to the above, I like to suggest that Abia State Government should have a functional Free Trade Zone in Aba, after the order of Dubai.

My point is based on common sense. Something you seem to lack. She flaunts her cars and assets on social media. She does not lack.

Why don't you make an attempt to explain why a very comfortable actress with a mixed reputation gets a car gift while millions of poor people are given nothing? Whats the rationale? And why has this car gift not been explained by the Church?

Or will you dodge that question again, like you've been doing since?
1). People like Apostle Johnson Suleman do NOT buy cars with their own money. People buy cars in Apostle's name and present to him as a gift.
2). How many of such cars will Apostle use. The Apostle I know careless about cars. So, he gives them out to people just the way they came. Most of the beneficiaries might not bother to change the name on the papers.
3). Apostle Johnson Suleman is not the only pastor in Nigeria that gives to actors and actresses. Why is his own a problem to people after his speech against herdsmen?

4). GO TO HIS CHURCH AND YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS, WIDOWS AND POOR PEOPLE ON HIS PAYROLL. HE HAS BUILT HOUSES FOR SO MANY WINDOWS AND HAS HELPED SO MANY POOR PEOPLE.

Now ask yourself why he was this attacked after confronting the the herdsmen and their sponsors.

Education / Bauchi Secondary School Where Students Secretly Marry Themselves Shut by GoodSamaritan: 6:54am On Mar 16, 2017
*Bauchi secondary school where students secretly marry themselves shut*

By Wale Odunsi on March 13, 2017@dailypostngr

Bauchi State Government has ordered the closure of the ‘Sa’adu Zungur’ model primary and secondary school.
This followed discovery that some senior students conduct illegal marriages among themselves within the school.
Male students paid N500 as dowry to their female counterparts as precondition for their marriages, while classmates of both the ‘grooms and brides’ contribute money for refreshments at the ceremonies usually conducted secretly.
Although male and female students study in separate classes in the school, attention of the management was drawn to such illegal marriages last week when an SS2 student (name withheld) organised an illegal wedding ceremony in classrooms.
The cheers and noise reportedly attracted teachers who were still within the school premises after learning hours.
The teachers rushed to the classroom and discovered that a wedding ceremony was taking place between the two students.
The matter was then reported to the school Principal, Malam Ahmed Zailani, who informed the Ministry of Education.
The development which angered government officials led to the closure of both the primary and secondary sections of the school.
Bauchi Deputy Governor, Engineer Nuhu Gidado, in his reaction attributed the children’s illegal marriages to the threats of moral decadence in the society.
A statement on Monday by his media aide, Yakubu Adamu, disclosed that he directed the immediate closure of the school on Friday, 10th March, 2017 after being notified about the issue.
The Deputy Governor who oversees the Ministry of Education, added that “a committee which comprises all directors in the state ministry of education, the school authority, teachers as well as the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) was constituted and tasked to investigate the matter and come up with a detailed and sincere report before the school would be re-opened.”

Politics / Celebration As Court Releases 35 IPOB Members From Prison by GoodSamaritan: 9:07pm On Mar 03, 2017
Celebration As Court Releases 35 IPOB Members From Prison

A Chief Magistrates’ Court in Port Harcourt has lashed at the Nigeria Police and the state Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for unlawfully imprisoning 35 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for 37 days in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The IPOB members were arrested in Port Harcourt during a solidarity rally for US President, Donald Trump on January 23.
Chief Magistrate Sokari Andrew-Jaja discharged the 35 IPOB members because of lack of diligent prosecution by the Police and the Director of Public Prosecution in Rivers State.
The Chief Magistrate expressed anger that for 37 days after the IPOB members were arrested and detained, the Police and the DPP were not able establish the crime the suspects committed.
There was wild jubilation by thousands of IPOB members who thronged the court to show solidarity with the members of IPOB immediately the court ordered their release.

The Police had herculean task keeping them away from the court complex during the court session.
Counsel to the IPOB members, David Onyema, accused the police of deliberately keeping the arrested suspects in prison for no cogent reason known to law.
“This matter has been adjourned several times simply because the Police and DPP failed to come up with any evidence against my clients.
“Those men have been remanded in prison for more than thirty days. Then, why do you keep holding them if you don’t have anything against them.
“The Magistrate told them that if there is no noble cause against the defendants it will be in the interest of the Police and the DPP to stand down the trial.”

Politics / ‘Northern Clerics Say That Buhari Was Poisoned’ - Umar Tata Writes DSS by GoodSamaritan: 2:31pm On Feb 25, 2017
‘Northern Clerics Spreading Lies That Buhari Was Poisoned’ – Politician Warns DSS

Umar Tata, a former governorship candidate in the Katsina, has written an open letter to the country’s secret police exposing that Muslim clerics in Northern Nigeria have begun setting the stage to destabilise Nigeria by telling their followers that ailing President Muhammadu Buhari was poisoned.

You may read his open letter, republished unedited, to the director general of the State Secret Services, SSS, also known as DSS.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE DG DIRECTORATE OF STATE SECURITY SERVICES (DSS)

Sir I wish to draw your attention to the new dangerous twist to the unfortunate sickness of President Muhammadu Buhari being falsely perpetrated in our mosques which has the tendency to create serious anarchy in Katsina state.

Today Friday 24 February, 2016 at the Izala mosque, popularly called General Tsiga mosque on Katsina road in Funtua local government, the Imam, during the jumuat sermon, apologized to the congregation for coming late. This, according to him, was because he was just out of a state meeting of the Izala sect in Katsina where they were accordingly informed and directed to inform all Muslims that the sickness of President Buhari was as a result of poisoning. According to the Imam, malam Nasir Abdurrahman, Buhari was poisoned by those close to him because he has amassed over N70 trillion and they want to steal it. To steal it they must kill him and that was why they poisoned him. This to him could be explained better by the sudden stoppage of Kano-Katsina dual carriage way which work stopped since the president became sick. Malam Nasir continued by asserting that the same way Tafawa Balewa was killed was the same way Murtala Mohammed was killed and is the same way they want to kill President Buhari.

Enough is enough according to him as we are not going to accept that. This is the summary of the message he was directed to convey. I don’t know if it was the same in all other Izala mosques across the state, but even if it was not I am scared of what will happen if we allow this lie and hate speech in our mosques to go unchecked.
Funtua is a hotbed of radicalism and has always been the boiling center of religious crises in the state. In 2011 after the presidential elections that then GMB lost to Jonathan, innocent Christian lives were lost and properties worth hundred of millions were lost. All because of this kind of misleading sermons by our half literate imams. I had to confront General Buhari on this and sought for his participation in my effort at compensating the Christians who suffered loses as a result of that post election uprising. He did not come but we still went ahead to compensate them in our own small way.

Now we are about to tread the same path all over again! If Buhari dies today, may Allah do what is right for him and us, what do you think will happen? Innocent lives will be made sacrificial lambs of this loss more so if we consider the fact that, Prof Osinbajo, a Christian being the VP is the constitutional beneficiary of whatever outcome from this debacle. Are we going to allow this to happen. I think people of conscience owe it a duty not to be silent in the face of this madness. Malam Nasir should tell us who poisoned President Buhari so that the law should take its natural course if he fails to do that he should be arrested and prosecuted for incitement.

How can somebody who has amassed N70 trillion want to borrow N17 trillion for which the National Assembly is yet to grant him that approval? Who is the fool here? They have lied to us in 2015 telling us that Buhari is superior to God and now that he is discovered to be human they want to make him God all over again! No way!

They have never shown us love, care or concern under this regime for all the hardship wrought on the common man and they now want to lead innocent souls to death and destruction. We will not allow that. We have been misled far too much for far too long and it is time to expose these people for what they are, cheats and liers that think we are dumb.

If you do the right thing to nip this in the bud fine; if you do not, let it be on record that I have reported to you my fears.

Thank you very much!
Umar Tata

There's a thin line between actual togetherness and blind loyalty to a charismatic leadership. Most Pentecostal churches in Nigeria revolve around the person of the general overseer.

If you know your prophet, that is if you have one, and you believe in your prophet, wisdom demands that you follow him with all your heart. Winners follow our prophet with all of our hearts. That's the mystery behind the success of that ministry. You can never understand it with human brain. You must be part of the Winners family by being born again to understand it.

Each step we take in any direction our prophet leads always culminate in success, prosperity, victory, healing and so on. So, that's why we follow him sheepishly. God truly called him and we are proud to say we are his spiritual children. Period!

I love my prophet with all my heart!!!

*BISHOP OYEDEPO ON RETIREMENT*

If you heard or saw anything in the newspapers or anywhere that the GO has retired, it's a lie of the devil.

In our spiritual family tree we don't retire. Someone asked Kenneth Copeland "are you stepping down?", he replied, ''no I'm stepping up''. Copeland ministered for 6 hours straight at 80 years of age.

Men and brethren settle down and enjoy my being here. I'm going to be here for a very long time. I spoke to my father in the Lord (Pastor Adeboye) in person and he said "let them enjoy the confusion for a moment".

"I believe in the covenant of 120 years. I can preach for 10 services now and that proves I have many more years before I go.

If you hear anything, it's illegal and not passed into law. I'm not serving or earning anything from any body or government.

No government can determine the constitution of the church and they know.I was called by God into the prophetic in 1981 and the apostolic ministry in 1992.

No authority or law can frustrate an apostolic calling if it's from God. Forget my height oo. All the demons in Nigeria know who's who.

Just relax.
