Shikena: Some truths are actually very bitter and those who are the loudest against such truths are often the worst manifestations of those sad truths when given the opportunity.
Do your due diligence and understand the structure around a governor then identify which official assistant to reach out to. That is proper channeling.
Most of those complaining here cannot even handle 10 calls a day. I definitely cannot do 5 a day, it will affect my productivity! I have work to attend to. While I agree with you, there are however ways to explain these things. He spoke so condescendingly. Nigerian politicians see themselves as gods. Family › Re: Woman Jubilates As DNA Test Confirms All Four Children Belong To Her Husband by GorillaApp(m): 4:56pm On Feb 26 |
JaySmart4422: Why is she jubilating?
It simply shows that her husband did not trust her enough to opt for a DNA test.
Couple who trust each other, and are faithful to each other will not even think of DNA.
As a woman if you are faithful to your and he demands DNA go and do it
The moment the result is out and it confirmed that the kids are his end the married he doesn't trust u and can never trust you Coming from someone who has never being married In other news, Why do men even make a fuss when going for DNA test? The woman is not needed so why inform her? Just take your sample and samples from the child(ren) and go do your thing quietly. |

rasputinn: I don't understand Sowore's point here. What did the minister do ? The minister is a staff of the country and has security detail attached to him to deal with unexpected scenarios like this and they did what they were supposed to do. So why was Sowore trying to use the incident to chase clout ? Is he now a content creator ? He called the Minister's attention, the man humbly answered him and came back to him, an action he wasn't obligated to do considering what had just happened. And how did Sowore repay the kind gesture is to start wagging his finger in the man's face, and when the aides caution him, he had the effrontery to shout at them to not talk to him anyhow, when he himself was talking to the minister, who is his senior in ALL ramifications of life anyhow. Rubbish Did you read what was posted up there? Have you been following the story before now? Don't side with the oppressors. The average Nigerian politician is oppressive. |
Family › Re: How Divorce Affects Children In The North (video) by GorillaApp(m): 4:46pm On Feb 24 |
AdolfHitlerxXx: Divorce culture in the North is crazy. Especially in Kano.
Saw men divorce their wives over tea being too cold. Talaq, Talaq and Talaq... You don land for your Papa house.
Only there will you see a man divorce a pregnant woman. She too as soon she can force the baby to wean, she can go and drop off the baby at their gate even with the maiguard!
Where I come from, you will be forced to stay with her at least till after she delivers.
In Kano, I know a rich man whose first 2 wives are safe because they are his cousins and the extended family wouldn't take it. The other wives 3 &4, soon as they get pregnant, they seem to irritate him because he divorces them. He's done this over 20 times. I know a Bauchi woman with 9 different husbands. 3 of them on the same street shocked
Divorce isn't stigmatized and women use their fathers names so it's easy to hide if you don't do your homework.
I was house hunting at a point and saw a very well furnished apartment. Was wondering about the brand new electronics when agent told it was a couple who married 3 months previously but before moving into the house, they had divorced.
Side-pieces aren't really permitted, you marry her in, unlike Southern men get away with. But Northern men will marry a specific lady simply to taste the sugar. 6 months after when she's shown she can't even lay the bed... She gets her 3 Talaqs. This is quite revealing. Things dey happen o |

Politics › Re: At Least 50 People Killed By Terrorists On Bike In Zamfara by GorillaApp(m): 12:33pm On Feb 22 |
Jakumo: Nigeria is at war against terrorist forces that are well financed and highly motivated to impose by force of arms on ALL nations of West Africa, a violent and extremist version of Islamist caliphate dictatorship. The growing US military presence in Nigeria is testimony to the sincerity of purpose Nigeria's current administration has brought to bear in this war on terror.
Regardless of which of Nigeria's political parties happens to be in power, terrorist strikes employing hit-and-run guerilla tactics CANNOT be eliminated entirely, REGARDLESS of security precautions taken. The free movement of civilians along any nation's highways cannot be prohibited in the name of preventing terrorist attacks, while it would be numerically impossible to garrison battle-ready federal troops tasked with protecting ALL towns and villages of the land.
The current Nigerian president is attuned to the urgency of the task at hand, and is responding with the alacrity that the security threat to Nigeria necessitates, by welcoming military assistance from the USA and wisely NOT from Russia, China, or Turkey, for reasons too many to list here. Just shut up and keep this gibberish to yourself. There are intelligent folks on this platform. |

fxexperts: And who told you the economy is shrinking. the problem is you people lack ideas. you see how you open your mouth to talk nonsense like this ehnn.. You are very wrong about this perception of yours. More jobs are opening up in the country. A lot of Nigerians are currently doing remote jobs, and they are earning very well, far more than most professionals here. So what are people like you doing, waiting for the government to give you jobs? Jobs you still will not do. All you do is you will collect salaries and make the job suffer the way your counterpacts do in the civil service. If I were the government, the first thing I would do is to privatize all the civil service sector to private individuals because none of it is functioning. I never knew Nairaland can still host dumb souls like the one above. Which more jobs are opening up in the country? It's either you are plain ignorant or outrightly mischievous. Wake up and smell the coffee, most major powerhouses are leaving Nigeria. Go and research on that. Talking about remote jobs. How many Nigerians are working remotely compared to the entire population? What's the percentage? It shows you know nothing about remote jobs. Most foreign firms are not hiring Nigerians because of poor power supply and internet downtime. Most Nigerian staff always complain about the network or power supply and most foreign recruiters are beginning to take notice and reject Nigerian staff. Go to threads dedicated to remote jobs and ask there- don't take my word for it. People like you should never be in government. You will cripple the country. Lastly, I am an employer of labour. I don't sit around like you waiting for 30k stipend from your handler. Don't quote me again to avoid thunder. |

Romance › Re: If You’re Sure He’s The Father, Why Fear The Test? by GorillaApp(m): 8:02pm On Feb 16 |
anytexy: I think it is the other way round. How can a reasonable man do DNA for his kids. Any child born by a legally married wife/woman belongs to the husband. The man is looking for trouble and emotional trauma. I don't even know who gives people like these phones. So after a woman finishes whoring outside, she can bring the product home to me? If you are a woman, I will understand but if you are a man, then the angels in heaven made a mistake. |
Romance › Re: If You’re Sure He’s The Father, Why Fear The Test? by GorillaApp(m): 7:50pm On Feb 16 |
Gbadugbakun: Do you even need to tell her. DNA can be done with a strand of hair from the child or saliva or anything belonging to the child. Just take whatever you need from the child and do it secretly without her knowledge. If the child is yours you would lock up. If the child isn't yours you can confront her with the results. Telling your wife you want a DNA test is childish and dramatic, because 99% of women would play the victim card with that request. 10 cartons of gulder lager to your location! I don't understand all this hype about trust issue or what have you. Maybe men needs to be educated more that you can do it discreetly without anybody knowing. Get your biological sample and that of the child and run the test. Period! |

fxexperts: Oga University education is not a ticket to employment anywhere. And it is not the duty of the government to give anyone a job. You have to make yourself marketable so employers really need your services. Sometimes you people open your mouth and talk nonsense. Where in my write did I say the government is supposed to give him job? However, the stewwpid government you are so eager to defend failed all these folks. The economy is shrinking due to horrible policies. Companies are leaving the country in drove because they are no longer profitable as a result of the high cost of operating businesses in Nigeria. Overwhelming insecurity, scarcity of foreign exchange, high exchange rate, poor power supply that would have driven small are medium scale enterprises has crippled this country and you open you mouth to spill nonsense? Nigeria has more resources and wealth than Sweden, yet every year Nigerian youths are running to Sweden for a better life because of great leadership over there. So in your warped reasoning, a country where a high percentage of well trained corp of citizens resort to doing menial jobs, all is well there shebi? Just get out of my mention! |
