Questions are asked to understand better. How would you just conclude? Do you know how many times I read? if you can't answer , it's better you don't reply and let someone else explain... Anyways, please I have three years experience in the call centre in telecoms, I read it's not on the skilled level... Do you think I still qualify for this? Though, I got my NOC
Alright.

Your questions show that you do not understand this process. You need to go study page 1 of this thread, you'll be glad you did.

Same. My bank statement wasn't stamped but was on colored letterhead. I think we'll be fine.
Your application that has already been approved? They just want to delay small so it won't look like favouritism.

Thank you
I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong. Payment comes when you're done filling the forms and uploading your documents.

Yes I think so
@453 to 490, one would expect the applicant to be young have master or 2ormore cert and a good ielts +been married . that's d best it can get , except ircc changes d criteria next year ,I see 450+ still been relevant .
the only thing that can beat it is siblings in Canada , Canadian work experience ,and Nomination
and not too many applicants have this criteria.
However , pls do all u need to do in other to increase your score .
Hmm you need to think about how many people would land in Canada as immigrants between now and next year when the poster intends to get into the pool.

All those people would have that 15points to dash their siblings who they'll have convinced to move over grin

I see it shooting up but like I said in an earlier post, only God knows.

please house, is a savings account with more money than declared while completing the online form enough as POF. I mean is it okay to just get the statement of account and one is good to go
A letter from your bank in CIC format is the gold standard. If your bank can only give you a generic letter then you can add your bank statement.

So, I tried it again.

I assumed the valid job offer was if I am currently working.

But then, I think it means if I have a job offer already from a company in Canada. Which I don't.. So I unchecked that.

That leaves me with 471.

What are my chances?
If you really have 471, then like Topsmamen said, welcome to Canada!

I've always been of the opinion that visa officers do not have an agenda against immigrants. They are not out to refuse applications just because. They are capable of showing empathy just like you and I. Some are even really really compassionate and kind.

See below two screenshots from people who attended interviews and were 'spared' by compassionate visa officers.

Point is, let's package our applications the best way we can and then pray it gets looked at by kind and compassionate people at every step of the way.

Sadly, no.

This thing with ICAN is really annoying sha. ICAN won't count as an additional certificate for a bachelor's degree holder. ICAN still won't allow you convert directly to CPA in peace. What's now the use? cry

This is not good news...

I've been waiting patiently for my ICES evaluation and just when I feel like I'm getting close to the mark, this news comes to destabilize my evening.

The degree I'm trying to assess is from Uniport. I am about 8 weeks gone but I haven't received any email from ICES.

Please house, what do you suggest I do?
-Send ICES an email to find out if they'll assess the degree?
-Register with WES and spend more money?
-Wait to see if they'll send a similar mail to me after 14 weeks?
I'll suggest you wait till ICES concludes your evaluation. You can send them a mail though, just to get some reassurance. Graduates of UniPort have been getting their credentials evaluated without issues so I believe that case is peculiar for reasons we don't know.

please help, I woke to a sad message from ICES saying they cant verify Uniport degrees now. After almost 4 months of waiting. Please advice on the next step to take. Thank you.

See the message below

We have completed more research regarding the credential you have submitted for evaluation. Unfortunately ICES is unable to provide assessments for degrees completed at Port Harcourt University because ICES has insufficient and inconclusive information regarding the validity of the degrees that were issued by this institution.  At a later date, should ICES receive more conclusive information regarding the validity of the degrees from Port Harcourt University, then ICES will resume evaluating degrees from the said institution. Until then, ICES will not be able to provide any assessments for degrees awarded by Port Harcourt University.

In accordance with our cancellation policy outlined in the ICES Credential Evaluation Application Package, we will issue refunds for $200.

Sincerely,

International Credential Evaluation Service (ICES)/bh
This is really worrisome. Also, why are they calling the school Port Harcourt University?

Smart minds , please come to my rescue.

HR has changed his mind towards signing my Ref letter.

He now claims I should follow due process ,which is for me to apply through the Director Generals office before he can sign .

because the DG and some Directors will sign my request for a reference letter before HR can now sign the reference letter

This process will make my application "news" to the whole organization as it would pass from office to office in the admin section. although I can say I am applying for a visit and need reference letter.
That still won't change the fact that the whole office will know am applying to either visit /migrate to Canada.
Rather than address the letter to IRCC, why not do a 'To Whom It May Concern'? That way, nobody in your office will know what the letter is for. IRCC is merely interested in the content of the letter, so don't worry about it raising any concerns with them.

See an example of someone who did same and got PPR: https://www.nairaland.com/4657743/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/38#70113991
