topeolu1: Hello people, I used treasury bills from another bank but mine does not contain that clause or disclaimer. Just stated the investment details and the nominees and it will be governed by applicable Nigerian laws.
Mine matures in November. It's about 50% of my pof. Do you think I should get a confirmation letter from the bank that I can sell off before maturity or it's better to just liquidate and put in fixed deposit.
This VO are suspecting people are borrowing the money to do pof.
Kindly advise. Fear not. Besides liquidating and fixing the money won't erase the suspicions (if any) of a visa officer. |

I worked for 10months (Jan-October)and I was paid in cash where I worked. Should I put my payment monthly or just get the total sum and state it in the letter? Thanks a bunch. Use the N19,800 the government paid you monthly. Print your account statement showing the monthly inflows. That should do. |

Folafikemi: Fam pls come to my aid o. Am getting lean by the day just Becos of the thought of yet to arrive PPR o
Did my Biometrics April 1st and a week later was asked to pay for RPRF which I did and got a confirmation and since then it's been quiet. Everyday I keep hoping and praying for this good news.
How long does it take from this point to getting PPR abeg encourage me edakun. Cos a lot of my plans here is so highly dependent on this PPR right now.
Landed colleague kindly help answer this question. Just relax, it will come soon. I'm guessing you submitted in February right? Remember that the standard processing time is 6months so it's always best to make plans for 6months from AOR. I did biometrics 12th December 2018 and PPR didn't come till third week in April 2019. Even with that, my application was processed in under 6months. |

ladymarshall: I was a silent reader in part 6 with no profile, created my profile in part 7, so obviously this is my first experience with thread closing. As I wanted to reply a post earlier today from the page I was last on some days back, it said "topic locked", I thought it was my internet malfunctioning, refreshed and refreshed. Then it occured to me and I was like "oh, I am blocked". I closed the page and returned to work. Tonight, I wondered "but why did it say topic locked? How did I lock the topic? Does it mean I have deleted the topic? Is this a general issue? Are we banned on google?"
Something just told me to check the last page, only for me to see thread closed. What an embarraizement JJC no good o
Welcome to part 8 my fellow EEers. May we record new milestones in this part, smash IELTS, acquire ECA, grab ITA, ride on to Post-AOR, get the golden email, enjoy PPR rain and migrate to our new country. Speedy processing to us all. This is the part where your name makes it to the PPR hall of fame. Congratulations |

temmytee1: Did you use another passport after COPR? Cos i got another one, and had to resend the new one to accra for a new counterfoil. Someone also wrote same on this thread. Maybe if CIC isn't notified, it might be a different game. But i notified them to avoid stories that touch at point of entry, and cos i intended to travel close to the time my medicals would expire. So verify or support your assertions before writing "do better" You never mentioned notifying CIC in your original post. The person who asked had no intention of notifying CIC and you told him/her straight up that their visa automatically becomes invalid if passport is renewed. Let's put out accurate and complete info here abeg. |

doppler06: I don’t think there was a need for “do better” Nd he/she’s actually right though cuz someone has shared a story here before about how CIC invalidated and issued them a new copr because they had changed passports and notified CIC. Me thinks if you renew and go with your 2 passports, you are good. But if you renew and notify CIC about a change in passport, then they recall the issued copr and tell you to send in the new passport for reissue Hundreds of people come to this thread for information. We should all do better by being sure of what we put out here. |
