glen1: this Canadian immigration law have double standard because they claim religion freedom in Canada but then why denial entry for resident to people like me that marry more than one wife based on my religion belief..i cannot understand this type of limited freedom!! alphaNomega: White people. It is a crime for a man to marry more than one woman, but it is okay if a man marries another man. Well it is what it is. Sorry about that |

As long as you’re legal and authorized to work here, no employer would openly discriminate against you based on age, sex and race, so don’t worry. I’ve met people in their sixties who recently completed college and got into the workforce. TOMSY: Hello everyone. Please I have a question.
I know in Nigeria, there is usually an age restriction of 24-26 years, for entry level position.
Is there age discrimination in Canada for a 30 year old who has done her PhD and no work experience?
Thanks in advance. |

19CannyMum: You see me and this Canada cold, I almost did not do express entry because I hate cold. That was my only fear.
Cold no dey catch me again! Yesterday was -1 na so I dey sweat for bustop. Coman see me unbuttoning everywhere and unzipping everything.
My people, do not ever let cold discourage you from the Canada. The only thing that should discourage you is if you're earning monthly salary of 3m (10k dollars) in Nigeria. Was telling a friend that was complaining about 0° cold in Germany that in Calgary we don’t say it’s cold till it drops to -10° and below and that if not that Calgary weather can change in minutes, -1° is so warm that we can leave home in shorts and T-shirt sef |

sleekysoft: Hello Sir this is all shades of not nice if i work for something and it comes out not what i expected i have every right to talk.. the gentle man that wrote that post is accurate.. i live in a place where i engage canadians and trust me they freaking complain a lot let alone me an immigrant.. the honest truth is Canada is shouldnt be compared to nigeria cos they arent on the same status quo. Canada is expensive like it or not.. i live in a place i pay 15% HST on anything and minimum wage is 11.40$..there is no train and bus works from 6am to 6pm.. Lol you didn’t research beforehand to know that HST is 15% and minimum wage is $11.40 where you chose to settle? Please stop. |
