kumawood reminds me of the Ashantis & how their history is associated with the kumawood or kuma tree.
Historically, a cutting from the Kuma tree was planted on two different parts of the territory of the Ashanti Kingdom, in order to determine where the seat of the Paramount Chief of the Ashantis would be placed.
Eventually, one of the planted cuttings died away. That place was named KUMAWU, literally meaning, (KUMA-AWU) the Kuma tree is dead.
The spot where the other one grew to become a big tree, was named KUMASI, (Literally KUMA-ASE). It became the seat of the Paramount Chief of the Ashanti Kingdom.

Sorry to say, but your argument does not hold water. Anglican priests perform their priestly tasks with great zeal even more so than their Catholic counterparts, despite their marital status. Family responsibility can never in any way be a distraction for someone who wants to serve God.

On the issue of diverting funds, Catholic priests of nowadays divert funds to their relatives (mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, etc) build houses everywhere. Nothing changes even when they get married.

The Bible never supports celibacy of priests, it was a doctrine integrated into Roman catholicism from the ancient Roman pagan religion. A place in the new testament specifically prescribes that a priest in church should be the husband of a wife.

I hope that this reform will be implemented, and more reforms should be instigated in the Catholic Church so that they will some day start practicing true Christianity and not one adulterated with pagan, ritualistic practices.

Lol, told you I watch Ghana tv stations a lot. I watch the kumawood movies, especially the subtitled ones, so I can understand. I even know some of the regular faces, even though I can't remember their names, except Martha Ankoma and one popularly called Lil wayne, funny looking dude.

There's also one fair complexioned Kumawood actress I like so much, forgotten her name. She seems to be the most popular kumawood actress. Very versatile as well.
