Why I said and still insist the poster is a fraudster

1)The poster sold the gender card to gain some form of sympathy. If it was a male behind the moniker, I am cocksure many people would have questioned her claims.

2) The poster knows if he or she had said the required bill was #180k, some people would have bin reluctant in offering a helping hand, but d fraudster played a smart one by trying to sound more convincing by making it look like the poster had done its best to raise some cash, hence the need for assistance to balance up.

3)When ones loved one is in a critical state, I believe naturally, you won't have much time to respond to insults online. Surfing on the internet won't be your priority even if it is where you have resulted to seek for help.

4) The fraudster subtly rejected someone's request to see a picture of her with her mother. At least you can blur the faces.

5) When your loved one is in a critical state, what people will think about you or your actions will be the very least of your worries. He or She was more concerned with what people would say about her and her mother than her so called mother's welfare.

6)Most and if not all hospitals will take a part payment when provided especially when it over 65-75% of the required funds needed and I'M CERTAIN MOST AND IF NOT ALL HOSPITALS WILL ACCEPT THAT FUND FROM A LITTLE GIRL WHO IS A STUDENT WITH NO ONE TO ASSIST.

7) Doctors do not keep receipts. Why do we have the accounts department?

Its glaring that the poster is a thief and I sincerely hope I am wrong but if I am right, I do hope you face some challenges in the nearest future.

Once again, to all the guys who prayed, sent some money and assisted in one way or the other, please do not stop helping but I advise you do more research.

Make sure people go to these clinics and verify their claims, take pics and report back to Nairaland.

There are many pointers to the effect that he's a scammer. He rebuffed any attempt by some contributors here to confirm the authenticity of his spurious story. Said he can't post pictures of the non-existent mum, etc. Who is ashamed of posting such pictures when you know you're begging for assistance? Is he better than numerous people that have posted pics on nairaland? He didn't post pics because there's no pics to post, period! The mum is not in any hospital. Moreover, I checked his profile when I saw the thread and I saw another topic he posted about feminism, who has time to post stupid topics when the mum is critically ill at the emergency ward of a hospital?

It pains me really bad that he got away with this scam.

i just moved back to Europe (Denmark) , after 3 yrs in Rio de Janeiro...



IMHO Paris (of course), Tokyo or anywhere in Scandinavia(Norway, Sweden, Denmark) have high level of savoir vivre... but some places might not have top savoir vivre etiquette but nevertheless be fantastic places to discover (Australia/Brasil/Argentina etc)

remember, visiting a place is great, but if you really want to discover the culture/people/custom of a country, you have to LIVE there for at least 6 months. yes, the touristy bit are nice but when you lose yourself in a city, thats when you will discover some gems about this place, the type of gems you dont read about in tourist brochures.
