I want to use this medium to inform the house that my redmi 4x is one year today. From Android 6 to Nougat, Muio 8 to 9.5, it's a wonderful experience. This is the best phone I have used since I started using android phone. Sometimes, I wonder the value those using Mi 8se will be getting. I'm elated. Ploudly #4 members. I will upgrade soon when time is right. Thanks all.

By the way I'm not confused , I derive joy in exploring stuff that I previously know absolutely nothing about. lemme give you a brief history, I heard about xiaomi phones and was impressed and decided to buy one someone sold xiaomi note 4g (na so I see the name o) it turned out to be a fake/clone the performance/camera was a far cry from the good news I've been hearing about xiaomi I learnt my lesson from the questions/response I got here but I was not deterred. I started saving for redmi note 4x but along the line someone offered me the a clean redmi note 2 for 19k I couldn't resist. It turned out to be a very good device but the battery is very poor berely 2 hours SOT but after some asking questions/research/rom testing/upgrade/downgrade I can get about 4.5 SOT. I will be using this until I've saved enough to get a decent xiaomi phone (mi max 2 on my mind). So you see how far asking questions has gotten me.

Redmi note 2, still missed those red lit capacitive touch buttons. Like you said the let down is the battery, thanks to the Mtk Helio X10, during sunny days you go fear your phone .

Yes i made a choice between Mi 5 and Redmi 5 since none of you made any constructive criticism. It is very clear i dont like a large phone. I checked all the Xiaomi phones i could find on Jumia and narrowed it to 2 based on spec preference and my budget. I asked for opinions, all i got was "go for Note 5 instead" like am a baby who has no choice but to drink his mother's breast milk at least for the first 6 months of his life. I am an adult treat me like one, i have my preferences. Your suggestions must be in line with my desires.

Are you trying to teach me how to love a phone you love? How is telling me to buy note 5 instead amount to teaching. How can i buy a 158.5mm tall and 180g phone when i clearly stated i dont like such tall or such heavy phone? Are you teaching me my preferences.

1. I want to pay with my atm card, and I noticed I can pay in dollars though there was also an option of paying in Naira. I would prefer paying in dollars because converting the amount charged to Naira is much higher than when I pay in dollars.
2. The shipping options presented to me for getting the phone is SIGNPOST (REGISTERED AIRMAIL), are their services okay and do the deliver as expected?
3. The other items I want order will be shipped via NETHERLANDS REGISTERED (REGISTERED AIRMAIL), also do they deliver items as expected without issues?
4. Lastly, will the items be delivered to my doorstep (the address I provided) and do I need to pay customs and the likes?

I nr fit talk jare, gsmarena trashy endurance rating . Imagine saying the Mi 5 out outperforms Redmi 5. People don't understand that a buggy rom will likely give you a poor result. Many times Gsmarena run reviews on Shop roms too. Again the average Nigerian tend to believe foreigners more in virtually everything, won't blame us though, many times we have betrayed ourselves even for free. If you check Gsmarena's review of the Redmi note 4SD, they said it takes over 4 hours to completely charge the device. I remembered telling someone here that it's not true, because mine took 2.5 hours approximately, but you know who people chose to believe.

18.9 is the display aspect ratio while what i wrote is the diagonal in inches. I didnt write the inches cos i expect most people of this thread to know. Redmi Note 5 is same phone as Redmi 5 Plus. It is the succeeding model of Note 4 but dumping the the note part of the phone.

Not again! Your info is for Indians, Redmi note 5 here is what is called Redmi note 5 AI, it's different from Redmi note 5 ( India)/ Redmi 5 plus which you posted. Check very well, Redmi note 5 we refer to here has dual rear cameras and Snapdragon 636 under the hood.
