fibonacci2526:
Yes because if them agree, trust us we go abuse am.

Collect our refund, still go back to PO to collect the phone and pay the 16k.

Now u don begin think bad things, but na very correct statement b dat. Well, you should be able to tell and make them return a package for you.

fibonacci2526:
Just like that? Alixpress dispute team don tough these days ooo.

Hahahaha, we nr pray for bad thing sha.

fibonacci2526:
Ok, so if the tracking still shows "item at local post office" and alixpress mediates that you should go pick up your item at the post office, what next?

You tell them, you couldn't find the item.

muyibabs:
They opened my colleague's phone. They quoted it as "redmi note 5 with accessories" in their charging document and quoted the value as 92,510

Where are they getting the 92,510 from?

fibonacci2526:
And I ask again, what if the item isn't returned after rejecting it?

Buyers protection runs out, you open dispute.

fibonacci2526:
How can he then get his money back? Remember the tracking status go dey show say e don reach naija, can dispute work in this case?

Na only time e go take, if u decide not to collect am, dem go return am na, na to open dispute later say u nr receive d item. Time naim b d issue.

macbeyland:
Imagine Nipost charging me 16470 each for 4 phones. This is real madness.

Smh, na to return the phones na .

muyibabs:
Guys, this custom charge is real o. My colleague was just charged N16,556 at the Post Office for a phone now. It was unbelievable.

This is simply unacceptable! For how many phones? Your colleague don enter one chance.

Great to be back after almost half a year. Oga Gptech, Chairman Grandmufti, been awhile o. How have you all been?

I need help o. My Google TV keeps crashing once I connect to the internet. The weird part is that I don't have it installed. Abeg what can I do to stop this

You mean Google Movies, so long it doesn't affect you in anyway, ignore, have been experiencing such for some time now. Though I haven't updated too since March this year, an update should fix that.

Welcome from hibernation mode.

frankyvalll:
good morning everyone. welcome to a new and blessed week. I greet my oga and madam dem @gptech, grandmufti, Eleonora, noobody, protein0, holuwaxeun, madam Fibonacci et Al.

My Redmi 4x had multi coloured notification light, though it was after flashing EU ROM

Yeah, since last year, but many won't fancy that.

eleojo23:
Is it possible to have those multiple colour lights that I am seeing?

Current Xiaomi devices from the Redmi 4x support only white notification light.

fibonacci2526:
And a dedicated sd slot. Idk why people think 3000mah in a sd625 device will be poor.

As it stands, will gladly pick the Redmi s2 over the Redmi 5 plus.

pussymoneyweed:
Pm. Xiaomilite, please, how does the notification light works for whatsapp, facebook etc on xiaomi redmi note 5, mine is just only working when charging. Abeg....

settings- Notification and status bar- App notifications- select the app you need and turn on notification light.
Also, settings-Additional settings- Notification light- Enable ' pulse notification light'.

Lexusgs430:
So long as both phones can do the basics and play Hill Climb Racing 2....... All join for me.....

Whenever you hear mtk, your heart beats Umidigi! Umidigi!! Umidigi!!!. I hope this is very normal for heart beats .

kekilika:
If Selfie - 16MP facing camera and a dedicated SD card slot are what are influencing your decision, go for it.

If not, go for it in this order: Redmi Note 5 > Redmi 5 plus> Redmi S2/Redmi 5

From reviews it's obvious the Redmi 5 plus only beats the Redmi s2 in two areas-bigger battery and FHD screen. The Redmi s2 seems to be a better value for money, way better cameras, far better sound output, and the 3000mah battery is looking to be on par with the 4000mah battery of the Redmi note 3 pro.

Phayteprecious1:
Good morning Xiaomite, pls i have a battery issue.......my phone was around 2:57am when I woke up by 6:49am it was already 43% though my data was on throughout but I did not use my phone at all

You don't have a battery problem, always switch off your data before going to bed if you intend to conserve battery. There are apps that run at the background that make use of data and drains your battery. Unstable network when data is also a battery vampire.

henryduru2:
I have one

Have already got a deal, thanks boss.

greenhulk:
Lol, I'm sure only few people with 4k tv in Nigeria actually watch 4k content on it to see it's full potential. I have a Samsung 4k tv and I've never watched a 4k movie on it, I have a few 4k videos of about 5 mins and one file of 5 minutes is about 1.8gb. Too bad ps4 pro can't play 4k Blu Ray but the tv does a good job of upscaling videos. A lot of people will play 240p movies on 4k or even 1080p tv and say the quality is not good. When u watch real 4k content or even real 1080p content u will see the difference.

This thread is a joke, it's like someone displaying a 1,000hp car and then u go and test drive it on a road with slow moving traffic. How then will u show what the car can do?

As we speak, some persons are planning to get a 4k TV for their Gotv decoder in order to get better looking pictures when compared to the full HD TVs they are currently on , tells you alot about the average Nigerian.
I get some points the op is trying to make, like making someone have the feel of a great display from a seemingly average performing screen. This is especially true with mobile phone sellers, in addition to artificial lighting, we all know they usually set the screen brightness to maximum, and many will think such displays are excellent. They even use such tricks to fool people to think many of such phones possess great cameras.

drmuchin:
Are you residing within Eastern Region? I am not fully convinced!

Wetin u 1 buy sef?

fibonacci2526:
Gptech, who send you message?

Oga you mentioned him and he answered you based on his experience with the seller, why not buy the item in your local shop then as you are not convinced?

Hahahaha

greenhulk:
Ummm, but how is playing 4k Blu Ray discs or dts audio discs on their system cheating? They are simply playing what will bring out the full potential of the TV's. If someone buys the tv and plays the same 4k media on it he will get the same quality. Wait oh, so u are actually expecting to get 4k quality image on a normal DVD? U got to get kidding me.

I have seen people say 720p TVs are sharper than 1080p and mostly 4k TVs . Many people don't understand how resolution works, you'll see some playing a 240p video on a large screen and complain that a much smaller screen is clearer .

DONADAMS:
xiaomi largest?? I never knew oh..thought it was an upcoming coy

Should be second largest after Huawei.

drmuchin:
