Camera not bad sha, just slightly better than Redmi note 5.

Sold my phone after just 3 months because it lacked dedicated SD slot. Choosing between using 2 sims without SD card or 1 sim with SD card is annoying.

Annoying depending on the type of user you are and your pocket. Won't even consider using an sdcard if I have an internal memory of 64gig, I prefer OTG flash for further storage.

Was contemplating if flashing it would help.
Decided to take it to a phone repairer for his opinion. he says it is a power problem not a software issue that flashing would solve. and was charging 6k to fix it.

Wanted to seek the view of the experts here before I decide if I will hand the phone to the repairer or not.

About 3 cases I have seen had nothing to do with hardware, purely software.

Plus phone to charger and try holding power button for as long as 15 secs, you can also try the button combinations when plugged to charger.

The truth is if money is not a factor, the only outstanding redmi phone now is redmi note 5. All althers na wash.

Talking about the size as that seems to be an ish, I was always an advocate of a 5 inches devices. I always swore I wasn't gonna use any device that is bigger than a 5 incher. 2017 was the breaking point, I tried a 5.5" device and I was like this isn't too bad ( I kept wondering why I stuck with a 5 inches device for like ever). Am prolly going to a 5.99" with infinity display next or 6.28" with 19:9 display. I go adjust.

Just a matter of time, this evangelical movement is indeed powerful, Princetom1 watch out, Mi Max potential convert.

You need root, but don't expect a wow improvement because the hardware isn't great.

Battery life is cool with the Mi A1 because of the procesor used.

If you are after camera, Mi A1 , more trendy look Meizu m6s. But why considering stock Android for a lady sef? Don't think she'll appreciate the boring looks.
