DJperdurabo: Here we go...
Could not capture screen of my aliexpress account due to the fact that I configured the website to open in a protected mode that negates all right-clicking, copy and paste, and windows desktop and programmes access (trying to protect my little money in the bank from you know who...). , I just wish this happen everyday. |

DJperdurabo: Kinda surprised. Ordered a phone on Aliexpress. Phone was shipped on 23rd, was told the usual phone would arrive Nigeria within 25-30 days. Forgot about the issue considering the time only to get a mail that my phone has reached Nigeria today.
Thought it was a mistake. Took my tracking number and tracked it via Aliexpress. Phone really had reached Nigeria. Still didn't believe. Entered Nipost, tracked it and lo and behold the package was not only in Nigeria but has been dispatched (or about to, don't know what that "Next Office" statement on the tracking page meant) to the post office zip code I placed.
Now, this is my question; is it that the 3wks duration starts from Nigeria as the parcel is here already (about 4 days from China to Nigeria) or the money I paid for shipping made this fast shipping possible. I choose to be the doubting Thomas please upload screenshots of the current status of your order. Ensure you conceal your tracking number ooo . |

jetz: so am torn between ordering the xiaomi redmi 5 from aliexpress or using jumia global services dunno which one will be fast enough as e dy hot peeps with xperience make una yarn me biko gracias... . Apart from the the speed advantage of Jumia Express, you can't compare both, Aliexpress is far better. The advantages are huge! In jumia, you can only return after 7 days, in Aliexpress you have at least 15 days to open dispute after confirming you have received an item. Talking about speed, it's possible and I have got a phone for just 9 days from the time of ordering. With AliExpress, you can tell seller to flash a particular rom for you before shipping with Jumia, sometimes you don't even know what rom you are getting (whether Chinese, Global or Shop), until you receive it. With Aliexpress, you mostly have the option to buy the phone along with necessary accessories from same seller, so you don't have to start running here and there to get one. With AliExpress you have more flexibility with choosing your favourite colours and variant of a particular model. With Aliexpress, you have more opportunity to learn about a seller and product because of a more comprehensive user review. For those complaining about lost item they most likely used China Small Packet Plus for shipping, that's an untracked method of shipping (cheaper tiko dey purge sometimes). Well, for the records, you are almost 100% of winning a dispute in such cases, have never lost any with those guys. The list goes on. |

fibonacci2526: What mistake exactly? I prefer black front panels because they cover the bezels very well and they look more pleasing to my eyes. There is no difference in price, it's the resellers that Jack up the price of black colors because they know it's in high demand. So they are making no loss for offering to send the black colour. One day, I go demand for compensation for something like this sef, make dem know how e dey b . |

NoDulling4here: Xiaomi is supposed to bear the cost for this mistake. I don't understand this statement from the store.
By the way, what is so special about black? We all buy case of our choice to cover our phones.
I think the price difference between black and the other colors may be due to cost of production. No difference in price between colours of this phone and many other models, it's sellers playing mind games with consumers, if there is any price difference, Xiaomi would have said so at launch. |
