So whats the way out?
Didn't see the gcam part, you can actually get some better picture quality for some scenes with that, but don't forget you bought a budget phone not a flagship, you want a better camera you spend the cash.
Phones › Re: Why The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Is The Best Budget Android Smartphone At $109.99 by Gptech(m): 11:01am On Jan 11, 2018
TechAbattoir:
Xiaomi is a popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has a quite good brand presence in Nigeria (if you know, you know). Its Redmi Note 4X smartphone was one of its most successful smartphones of 2017, and that's because it offers great features at a low price.

Here are some of its specs:

5.5-inch FHD display
3GB RAM.
Octa-core 2GHz Snapdragon 625 processor.
16GB internal storage, expandable to 256GB.
13MP rear 5MP front cameras.
Infrared and fingerprint sensor.
4100mAh battery.
MIUI 9 with Android 7.0 Nougat.
4G LTE supports eight bands.

And it's just $109.99! You can see why I say it's the best budget Android smartphone right??

Actually, the price online is around $157 (N55,000), but I have a coupon code that you can use to reduce it to just $109.99 (around N40k) on Gearbest.
Get the coupon and see why Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is the best budget Android smartphone

If you need more coupons on any product online, you can contact me on techabattoir@gmail.com
What about the versions- 3gig ram, 32gig rom and 4gig ram, 64gig rom? You didn't say anything about them.

Type Google play services on playstore and download/update them, they include apps like Google play Music, hangout, Google, Maps, Gboard, etc. That will stop the phone from going off and on randomly? Because that thing happens when u turn off the phone. Once it's back on, it starts acting up. Thanks anyways, would do as u said.
Do it first let's see the outcome.

so it definitely possible from Chinese stable to Chinese developers rom without PC then?
Yea, it's possible, though not 100% guaranteed, and you have to backup your files because you'll lose everything.

360Cam or GCam Sud boost it then?
Those don't actually boost picture quality.

Ooohh, OK I thought you said it possible to upgrade Chinese stable to Chinese developers without PC same with the global but not possible switching from Chinese to global or vise versa without a PC, sorry if am not getting used.
Ok, I got you wrong, thought you were saying from Global stable to Chinese developer.

Don't get your hopes high, it's good but not up to the max 2. Apart from a more powerful flash, I rate it at about the same level as the note 4.

for instance, it possible to upgrade to a Chinese developers rom from the stable rom the redmi 5 plus without the use of PC straight from their site.
Not possible.

it's true but will u prefer a vendor rom to a Chinese stable rom?
Hehehehe, some vendor roms are good ooo, and you can easily flash official roms when available on miui via the updater app, you don't even need to unlock bootloader again since the door is already opened grin. For devices without much support will go for the Chinese rom, for those with support, will likely do with a stable vendor rom.

Those Chinese ppl nr dey comprehend English well ooo, e don happen to me before, after explaining to dem say na Global rom I need, dem end up flashing vendor rom.

Billyzone4:
is it also possible to get the Chinese developers rom and global developers/stable rom to work on it without rooting or flashing , will they also receive OTAs.
Of course you don't need root access to flash between miui roms. The highest level of Miui is the China developer rom, then the global developer rom, then the China Stable rom, and lastly the Global stable rom. Switching between China and Global roms require the use of PC via Mi flash tool. You can easily upgrade from Global stable to Global developer rom even without PC, but downgrading from Developer to Stable requires a PC or a custom recovery, same goes for the Chinese roms. If you buy a Xiaomi with Chinese rom, the truth is you are even supposed to enjoy it better than those with Global roms, just that some persons are not comfortable seeing some Chinese characters in some Chinese preinstalled apps as fibonacci2526 rightly put it.

global rom to most aliexpress sellers means English language+OTA updates ability +playstore.
Till it's on miui website, redmi 5plus global rom isn't available
Vendor rom of course, thats how those sellers behave they will flash vendor rom and call it global rom, later you see people complaining of unstable performance and inability to get OTA updates.

Their Camera software is Good

I've compared LeEco Le S3 X626 with my Mi Max 2... I was very ashamed to be honest and fairness.

Was very very disappointed
Am surprised with this assertion, because the Redmi note 4x when I tested it again the LEeco le s3 gave almost similar results.
This is a link to the thread I uploaded the samples, you can go to the next page for continuation. Can you please do something similar with the Max 2?

@Gptech

Since I downloaded, installed and apply this third party theme my phone heat up when charging and am not too comfortable,

Any solution
Heating up while charging shouldn't bother you, you can apply another theme if you are not comfortable with it, that's the only way.

Who uses Gcam here? The new version with portrait mode rocks and it improves picture quality a lot. The portrait mode is awesome. It really looks like pictures taken with expensive cameras and it works with most phones. I tried it on redmi note 4 and my mi 5s plus, its the bomb grin the attached picture is one of the samples from the redmi note 4 photography group on telegram taken on a redmi note 4.
