Redmi 5 plus overthrowing Redmi Note 4? I am not sure about that. I have checked it out though. It has got potential but the impact Note 4 made in the market cannot be matched to another.
Truly once you go Xiaomi, you will never go back. Whenever I see tecno, infinix phones in the hands of people, i see scraps. I am really thankful for the day i stumbled upon the Xiaomi thread. Before now i have never been device specification-conscious but xiaomi has made me appreciate the beauty of a smartphone.

You'll need to order for it from AliExpress, both screen and digitiser, then give to a technician to replace. Should take within 3 weeks to deliver and costs less than 10k both to buy and fix it.

Redmi 5 plus is not as big as many of us thought. The phone is few inches taller than rn4... They increased the screen to body ratio thereby maintaining almost the same size with rn4. If placed side by side with rn4 u will surely take the r5plus. Its sleek, very beautiful and can fit into the pocket perfectly. It has a good battery life almost at par with rn4. Waiting to port to global stable rom when it becomes available.

Bad guy, why not port to Chinese developer rom first? I doubt you will consider Global stable rom after trying it out.

You can buy from Xiaomi Online store. The Xiaomi Redmi 5plus doesn't have a global rom, it's vendor rom you'll get if you choose global rom for it.

The next note of course, if it will ever be, or the one with the new moniker to replace the note series. I just have the strong feeling that Xiaomi can't risk leaving the Redmi 5 plus as the successor to Redmi note 4/4x, at least the competition won't allow them to do that. They'll either release the note 5 or another device to replace the note 4/4x, or maybe still, release another version named Redmi 5 plus pro with snapdragon 630 at least .

Of course it's not good enough even though it depends on individual usage. It's possible there is nothing wrong with our rom because your network is poor, this actually drains lots of power juice. If you don't mind, you can do factory reset like twice more and use your phone like that. If you did backup of apps, just install them afresh to flush out bugs.

In Lexusgs430's voice, you cannot eat your eba and have it , you can get this and have the luxury feel, it's soft (good for shock absorbing), light, fits perfectly, doesn't make the phone feel bulky, and cheap enough that you can buy more than one. It's the best I have used so far IMO.

What are the pros and cons of developer Rom?

Developer rom is just higher than Global rom, receives weekly updates, gets new features quicker that will take months for Global rom to get or may never get. The cons to me is you'll need data to regularly update, but you can even decide not to update. Most times updates are usually just over 100mb. The other con is that you might encounter some bugs, but they are usually fixed ASAP.

Steps :
Copy the rom into the internal memory of your device in a folder you should name downloaded_rom, then go to the updater app, tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen, choose update package, then scroll down to the folder, 'downloaded_rom ', and tap on the rom. Update will begin automatically, don't stop it till it's completed, takes around 15 mins. Ensure you switch on data during the process.

Servant ke! Una nr go kill person with washi! If you are already on Android 7, you can download the rom from miui, and flash via your updater app, you'll lose all your files in the process, so you have to especially manually backup your files to an external memory.
