Just felt like giving you guyz update as regards dis issue cos 'eti toba gbo alo ye ki o gbo abo'

Thankfully, the seller/owner of the phone(Xiaomi Mi max prime) contacted/called me frm dia base in sambisa ystday and gave me the Mi account password. The buyer of the phone is rocking the phone now. Thank you and May GOD Bless us all

N.B: One thing dis Mi account wahala tot me is dat Xiaomi has a very strong security. To som extent, a stolen xiaomi phone with Mi account 'find my phone' activation on it is hard to wipe or format. There may be oda ways of bypassing it o but to d best of my research n knowledge, it is 'impossible'

Nice one Xiaomi

You are right, you can't break into miui for now.

Do not update your redmi 4x to 8.2.10.0 cos it's full of bugs.

1. Battery drains out quickly and it takes time to charge up
2. The phone stop connecting to computer through USB, it's showing charging option only .

Those are the two things I've noticed now, will update the list later

Not everyone encounter such issues though, did you update via OTA or manually? I updated for a friend and no such issues.

I do. Registered two fingers sef. Another unique feature about the finger print is after reboot, u can't unlock except by pin/password. And afta wrong prints too, unlock by pin/password.

Xiaomi sha. Dem try

Yeah, you are right, it's not a xioami feature sha, it's from Android, I think from Lollipop or so.

its being shipped already

Ok, no problems, it's also a very good phone if you like the screen size, plus it's not as powerful as the note. You can also decide to sell it if you want, buyers are readily available provided price is good too.

My RN4X battery drains faster don't know d reason why please what should I do to solve dis....

And please upload your battery stats, should be a bug.

Thanks.
This security feature is very dangerous then. Once one forgets pin/password no 2ways to it...u re losing your files atlst most of it

That's why it's called security, if you misplace the keys to your doors, you are locked out too like strangers. I just hope one doesn't encounter a bug that makes your password incorrect even though it is.

Good evening House. I have a question on security.
If i enter my password/pin wrongly after 5times, I know phone is disabled for few seconds then one tries again.
My question is, after entering wrongly, i expected to see 'forgot password' option and enter recovery email address. I am not seein that option. Is it general for miui platform? Or i have not enabled that. Note i have set up my mi account

Lastly I tried accessing files on mi cloud via browser but it's asking fr phone verification. Code was sent but not received. Solution as well. Thanks
Just tried it now, am on developer rom, and here is the screenshot, it's clearly viewed as a security measure by miui.

Nawa. That is serious o. After locking fr few secs, the next wrong pin/password disables the phone for mins...i didn't try wrong password after that before one disables phone for a day like that of iPhone.

I registered both glo and mtn for my mi account

Tried rebooting?

Well well o.
Very warm and hospitable humans.

Still shook mouth sha.

What makes global version better?
How you see this link?

Global Version Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Smartphone 4GB 64GB Snapdragon 625 Octa Core CPU 5.5'' 1080p Display 13.0 MP FCC CE
http://s.aliexpress.com/zqUZjuYr
(from AliExpress Android)

Global version usually get support for more bands used globally, some Chinese versions get only support for bands in China, so generally u dey safer with global version. Meanwhile some sellers go just flash global rom for phone and begin call am global version grin

.

Meanwhile, I advise you go for snapdragon.

Good Morning House.

A newbie is asking, assuming the cost is not a challenge which of the Xiaomi phone will you go for (or is the best)?

What is the best budget (Cost effective in relations to all round performance) Xiaomi Phone?

Also, please name three top dealers in this forum which delivers problem free and at a good rate for Xiaomi Phone purchases.

Appreciate all responses

You have already been answered, and Protein0 has the best offer for you too.

I follow buy that phantom f7. It was my 1st Android phone the thing didn't last 6 months. Charging port wahala to battery problem. I was frustrated

That still remains one of the best Tecno devices, it really bridged the gap to a large extent between Tecno phones and the likes of Samsung then, yours was indeed a bad experience.

You men should understand women like to move with the trend. Only few of us actually bother to be unique. If a woman has friends who use Samsung, give her a phone 100 times better than a Samsung, she will complain and tell you Samsung is the best.

My advise is, buy what your woman appreciates don't force anything on her.

Keep your Xiaomi phones to yourself till she understands Xiaomi phones. You want her to start explaining Xiaomi phone to her friends using iphone, Samsung, techno, infinix when we have lots of guys who do not even believe in Xiaomi yet?

I know how many questions Tosinjay asked me before he joined the Xiaomi family. He was a Samsung person before the initiation into Xiaomi hood

True talk, but I always ensure all my female friends think out the box, they must be different otherwise friendship nr go even fit kick off. For dis kind age wen pple get access to internet, e dey very funny say many nr sabi use their data, na only chatting and movies dem kw grin
