If I were in your shoes, will never go for any Huawei because miui is a better software. Since you don't have any problem with cash, if I were you, I would go for the mi 6. .

Xiaomi phones that support band 28 are Redmi note 3 pro SE and Mi note 2.

Huawei flagship is better than Xiaomi flagship, so I can say Huawei is better. But when you ask for value for money, then Xiaomi is far better, imagine Huawei G power costs more than Redmi note 4, phone that can't compete with Redmi 4a apart from huge battery.


Lastly, in terms of UI, I think miui is the best Android you can get.

Yeah, we are saying same thing, but the way these our local brands have blindfolded Nigerian customers is alarming! Imagine people thinking Tecno makes cheap phones! They actually did in the days of the N3, N7, and Phantom f7, but not now. If you check the price of the Tecno f7 for instance when it launched for around 36k, it was almost similar to offers from Xiaomi and Meizu then. Right now because people don't know about specs and all, they dish out trashes and sell them at exorbitant prices. As I have stated before, if Tecno or Infinix should produce a phone like the Redmi note 4 with snapdragon,they will sell for over 170k, and you'll see people here calling it cheap. The advert will be like 'the fastest and best processor in the world - octacore snapdragon, 2.0Ghz( without ever letting consumers know its actually snapdragon 625). Again you'll see people justifying the price tag with the claim,' afterall it's a snapdragon device '.

Chai, i downloaded the recovery rom and my phone is refusing to enter recovery mode

Why? Nr go brick ur phone oooo, u better do backup first, plus you don't need to enter recovery mode to flash recovery rom. Do it with your updater app, copy the recovery rom you downloaded to the internal memory of your device, place in a folder you should name downloaded_rom, then go to the updater app, click the three dots on the top right of your screen, then click on choose update package, I believe you already know this.

Nothing really special ooo , but you get updates every Friday, which means you get new features first before others on stable. As an example, you can see that those on developer rom already have Nougat update, plus there are features like the screen recorder already in developer rom since like February, you can use time lapse in the video camera at Full HD, you can use both timer and voice recognition for taking selfies, plus other things I can't remember for now.

Check the screenshot, I don't think the 'text' option is available for Global rom

Check if the developer rom is based on Marshmallow, if it is then you can try using your updater app.
