I'm not careless with my phone jare, I trust myself with it, that's why I refused to get those things, was returning from the library yesterday, listening to music and spinning my phone when it landed on it's side, the upper part of the screen came out, I somehow managed to tuck it back in but to me, it doesn't look the same and I might just sell it and buy a note 4

Of course it's because of accidents like this we buy 'those things', not carelessness. Only this year, two persons I ordered phones for had similar experience like you after quoting similar line. One was lucky (Mi 5, only small crack at d bottom), the other was not (Redmi note 4 mtk, screen is like cobweb now, am ordering a replacement for him), you are just lucky, next time you might not.

Type Aafont in your themes search bar, that's the short cut.
The most efficient way is to ensure your data is on and change location to India, might take some hours before you see the font option in your themes app, mine was immediatel sha

Hello house,

I don't know what happened to my phone but it just suddenly went off 2days ago while playing Candy Crush. Battery was about 95% at the time.
Firstly, the game hanged and I tried pressing the home button to exit but it didn't respond, however I noticed navigation buttons light up whenever I touch them. So I pressed down the power button and selected the reboot option...and the phone just went off normally but has not come back on till now.
I'll be grateful if someone can get me out of this mess.

Dial *#*#4636*#*# then select phone information 1 or 2 depending on which sim you use, scroll down abit, band change 'set preferred network type' to WCDMA only.

Go back to fastboot and download the China rom, then flash again. Make sure you installed all necessary drivers

I believe he knows what he is doing, since he already has twrp flashed, he can actually flash the recovery rom of any version he likes without needing fastboot roms.

Clear cache and data, if possible format first before doing that, then flash the rom again.

This question keeps repeating itself, it already has Android N but in developer roms only for now. Let me explain this, before any rom is released for Global users, it is first released for developer rom users for testing, so anything that gets to developer ends up with the global rom, by next month there will be a global update for global users.
For camera comparison, check page 1113 for some shots against the Tecno Camon Cx, for the front camera, I don't know for now.

Meanwhile I am already in Android N, check the screenshot.

Grateful to those that rescued me when I fainted on this thread last week. The four xiamioist that liked my post and jboixxx that mentioned me. Gptech that refereed me to noobody, God will bless you. I tracked my phone yesterday evening and it showed attempt/failed delivery. I contacted noobody to elucidate the remote and immediate cause of the failed delivery. Thanks to his superb after sale service. He requested for tracking info. He tracked my device, informed me that my device is at the post office. That I should check by 2pm. 2pm ke! I woke up around 6am. Before 9am, I rushed to the post office. They asked me whether I received call or message I said no. The checked their record and apologized that they didn't inform me. That the staff in charge is sick. They weighed my phone about 300 whatever, I payed #200, signed and rushed to my place of work. I un boxed my device there. I pity google now. Finally, I welcome myself to the Xiaomi family. Thanks to noobody, gptech and Nipost lol. Wiped tears of joy.

I Downloaded the file and then update it using the update app on the phone

Do factory reset first, if it doesn't solve it reflash the rom, this time save it in an external memory so you don't waste data.

A friend ordered a redmi note 4x,got delivered to his post office to recieve as usual.on gettin there,the postman told him to pay 7k for customs charges sumtin wey na AES deliver am,not DHL,
The person did the right tin,he contacted me,cos the price was so crazy,he told me the postman was so nice,that he even subsidized the price for him to 5k.i told him not to pay shii,mk he waka comot the post office.
I advised he shld go back the next day,claiming he has sent a mail to PMG(nipost) of the ridiculous charges,nd he was told to ask for the full details of the man that asked him to pay custom duties/charges,(i never knew the guy actually sent the mail )on getting to the post office the next day,the post man as he get strong head reach,he ignored the guy,saying he cant give him such info,meanwhile PMG replied my guy for the details of his order,nd the particular post office the incident took place so dey can investigate,
The guy explained to his uncle,who is a friend of the postman,the postman is a friend of the guy's dad as well,his uncle not knowing the procedures paid the 5k and help the guy got his package,with plenty begging oo,the postman was even saying my guy was stubborn, ,my guy got his phone sha.
Long story cut short!! The post man as early as 7:45am this morning,ran like a man on fire to my guy's place of work,pleading saying his job is on the line,that he recieved a call frm his oga at the top,that they have been extorting money frm people,that he was willing to pay back every kobo of the 5k he collected ,that all he needs my guy to do is please help him talk to his oga,that the incident didnt occur at there own post office.
The guy told the postman to go to the office that he wud get back to him later.the guy sef is kinda feeling bad,as d man job dey on the line,

Way to go, we must deal with with these corrupt guys. Images the kind fight I fight yesterday to collect China small packet packages. Everything nr reach 300g yet dem say I must pay d #500, I just threaten dem down because dem say dem get new oga. I just tell d guy say im oga dey take im job play kalokalo .

Word of advice, it's better to update your device manually than over OTA, reason is one way of doing away with bugs is by reflashing the same rom. This is very easy when you download the rom manually and save in an external memory.

That Redmi note 4 pro prime na Mtk version, so I go go for the Redmi note 4x because of snapdragon. I dey talked from experience, I don taste both because I buy 2 mtk versions for my friends and I dey use the snapdragon version too. Regarding updates, of course the snapdragon go get better support, the mtk fit get Nougat sha, go confirm later if e don already get. As for the snapdragon, e don already get Nougat, though na for developer rom e dey available for now, those on global rom go get the update likely next month with miui 9. My screenshot fit summarise.
