yes took it to a technician to clean it, still had some water in it self. When I brought it out of the rice on Saturday evening it was on by itself, screen was okay but later started having like 6-7 lines on it( not blank lines just like screen divided into 6places, took it to a technician, opened and cleaned it but the lines on the screen didn't go off... Went home and put it inside rice again from Saturday evening till Sunday afternoon, brought it out and it was perfectly fine, kept it outside, under shade just by the side so it can get hot a bit, when it was hot brought it inside left it to cool and put it wrapped inside a nylon back inside the rice till this morning... Screen is in perfect condition right now.
See experience in 'shading' grin.

hello, please I need suggestions on which to go for xiaomi note 8 pro 6gb 128gb variant or Samsung a70
You should go for the note 8 pro only if you are after serious gaming and maybe camera. With such amount at your disposal will go for a MI 9T instead.

Meizu designs are really dope but they'll will never reach their potential with their crappy OS.

I wonder why they can't just pick pure Android and save themselves all the hassles.
First, their devices dey overpriced until last year when their eyes clear. Secondly, since dem get serious beef with Xiaomi make Samsung kuku buy dem over to make their mid range phones even cheaper, Flyme just too heavy plus very slow updates from Meizu.

Thanks Gptech
From Gallery, swipe to 'Album' then hit the '+' sign below to create your album, name it what you want and select the pictures you want to add.

Like you own RN7 and RN8, can you use same details for both devices while they are stil within your possession?
Yes you can.

For some weird reasons, I also love to back up my call logs and sms to the new device... So it doesn't "look" like a separate device to me..
One of the reasons some of us won't leave miui, you don't even have to manually back up call logs, notes, sms, so long sync is on. Just login your miui account to the new device and you are good to go cheesy.

Please how do I navigate to use the screenshot shortcut? And also want to about the volume shortcut keys Allo from lock screen. Thanks buddy
If you mean taking screenshots, there are about 5 ways I know of, the simplest being using 3 fingers to swipe down your screen.

I guess they will figure out which one suite them among the options you and I proferred. Me for one, I do avoid ES Explore and Xplore cos if one mistakenly tamper with the root files and the phone is turned off, it might not come on again unless flashed.
This is true though, especially for rooted devices.

[I updated the App last night but I'm still seeing 29% battery usage. quote author=Gptech post=84287868]
Check playstore for whatspp update and update the app.

Modified : just saw the SOT you posted earlier, there's nothing wrong with your battery, it's one of the best around.
Which app do you use the most? Do you receive so many messages on WhatsApp simultaneously?
PhonesRe: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 9:15am On Nov 23, 2019
okikiosibodu:
An app called "Super backup" can help wit that. After downloading the app from play store, launch it
Then go to "Apps Backup".
Choose the apps you will like backed up, and then the "back up" button becomes highlighted.
After back up, the file gets saved to your phone memory... You can move it to you mmc via your file manager. From there, you can also share via WhatsApp
Nice app, but some persons will just back up everything not knowing Internal storage is at stake.
