Hello guys, I have 30k to spare for a phone and a friend here on NL advised me to get a xiomi phone but the problem is that I've never used this brand before and I don't wanna regret it later on. Besides, I don't even know the model I should go for.

Your help will be highly appreciated

Thanks in anticipation
Check out the Redmi 7a especially during this period, you'll likely get a good deal because of sales anniversary in many platforms. You'll actually regret if you go for another brand especially at this price range. If you have a little more cash to spend, go for one with a higher Internal memory.

Hello Nairalanders!

I need your help and advice.
I have read numerous reviews on different DSLR cameras and right now, I am even more confused.
I will appreciate suggestions on which to buy...BUDGET is 450k max.
Things I'm look out for in a camera are:
1. Very sharp and detailed picture quality
2. Impressive performance in low light.
3. Good video quality (possibly 4k)
4. Good speed in image capturing movements e.g sports
.
Thanks
Get a neatly used Nikon D750, problem solved.

Finally, updated my mi9t to Mi11.
I for just stick with miui10.
I don't like this miui11 at all..
How can I go back ?
Stick with it, you'll love it more than miui 10 in a few weeks to come, there'll be new themes with full support and Xiaomi will roll in incremental updates to fix any ish.

Is that all that make a phone. If you need those Oneplus 7 pro and S10 is there. Like I said earlier even the Samsung A80 priced more doesn't house stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos
Dolby Atmos should be available though, since its on lower A series. Just that they don't even sound as what you get on the Redmi note 7 without Dolby Atmos. I sometimes wonder if its a stripped down version of Dolby Atmos.

It can not even boot anymore. If I try to force boot, it only shows fastboot without anything coming up. I no fit buy anything called redmi again.
Someone said I have to flash it.
70k gone for nothing
I almost laf because of this comment now. Since you are on fastboot, just hold down the power button until the screen turns blank, immediately it turns blank hold the volume up button together with the power button, this should take you to recovery mode, you can reboot from there. If the problem persists, you should repeat the process and do a factory reset.

I have left it and the battery is dead. Immediately I put my charger, it will keep showing redmi by xiaomi and then it will power off by itself without even showing me if it is charging OR not.

I am not happy because I need my stuff inside the phone. It is not even up to one year.
If you hold power button and volume down together, it should take you to fastboot mode, please do this repeatedly until it takes you there, otherwise might have cause to believe that your power and volume buttons have moved out of place.

Don't panic, but the patient, I will say leave it like that till the battery runs out, then charge again and see.

Please my Rn7 has become faulty. It switches on by itself and switch off. It began yesterday just like that.
I have not unlock bootloader yet.
Please what do I dohuh
I am confused
More like bootlooping. If it switches on and only shows the Redmi logo before switching off, hold down the power button and volume up for up to 6 secs and see if it will take you to recovery mode, if it does, you can do a factory reset from there.

Have even use deep delete searching from folder to folders can fine anything thing still have 1gb as other file
1gig is not too much so long you have enough space to run your phone, you are fine. Might be a rom ish because there are times I see used up space on that section.
Lastly, I just checked another device close by, here's the outcome grin.

That section of storage called Other Files, include ordinary non-media files that You have either downloaded or apps use to function in your phone.. Files like Zip and archive files, data cache from your browser which it uses to load up websites faster, etc.. So if u want to go hunting for what to delete, Be Very Careful about it

For Cleanup, I highly recommend SDMaid Pro.. Literally the most efficient cleanup tool.. It recognises every app in your fone and deletes only files that apps won't need or can easily recreate without affecting performance of these apps.. Also it can detect junk files of apps u have uninstalled and help u clean it up

Also, please, some of u have over 100 apps in yr 16GB fone, please go through these apps and delete anything u are not actively using.. The Average Smartphone app is as large as a good PC software from 2005, ranging from something as small as 2MB (Facebook Lite) to 200/300MB (Snapchat), so u must be careful how u pile up apps.. Take note of what and what u need yr fone for and keep One App Each for Every Need.. No need having VLC AND MX Player on one fone cos u want to buffer 240p nonsense from Xvids grin Curate your software and take back your space

Any advice telling people to just go into their file managers and start deleting files all willy-nilly is horrible advice.. If u think about it, na now I know why iPhone no get File Manager
Your message is understood but some stuff up there are not true, are you saying I have no files in archives or I don't have cached files grin?

This is terrible advice.. Tomorrow when he ends up deleting his WhatsApp Backups folder (which android sees as Other Files), or deletes the files his 17GB grin worth of Apps use to work, and one of them starts crashing and stops functioning properly, na u go answer the Clarion Call wink
But each folder dey clearly stated nau. Whatsapp backups are saved as messagestore as shown on his screenshot. So long e nr go delete obb files, files from Android-Data, e nr get problem. I get your point sha, na here somebody go use deep clean delete many of im important files because person tell am to use cleaner to free up phone memory grin.
