How much do you want for the GTA4? |
About 15k. Go to Saka Tinubu in V/I. |
I started smoking when I was 17 in 1997 and stopped middle of last year. Before then I had stopped smoking but no longer than a month. Now January 2010 makes it my 7th month without a cigarette. I did it without nicotine patches or any othe system, but simply stopped cold turkey. Yes there were periods immediately after I stopped when I felt irritable and was dying for a smoke, but I distracted myself by doing other things. The important thing to know is that the urge to light up usually goes away after a couple of minutes. The trick, really, is having strong will and remaining focused on your goal. Cigarettes are merely crutches and only end up making you feel worse than the thing that pushes you to smoke one. They will make you feel ill and leave you operating at less than your full potential for as long as you smoke them. The idea is to remain focused. I assure you that quitting for only a month will reduce your urge to smoke to negligible levels. While they say that an ex-smoker will never get over the urge to light up a cigarette as long as he/she lives, I don't find this to be the case. When offered a cigarette by friends who still smoke (those who haven't stopped smoking will resent the fact that you've stopped, no matter what they say), I realise that the only thing that can compel me to light up at that point is the pressure to appear "cool" and not any nicotine urge. Ultimately my point is that, despite what anyone will tell you, cigarette smoking, though slightly difficult, is indeed possible to be stopped without resorting to nicotine patches but merely by internal strength of will. It is certainly easier than buying petrol these days. I commend your effort and wish you luck. |
This'll surely cause inflation. Kidnappers, who on Monday afternoon in Igoli, Ogoja, northern Cross River State, abducted Mrs Victotria Ickeke Idiege Omang, second wife of a Cross River State House of Assembly member, have turned down an offer of N10 million, describing the sum as “an insult”. |
Sorry Carshopper. That's a good offer. Maybe if it was mine. As it is, I don't think I can persuade the seller to go lower than N2.4. The car's quite well maintained. |

Cool. How much does it cost to replace the transponder or keyless remote for a japanese car? |
? Man, I bought this model, neat, out of Cotonou 4 years ago for N330,000. Haba bros. |
Inspired, clean ride. But I'll never for the life of me figure out why Toyota chose to put the speedometer in the middle for the Yaris and the cup holder @ the passenger side. ![]() |

Prospective buyers of landed property on this site should always endeavor to ensure that proper searches are made in respect of the properties at the Lagos State lands registry by professionals before money changes hands. The Courts are full of cases, which have dragged on for years, about situations where people bought land from sellers who weren't true owners as well as cases of multiple sales to several buyers. Uthainah:Uthaina, You'll be suprised to discover that these sort of practices by stockbrokers are quite common these days. However, important questions are: (1) Have you spoken to the broker in question or other top management, with a view to remedying the situation and if you did, what was their response? and (2) Do you have documents (i.e. letters, emails or faxes) evidencing that you gave your broker instructions which he failed to adhere to? If you gave your instructions over the telephone, it may be difficult to prove malpractice. Be that as it may, and for what it's worth, I think you should consider reporting your stock broker's activities to the Securities Exchange Commission and the Nigerian Stock Exchange and attention your complaint to the Compliance Department, stating the stockbrokers name, position and the name of the stockbroking firm he's attached to. Also send a copy of the complaint letter to the stockbroking firm in question so they can see what you have done. Remember, it helps if you can attach any form of documentation to the complaint letter (photocopies) evidencing your relationship with the stockbroker and his later malfeasances. In the meantime I suggest you close your stock broking account with the broker to prevent further damage. Gr8Child |
