Autos › Re: Question for Benz Enthusiasts: Which is better, a Toks 2013 Benz GL450 or ML350? by gr8child(op): 12:19pm On May 27, 2024 |
I didn't go for the GL450 anymore, I got the ML350. Less stress on fuel consumption and cost of replacing air suspensions. Benz V8s drink fuel like crazy, which is something to think about with the the current prices of fuel. I haven't had any major issues with the ML so far apart from the fact that the parts cost much more than Japanese cars. That's normal for Benzs and BMWs. Just to change the steering switch controls recently cost me about N35k for the part alone. Apart from that the ML is a strong car and I've enjoyed owning it. It goes without saying that you should always go with a competent mechanic who is experienced with handling Benz repairs when going to inspect the car before buying. Cheers. anyibig: Hello, did you later got the Gl450? If yes, how has the experience been so far? Planning on buying a 2014 model with V8 engine |

*sigh* I travel all the time. I've tried to access WiFi and it never worked. There is some supposed free Glo wifi thing that hardly connects and when it does is so slow that it's not even worth it. If there was working WiFi in the Abuja airport then why is FAAN trying to implement it now? Trimjos: Oga, it works. The way u people even argue blindly is Soo nauseating. I used the wifi and it worked wella |

This is why history books are important. People did not accuse Obasanjo of yorubanisation. In fact he was accused of not giving enough appointments to people from his region because he wanted his government to be inclusive (which, objectively, was the correct thing). |

Atk1nson: The good thing is he paid by instalment.
In the normal course of business, title is not transferred until full payment is made.
So even if you made a commitment to sell to him upon (full) payment, the fact that you rescinded the decision before he made full payment puts you in the green.
However, if he can prove he did borrow to make that purchase, you may owe him the interest on the loan as he took the loan because you gave him a legitimate expectation that the car could be his.
However, if he has made full payment, that becomes tricky as you are reneging on a verbal contract and should compensate him well for the inconvenience Lol. That’s not the correct position at all. The deal was struck the moment that the seller agreed to start receiving payment in instalments from the buyer. If the buyer had stopped paying the seller would have been entitled to go to court and seek what is called an order of specific performance. Imagine if you paid for a house off plan and have been paying all your milestone instalments on time, then the developer comes and says he’s not selling to you again then returns your money and goes to sell the same house to someone who has offered him more money than you. You would be entitled to go to court and get an order to force the seller to stick to the terms of the deal that was struck. . |

-Yoruber people should stop abandoning their villages. What I saw there was an eyesore. No toilets in most of the "houses". School self mchew! I'm sure the people from Ikere Ekiti have enough politicians in government. They should look to them for development. |
